Is India Is The Peaceful Country In The World

Which are the most peaceful countries in the world?

After centuries of violent history, Portugal is now one of the most peaceful nations on Earth. In fact, in the latest Global Peace Index, we were ranked the 5th most peaceful nation in the World after Iceland, Denmark, Austria and New Zeeland, and frankly I think we should be higher on that list. I only see Iceland and New Zeeland as as peaceful or more peaceful than us: http://economicsandpeace.org/wp-... *.Some reasons for this? We´ll, we´re one of the most ethnically and linguistically homogenous countries of Europe, we have the oldest borders in Europe, relationship with our historical rival Spain (and also our only neighbour by land) is at an alltime high after centuries of disputes. We are also geographically as far away on the Continent as you can get from Russia (and Germany..) and the Balkans, where things traditionally heat up here in Europe. We have a good integrated immigration policy and we are far removed from the Refugee crisis, both as a host and a passing through nation. In general, Portuguese tend to be open to foreigners, not saying that we don´t have imbeciles and xenophobes as everywhere else, but they are not politically and socially organized and we´ve had no significant xenophobe incidents. We have no relevant extremist party, a rarity in Europe. All this is even more significant since we´ve been through one of the most durable and difficult economical crisis ever and wé´re barely seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. We managed to keep a stable democratic government, no social unrest and relatively low violent crime rate, which is really admirable since the Portuguese people really took a hit with the austerity measures, in my opinion too much of a hit. But the general opinion of the Portuguese was that the measures were necessary, although they unfortunately were not felt by everyone in the same fashion. But we did what we´ve been doing for centuries as a People: Grind our teeth and work on adapting. That is why we, with the ocean on one side and a (until recently) larger neighbour with strong hegemonic tendencies, have managed to defend our independence for eight centuries.*Update: As I predicted, we’ve risen in the Global Peace Index. The last report for 2017 put us as the 3rd most peaceful country in the World, Global Peace Index – Vision of Humanity.

Who can make India a peaceful country?

Peace reside within every human. So collectively we change within and stop fighting with ourself this will give peace. Now to list there are a coutless issues to be solved to bring peace which is practically not possible as the Mind goes on finding new problems for existing solutions.Lets change inner and see peace within without any distinction on Religion as all of them advocates God is within or to seek within or God is One.God Bless.

Are there any countries that are poor but peaceful?

Just because countries are poor definitely doesn't mean they are not peaceful. Actually to be honest most countries considered "poor" are some of the most peaceful places on Earth. Take for example Nepal, considered to be 172 on the world GDP list, however Nepal is probably one of the most peaceful countries on Earth, a country where Buddhism originated.
Another example is Costa Rica, a country thats not considered to be very wealthy (only 75th on the world GDP index). However it is considered to be a extremely peaceful place, ranking very high in the global peace index.
Of course there are many countries considered "poor" like Somalia or Nigeria where it is far from peaceful. But just because a place is considered poor, does not make them un-peaceful people.
Hope that helped?

Why is India so low in the list of peaceful countries in spite of maintaining the peaceful relations with neighboring countries, as well as with other countries in the recent past?

That is because according to GPI (Global Peace Index) a peaceful nation doesn't mean peace-seeking nation.India has got a remarkable history in peace-keeping efforts and offering asylums unlike "peaceful" nations of the west. Be it UN operations, NAM or the recent Yemen Evacuation, India hasn't hesitated in overlooking existing tensions for humanitarian work. Unfortunately, this index doesn't account any of such efforts. [Financial contribution to UN is however counted. Lol ]  Go through components of Index, and we will understand why is India not so peaceful.1. Internal conflicts matter : India is a diverse country, and second-most diverse landmass in the world after Africa. Internal conflicts are by this statistic, obvious. To make sure that these internal conflicts don't result in deaths, they need to be resolved by keeping internal security persons, which is counted as a negative in the GPI.  The countries that are at the top are not as diverse as India.2. Population : The Index turns a blind eye to the population of the nation. Though there are per 100,000 components at some places, but in number of deaths and qualitative rankings there is no such consideration. The countries at the top do not even have population equal to Ahmedabad. 3. Haalaat-i-tareekh : India had a string of wars with its neighbors in the past. Keeping weapons is a defense measure for us. A nation with 1.2 billion people that is surrounded by rogue nations like Pakistan cannot afford not to have an army and weapons. India as a nation is not "selling" war as some of the "peaceful" nations of the west do. The list is crap. I don't know how it helps the world. Maybe it acts as a guide to rich paranoid tourists that are seeking havens.

How is India not to be considered as a peaceful country whereas it is the only nation in the world which have not attacked by any other country?

First off all, peace is not defined as the state where a country is not at war with another, it’s when there is also no internal strife or struggle. Our motherland is firstly divided and secondly if we consider only modern day India then still on various issues like poverty, caste, gender, sexuality, religion etc there is some form of conflict every other day. Therefore India is not very peaceful but it isn’t altogether savage.P.S. India has been involved in direct military conflicts with China and Pakistan since her inception and therefore your question is a historical oxymoron ;-)

When will India become a peace country?

Practical PeaceThe finest achievement of mankind will be peaceThere are many people who talk theory. This is okay; theory is okay. I talk practical. My challenge is to go around the world and tell people of this world—not on the moon, not on Mars, but of this earth—that peace is possible.I tell them, “The finest human achievement of mankind will not be the rockets, will not be the space exploration. But the finest achievement of mankind will be peace.” I cannot talk theory.Because, do you know how many people there are in this world who look at me and say, “You’re crazy. There will never be peace. Never be peace.” And I say, “No. There will be peace.” Why?Read more Practical PeaceSays Prem Rawat (Global Ambassador of Peace)

Is PAKISTAN a PEACEFUL country or a TERRORIST'S country?

Pakistan is an area on the planet Earth identified by an invisible, arbitrary border. Like all other areas on Earth similarly identified, it is occupied by people. Each person in each country has a unique perspective of reality. Currently, in Pakistan, enough people have perspetives that cause strife with others that we often read about it in the news. This is neither good nor bad; it just is the way it is. Perhaps some of us should make an effort to help those in Pakistan find a way to be content, but as long as most people on the planet identify with their thoughts and emotions, it is unlikely that any place on earth will be populated by contented people.

Why is india the only country in the world having both tigers and lions at the same time but others hav either

They inhabit very different kinds of forest. African lions range over dry scrubland while Asiatic lions ranged over Syria, Iraq, Pakistan, Iran and into the arid forest regions of India. Tigers inhabit forested areas than provide a different cover for stalking. If they occupied similar territory they would be in conflict for prey. Most species adapt to exploit niches rather than face the loss of fitness from direct confrontation. The tiger may have arisen in Asia as a subspecies of the lion occupying differing habitats where the coloration shifts were selected for.
All four of the Panthera species descend from the spotted Lynx-like Ur-cat. All the related big cats retain the spotting at least as juveniles. Tigers spots became elongated to blend with heavy shadows of the forest while lions lost their adult spots to blend with open scrub forest grass covers. These two remain so closely related their skeletons are nearly indistinguishable.
