You're all telling me you like being away from the stress and negative influences of school. YOU NEED STRESS AND NEGATIVE INFLUENCES! Face them instead of hiding from them and I can assure you, you will have a brighter future. Besides, I am well aware of the stupid people who go to public school. Academically speaking there are advanced students and failing students in both categories. But it's the social aspect that's more important.
How do the parents of Indian girls react when they learn that their daughter is dating a black guy?
True story. This actually happened in a family I knew back when I was in Hyderabad, India. An Indian girl, a neighbor of mine, is a dentist who came to Louisiana for her graduate studies. And then fell in love with a black guy and was either living with him or was already married, without the knowledge of her parents. She was very shy and conservative back in India, but obviously something changed.A few years later, her parents visited her in Louisiana and learnt that she was with a black guy and realized that she was either married or in a serious relationship. They felt ashamed and disgraced beyond anything I can imagine. Her parents then came back to India, but not to their home. They moved somewhere else, without coming back to the neighborhood, or facing anyone they knew in the neighborhood. They sold their house through a proxy and moved away. Don't know what happened after that. The same parents also disowned their son for marrying outside their caste. There were very conservative and proud of their caste. I don't know if they eventually accepted their children's choices, but I've seen that happen in many cases.Many Indian parents feel that the worst thing that a daughter can do on this earth is marrying a black guy. (yes there is racism, ignorance, xenophobia, and of course good old ethnic pride).On a personal note, I came to the US a few years before the dentist girl, married outside my race, and my parents had no problem accepting our marriage. (No, I didn't marry a black girl.)

If what you are saying is true, then heed my word: THOSE PEOPLE ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS. If they were really your friends, then they would look past your race and slight imperfections and just be your friend back. They just use you to make you feel better about themselves. Since you claim to be shy, you are an easy target to them because they think that you won't fight back. They clearly have no respect for you as a person, and therefore, they do not deserve your respect. However, be extremely careful if you decide to insult them back. If you were to call them the wrong thing, remember that there is 1 of you and at least 3 or 4 of them. Usually, the best thing to do is to let it slide off of you. People like them thrive off your negative emotions. If you don't let them see it get to you, they will see no point in continuing. Remember that these kids are but a handful of people. They do not speak for everyone around you. You cannot let the ignorance and stupidity of just a mere micro-fraction of the population get to you. Their opinions of you are entirely individual and should not matter to you. Kid, in your lifetime, you will encounter your fair share of ignorant boobs who will judge you because you are different or are not like them, or more times than not, they really have nothing better to do. Sometimes, you cannot change their minds for the better. I DO NOT in any way support, condone, or encourage violence or illegal activities, but kid, you really have to stand up for yourself. You cannot let people step all over you. You have to get away from those clowns. They are not your friends. They are bad news. They will never get over their childish tendencies to feel superior to others. Good luck, and take care of yourself.
