Hard to get Job in Japan as Illegally Immigrant?

Japanese immigration laws are in place to protect Japanese interests. This includes ignoring situations where illegal immigrants are doing work that is boring, dangerous or low paying. These jobs must be done and young Japanese workers are unwilling to do them. Because of this there are very large numbers of undocumented illegal aliens in Japan from China working in factories throughout Japan.

The United States uses illegal Mexican immigrants the same way. For the most part, as long as they operate safely and quietly such practices are ignored.

Small businesses do not have this option and run a risk by hiring illegal help.

There are two main reasons that you would not be hired:

1. You would stick out as a "sore thumb" and draw unwanted attention. The Chinese workers blend in well.

2. Illegal workers have no rights (a very bad situation to be in) and can be asked to work 24 hours a day if necessary. They will work 7 days a week, with or without breaks, in the heat and in the cold. Understand that they are doing work that even Japanese (known as some of the hardest workers in the world) won't do. I know you don't mind working hard but you would never convince a Japanese boss. They need to feel completely free to ask inhuman things of their workers. Japanese know they can't do that with Caucasians.

A small company would not hire you because of the risks. A large company would not hire you because there is an abundance of more suitable workers available.

I suggest you look for ways to do what you want legally. It requires a few more steps but usually works out better for you in the long run.

Why do so many people dislike/hate illegal immigrants so much?

I took this immigration class this summer in central mexico. It wasnt about statistics or anything like that.. it was a class about the personal story of immigration. What i learned mostly was people are ignorant to the way illegal immigrants mostly mexicans are. Have you noticed that no one cares about illegals from norway or ireland? no because they are white and they speak the same language and have some of the same customs.. but Latino people are darker, speak differently and their country is seen as dirty, lazy, and uneducated. We tie that view of mexico and latin america to the people who inhabit it. America has always had an issue with immigrants before Latinos, it was the irish, and before that we treated africans like dogs.. Why does america do it? I think we are all trying to claim something, find our sincere heritage, and be one united group, and people may think immigrants our infringing on our unity.

How long would the recent global right-wing movement last for?

It’s about globalization and it’s effects. In fact this is really the one thing that different “far-right” or nationalist leaning movements share in common. Geert Wilders in the Netherlands with his PVV party support the ideas of Dutch tolerance, gay rights, tolerance, and gender freedoms/equality ( though I can understand if someone may interpret Wilder’s talk about gay rights as not so much about protecting gays as it is about attacking Islam) while Le Pen’s stance on social issues fall along traditional Christian lines—yet they are often compared with one another. Why? Because of their strong stance against un- (or under) regulated immigration, the “islamization” of Europe, a waring away of European values, and the ineffective and detached ruling of the elite. Other parties like the AFD in Germany and Donald Trump in the U.S. touch on these points with their own localized differences. If this is the true core of the far right movement then it will loose traction if there is a literal or perceived reduction in immigration and immigrant related crime. There was also a global recession, and if you live in the European Union your country may have experienced austerity. If growth is slow and low and unemployment does not charge or grows then voters may be more eager to select an alternative to the status quo.If we talk about Europe specifically, I am inclined to think that as long as the European Union lasts and is not reformed in a meaningful and a way that is felt by its citizens there will always be a far-right. There will always be a party that has an aversion to supranational structures like the EU. They can very easily say that their countries are too beholden to the EU, and that it is unreasonable to support “weaker” countries or countries with different economies. If the points above mean anything then we will be with the far right for a long time, and they will pop up again and again. Also if the various far-right parties can pull the other parties toward the right, or control the conversation, or even get other parties to simply be on the defensive then they will be around for a long time.Very frankly if some of these parties normalize their rhetoric even a little they will have long lasting power like the National Front.

Do Americans realize just how screwed America is?

America was headed off a cliff after the Bush administration, and it did't matter who took the presidency after him. I could litterally rattle of several reasons why America will be lucky if it even exists as a country by the end of this decade:

1) The War that never ends. China owns the U.S., lock stock & barrel, it could crash the American economy instantly if it wanted to, and it's vice grip on your balls is not stopping because you keep on borrowing more money.

2) Education & Healthcare: Both systems are f____ed up, America has the most uneducated population for a developed country in the world. It is ranked 30th in overall education, and most of the highly educated Americans are immigrants, or the children of immigrants from other countries

3) Baby boomers: Taking into account America's largely uneducated population, and realizing that this is the information age and brains make countries go, America is headed down the drain and the baby boomers retire, their physcial jobs are replaced with more intellectual ones, and the Americans who are in the work force do not have the expertise. Better start importing a lot of Asian doctors & engineers

4) Social issues: Americans are so stupid that even in the midst of 2 wars, a healthcare crises & a crappy economy, they are still fighting over issues of religion, sexual orientation, race, etc. So not only are the current problems not being solved, they are being exacerbated by a population that prioritizes non-issues over real ones
