Is He Gonna Get A High Bill

MY PHONE BILL IS HIGH : HOW DO I TELL MY PARENTS?!?!?

So I was texting on my phone, and I got a message from 453, which is the T-Mobile number. It said my phone bill was $109.34 and I just started crying. Not only am I gonna get my phone taken for forever, but I can put my parents under a lot of stress trying to pay for the bill. We are going through money problems right now, so this is just going to make it worse. I feel so bad about it. The last bill was $64 dollars, so this is going to be a major shocker. I don't even understand how the bill got that high!!!! But i'm almost positive that it was because of ChompSMS. An app I downloaded for better texting decorations. It said it was free, and I have unlimited texting but people say they got charged. So I uninstalled it as soon as I found that out. Anywaya, I stopped using my phone because I had a feeling that if I kept using it, the bill would get higher. I checked the bill again today, and now it says $156.18 and I got so upset. I sent a few messages, and now its 56 dollars higher. I'm only 12, so I can't get a job to help pay for it. But if I could, I would. I'm starting to sell stuff at school, so i'm going to try to save my money until they find out about the bill. What can I do to get a lot of money? & how do I tell my dad? Please, be serious. I'm really scared, and upset with myself. I don't need trolls to make it worse. Please, help me!!

Can you get high from smoking a dollar bill?

whoever told you that probably wanted to see if you were dumb enough to try to blaze a dollar bill. and if they did it themselves.. they've probably never gotten high off anything before, so the inhaling the smoke, breathing in deep, holding their breath, and exhaling made them feel lightheaded and considered it to be the feeling of getting high, just my theory. But no, don't go lighting up a dollar, its not gonna do anything for you, and you shouldn't be trying to get high anyway, don't waste your money, or your life kid.

What GPA did Bill Gates get in high school?

Look it was high, he was a National Merit Finalist, he had 1590/1600 on his SAT and he got into Harvard. That had virtually nothing to do with his eventual success though, he dropped out. His SAT score is not important and his GPA is not important to anyone at all for any reason.I say it doesn’t matter because no one hired him or fired him or signed a deal with him or had lunch with him because of his grades. Anything he did technically, in business, etc is utterly unrelated to his grades.Your grades matter when you are trying to get an education because that’s how you are evaluated. There isn’t a lot else to go on. But once you are out of school no one is going to care.I never once got asked about my GPA at any time in my career and I never asked anyone who I was interviewing about theirs.

What was it like to go to high school with Bill Gates?

In Idea Man: A Memoir by the Cofounder of Microsoft, Paul Allen  (who went to high school and later co-founded Microsoft with Bill Gates) describes Bill as a very intelligent, very competitive, very arrogant, and very insecure individual. Though Allen said that "[Gates was] very suggestible and is ready to jump at any chance to have fun in strange ways. We fit together very well." he also mentioned that Gates was an incredibly sore loser. Apparently Allen and Gates played chess a few times but stopped because Gates would sweep the pieces to the floor in anger whenever he lost.In his free time, Gates would spend hours and hours coding, usually alongside Allen and two others whose names I forget. The four of them were bound by mutual interests, but suffered from occasional tension and age differences. There is a story about Gates being asked to devise a system to automate the scheduling of classes at his school and devising it in such a way that he was placed in a class of all girls. On that topic, though he was a nerd, he apparently did date and wasn't all that socially awkward. It's also interesting to note that Gates got straight As, had a near perfect memory, and was from a pretty wealthy family. He paged for some Congressman one summer in high school. He also did a lot of math, scoring quite highly in the Putnam during his Senior year of high school. When it came time to apply for college, he only applied to three: Harvard, Princeton, and Yale. For each application, he branded himself differently (according to what each college supposedly wanted), demonstrating a sense of ruthless pragmatism rather early on. Apparently it worked - he got into all three.

Electric bill EXTREMELY HIGH!?

