I have really bad grades in high school?
I m a sophomore in high school and I enjoy my time here at my school with all my friends but I ve never been academically smart my whole life in school and this is probably the worst I ve ever done in. I have 4 Fs and I have one month to get back on track before they send me to another school for my missing credits... I don t know what to do anymore since I have so much to do in a relatively short amount of time. if any of you have ever struggled in school and got back up let me know how you did it or any ideas you have. Any help is appreciated thank you
Is one D in high school really bad?
I'm a sophomore in a senior/junior class which is Algebra 2. I am not good at it at all. I keep bombing the test and quizzes. I have such a bad feeling I am going to end up with a D. I want at LEAST a C and the finals are next week. The finals are worth 10% of your grade. If I get an A+ on the final, i believe there is a chance that I can get a C. I am at a 64% right now. We have a quiz this week too. I just really am looking at the future right now and feeling that just this one D can ruin my college choices. I am admitting that I have slacked off this semester and haven't studied for quizzes. I have done all the Homework.
Is dropping out of high school really bad?
Dude I feel your pain and trust me, dropping out is a bad idea. You say you don't have any career goals, how about talking about careers and post-secondary with your guidance councillor? If you drop out and don't get a highschool diploma, you'll never get a decent job, hell, you won't get anywhere in life without a basic education. Instead of failing all your classes, maybe you could switch to some classes you like? Don't worry man, life always seems to suck at some point but it'll get better. There's always someone who has it worse than you. I know the frustration of not being good at school. Get help from teachers because that's what they're for. Man up and do something before it's too late!
Is high school really as bad as the movies and stuff?
High school is what you make of it. But the movies and drama depict different clicks and in reality that's how it is. How you get treated is how you hold yourself against the bullies, the girls, and the jocks. But be aware that by the time you graduate, things will drastically change. Your close friends might not be your friends anymore, people move, people die, people change. The person you hated forever, could turn to be your best friend for the rest of your life. And your best friend could be an enemy behind your back. But high school is where you learn what you want to be. College is where you learn who you are. In any stage there will be obstacles and challenges. It's up to you to make the best of it.
If you don't graduate from high school is it really bad?
well i doubt i will graduate high school i am a jr. and i having problems i ain't stupid but i miss a lot of school so am really behind and well even when i did go to school i have a huge problem paying attention. also my teacher told me not to even bother when he told me that that is when i guess i just gave up and stopped going. if you don't graduate is it impossible to make it in life?
