What color is a cancerous cyst?
i just had a cyst removed on the top of my foot... we thought it was a ganglion cyst but it wasnt... they obviously sent the cyst to be tested but i wont find out for a week the lady said it was a yellowish brown color... I WANT ANSWRES PLEASE!!!!

Years ago, there would be times when a large lump would form next to my spine (it was the color of a bruise) then would go away in a couple weeks. Today, a large lump is next to my spine. Is this a cyst? If it was cancerous, it wouldn't go away and come back right?

Actually, any lump is technically a tumour.......it's whether it's malignant or benign that is the issue. A cyst is round and encapsulated and usually filled with pus or fluid and they are benign. They don't usually grow very quickly. A malignant tumour isn't encapsulated but a mass and it it grows and spreads quickly. If the tissue is too dense to determine, if there was any real concern they would do a biopsy.

Difference between a cyst lump, and cancer lump?
What is the difference in feel of a cancer lump, and a fibroid? I have had the same lump in my breast for about a year, and my doctor says it's fibroid cyst. She did not run a biopsy, but did to a mammogram. The lump has not gotten bigger throughout the year. I did notice another lump in the same breast about 2 weeks ago. I'm a bit worried, as my breast has has had a dull pain in it for the past month. I have been drinking a lot of caffeine though.