What uses the most electricity is the appliances that either change air temperature or water temperature....also that means the electric stove.
. A refrigerator uses power, yes. but it is well insulated. We live with it as we need it.
. So if you laundry EVERY DAY, that means you wash yourself every day, hot water for a shower and hot water for washing the clothes and hot air for the clothes dryer. Go outside and look at your meter. That disk will be spinning like a 78 record(really fast). Hell, crank on the heat so you are using all the "heating" appliances and you will see the disk go around really fast. Now go in and shut off the heat, the dryer, and stop running the hot water. The hot water tank takes a few minutes to heat it up and then it stops. Then you will see the disk rotate much slower. That is how it works. It is recording you usage (like a car odometer records your mileage for the distance you drive). Electrical usage is measured the same way. Lights do not use that much and the TV or PC is like a few lightbulbs. If you plug in your car it has an electrical element in it so like a stove element.

If you think this is high, wait till they install a SMART meter. That catches microvolts. You get charged for that.

It is high because you used it...either through more cooking. My laundry may get done once a month. Just saying, why wear out my clothes by over washing them?

Talk to your electrical company about going on a equal monthly payment (where you pay an average the same amount summer when it is light use and winter when the use is heavier). It helps. I got gas heating and paid $40 in January but that means in July it is about the same even though I don't use any heat at all. I mean instead of $200 in January and lower in the summer months. Work is slow in the winter months.

EXTREMELY high EBMUD Water Bill ! WHY?

Our water bill came for $357.31 for the two month period when before it had never been over $65. I called the water company ( EBMUD ) and they said they would send someone to recheck the meter. When some one came to recheck the meter, they left me a note on the door saying the the meter reading was correct. EBMUD said there might be a water leak somewhere in the house. I have looked for a water leak all over the house and have not found any! The consumption info on the bill say we used over 1,000 GALLONS A DAY! and there is no way we could ever use so much water in a 1,000 SF house. I also checked the meter and it did stop when there was no water being used in the house, so that eliminated the chance of having a broken underground pipe.

After calling EBMUD about four times to try to make them understand that maybe it was a faulty meter and that there was no way we could have used so much water. The only answers I got were:

*Check under the house for water leaks. * Found nothing. Neither small or large.
*Check your toilet. *We have a 3 yr. old toilet and found no leaks
*Check your irrigation system. *(We have never had one.)

I checked all those things as soon as I finished talking with the EBMUD rep. the fist time I called. When I called again to tell them I did not find any leaks, they told me to recheck everything especially the toilet because the water had to be going some where. The last time I called, the rep. said that if I could not find the water leak my self, to hire a plumber so he could find it for me. I decided not to hire a plumber because I knew there was no way we could have an invisible leak letting out 1k gallons a day. So I did not pay the bill and waited until we received the next one. Well, the bill just arrived two days ago and for the last two month period, which was May and June, it was $65.04 but with the previous bill still unpaid, and a $5.35 late fee, the total is now 427.69!

Has anyone else been through this with EBMUD or other water company ??

Any ideas why my water bill was so high for those two months if we never used so much water???

**EBMUD serves water to over 1.2 million customers in the eastern portion of the San Francisco Bay Area.

What are the chances that H.R.392 - Fairness for High-Skilled Immigrants Act of 2017 will pass?

There are 238 cosponsors for this bill including 110 Republicans. Support for this bill is not a issue but politics. Cosponsors - H.R.392 - 115th Congress (2017-2018): Fairness for High-Skilled Immigrants Act of 2017 .This bill has been shoved in Immigration subcommittee which is not ready to give this bill a hearing let alone vote from past 6 months. Steve King basically control that sub-committee and he shoots from hips moment he hear word immigration. You can just scroll through kind of hearing they conduct that will give enough hint the fate of any pro immigration bill. https://judiciary.house.gov/pres...A committee can kill bill by just not acting upon it and most of bill sent to those subcommittee to that purpose only.Although, there is option to bring bill on floor through “discharge petition” even house leader who control the house oppose the measure but it depend upon will power of Kevin Yoder and other sponsors. I am surprise why this bill is not coming on floor despite having more than enough cosponsors . Probably party who are going to benefit from this have to call their congressman to check out.
