Is Is Possible To Speak Fluent Spanish In Six Months Of Learning

Can I learn fluent spanish in 6 months?

It is certainly possible to be at least semi-fluent in Spanish in six months, but to achieve that goal self-study may not be enough. While it is undoubtedly a good start, your learning would benefit immensely if you were to take language classes, especially a total immersion course.

The advantage of language classes is that they are usually taught by native teachers, who have spoken Spanish their whole lives as their first language and therefore know the "ins and outs" of the language, so to speak. Thus, by taking a course at a dedicated language school, you would be sure to quickly grasp the correct pronounciation of words and sentences, something which self-study tends not to develop so much, focusing more on grammar and written practice.

When taking a total immersion language course, this advantage is increased twofold, as not only are you learning the most correct use of language *inside* the classroom, but also *outside* of it. By inserting you into a Spanish-speaking society, these courses effectively "force" you to use the language to get along in your daily life, leading to faster progress. In addition, living in a Spanish-speaking country full-time will help you get acquainted with the more colloquial side of the language, which is inherent to true fluency.

Therefore, a total immersion language course would be your best option if you are seeking to learn Spanish quickly and efficiently. Being a relatively simple and straightforward language, a few months in a Spanish-speaking country should be enough to give you a sufficient grasp on the basics of it, enabling you to communicate with your friend when the necessity arises.

Should you be interested, the company I currently work for offers total immersion language courses in a number of Spanish-speaking countries. Below I have included the relevant link, so feel free to browse at will and see what we offer!

Hope I have helped. Good luck!

Is It Possible To Speak Six Languages Fluently?

Hi :)

I'm pretty good at learning languages at school (i'm 14) and i really want to learn some more. Right now i speak three. My native language is danish, i speak english fluently and then i'm ok at german, but i don't really like that language, which makes it harder to learn.

Anyway, i want to learn: french, spanish and italian. Do you think that's possible?

I can get spanish classes in a couple of years, and my mom has been talking about this italian language course in Italy (it takes three weeks, and sound really great)

Hope you can help :)

Is It Possible To Speak Six Languages Fluently?

Hi :)

I'm pretty good at learning languages at school (i'm 15) and I really want to learn some more. Right now I speak three. My native language is English, I speak German fluently and then i've been learning Japanese for about 3 months.

Anyway, i want to learn: Italian, Portuguese, and Lebanese-Arabic . Do you think that's possible?

I can get Portuguese classes in a couple of years, and my mom has been talking about this Italian language course in Italy (it takes three weeks, and sound really great)

And how long would it take to learn these languages?
Hope you can help :)

Is it possible to learn french in 3 months?

With Rosetta Stone, it is impossible to achieve fluency in a language. Yes, you can become proficient, but you can only become fluent through an extended stay in a country where they speak the target language. If you did Rosetta Stone for three months and then went to France for another 3-6 months, you would be speaking very good french. Still maybe not fluent though unless you happen to speak some other romance language (especially something like Catalan).

So to answer your question, it depends on your definition of "learn". You can speak much better French after three months of Rosetta Stone than you did before those three months, but it will only be intermediate French if you really work. You won't be able to achieve fluency or begin to master it. If you already have basic knowledge, go to Canada or something for three months, and that will go a LONG way.

Rosetta Stone basically tries to imitate the way a baby learns their first language by eliminating translations to your native language and using word-picture association. Useful, but you can only do so much with it. It gets more complicated than just this once you begin to learn complicated phrases and grammatical structures, but this is the basic idea.

Is it possible to learn Japanese language and speak fluently in just 2-6 months? If so, how?

No, it’s utterly impossible. You’re welcome.Allowing you probably don’t know what fluent really means, I was able to communicate effectively in normal, reasonably grammatical Japanese in 6 months. I studied 3–4 hours a day 5–6 days a week, and being a very stable genius I was able to learn all the biggest and best words. At the time everybody except my now ex-wife applauded me for “being so fluent”, but appearances are deceiving. My Japanese friends were surprised how quickly I went from 0 to 25 kph, and because my pronunciation is good and my delivery was smooth it sounded “fluent”. But fluent also means proficient, and my range was far too limted to qualify for that. I hope that helps

Do You Think I Can Learn To Speak Six Languages Fluently?

Of-course you can bring all those six languages to advanced levels.
I have met people who are advanced in five European languages, so it is possible.
However to reach real fluency in any language takes a very long time and a lot of dedication, and with five foreign languages it will take a long time.

Apart from Spanish and Italian, the languages you mention are different enough from each other to not cause confusion.
It is not a good idea to study Spanish and Italian as the same time, there's a high risk of confusion due their close similarities. Bring one of them to the advanced level before starting the other.

In your scenario I would arrange my studies like this:
1. German, English, Italian: [2-3 years]
2. French + #1: [2-3 years]
3. Spanish + #1,2

This gives you long enough time between Italian and Spanish.

I don't think you should give up on German even if you don't really like, it is the most important European business language. It will be very useful for your career later on.
