Is It Bad To Snack Healthily All Day Or Are 3 Meals And The Occasional Snack Better

Will eating an unhealthy meal one time make you gain weight?

Not enough that you'd notice. What is an unhealthy meal? One with excess calories? One with more sugar than anything else?Your body doesn't have a 24h diet schedule like you do. Every meal is processed at the speed it can handle. Sugar gets processed quickly and fats and proteins get processed less quickly.Having a meal high in simple sugar will make your blood sugar rise quickly and drop quickly. This energy, if not going into exertion straight away will be stored as fat in the liver and around your body.Having too many calories from any type of food will have a similar effect, but at what point in time is many calories too many calories? We use a 24hour system in our diet plans. And it tends to work quite well because it fits around our active schedule. After sleeping, we have empty stomachs and dehydration. If you haven't eaten in days, then you'll also have low blood sugar and dehydration.Throughout the day, just by standing up, you are burning calories - so you need to replace them. Knowing that it takes at least 6 hours and up to 4 days to digest food (depending on your food type and digestion ability), what you eat and when you eat it has a very large window. You can replace those calories already lost as you progress in the day, or you can have your daily recommended calorie intake in one sitting. It really doesn't change anything other than how you feel while stuffing your face in one go and how quickly you want to finish the meal.So yes and no. One high calorie meal will make you feel heavier because you've ingested that weight in food. But no, that one meal won't make you gain noticeable weight as body fat overnight. Over-eating in general and in excess sugar will make you put on weight over time.

How do I keep healthy while smoking meth?

Number one would be cadence. If you are a "casual" meth smoker and can restrict yourself to one hit in the morning, that would be the first step.Second step would be to titrate down from smoking to small early AM doses so you can get a proper night of sleep.Once you have your usage under control, its important to take a mega amount of vitamins. Not just a single multi-vitamin, but individual doses of A,B (all complexes), C, D, E, K. That probably plus a multi-vitamin just to top it off.Supplement also tons of calcium. Meth robs the bones of calcium, so drinking lots of milk when you eat will be helpful.Set an alarm on your phone to eat every 4 hours do you don't forget. Focus on eating as much as you can an as healthy as you can. The meth will have your metabolism running all the time, so no worried about weight gain, and it will actually make you feel much better.Meth killing your appetite? Drink protein shakes.Water, drink lots of water. Stay fully hydrated. If you are high its easy to get too distracted to remember to drink enough water. Keep a bottle with you full at all times.Only smoke the cleanest of meth. Don't settle for poor quality, invest only in pure / high quality stuff. Use an acetone base to wash down anything suspect to get out any decontaminates. If you took away the smoking component as part of the question, I'd suggest moving to eating it. Will be less hard on your body overall.

Is eating unhealthy once in a while ok?

I am a 15 year old boy and I have been eating very healthy the past over 3 weeks, and I have worked out very hard every day. I usually eat almost a 1000 calories per day, but this past Saturday I ate a little more and didn't work out at all. Is this ok every once in a while? Btw I'm not overweight(5'8 135 pounds)

What is more unhealthy, binging on junk food one day a week and eating healthy 6 days or eating some junk food everyday?

Very good question. :)I have been contemplating this very question when I created FAB-D Diet few months ago.Binge on junk food once a week or eating ‘some’ junk food everyday…??I asked this question to thousands of my subscriber and students in Fab Academe and the result was 60/40.60% people feel that they should categorize eating junk in a single day per day, preferably on weekends.40% people feel that they should eat small servings per day. Here are some responses:“Akash, I feel that eating junk is a habit. And if we let out once a week, preferably on a Saturday when going out with friends and family, it feels good. And the small guilt that accumulates allows me to get back on track the very next day.“I like to go with Option B [eating some junk everyday] as I know I have control and I am very disciplined. But what to do when cravings strike you? Its better to eat a small bar of chocolate rather than not allow yourself until Saturday or whichever day you have given yourself permission to eat that!”Here is my personal opinion:I like to go down the middle road on this one!FAB-D Diet has three variations based on how aggressively you want to lose weight, plus on your habits and lifestyle.70/30 FAB-D Diet means that 30% of calories can come from unhealthy food. So if you eat a 2000 caloric diet, 600 calories can come from your fav. unhealthy stuff like ice creams, alcohol etc.600 calories per day is a lot and you can still lose weight. In this article I have given two examples of people who lost a lot o weight eating only junk food.Hey, I am not suggesting you to eat junk; actually far from it.But from a coaching perspective, if you tell your clients to eat 5–8 units of fruits and vegetables everyday and completely give up his fav foods to lose weight, how long do you think he would be able to sustain himself on your strict diet?I guess you know the answer to that.So why not allow a high percentage of calories from junk based on a clients lifestyle and habits and then gradually taper the calories from junk from 30% to 20% and even 10% [ 80/20, 90/10].Here are exact calories counted FAB D DIET plans in this free course.

Which is worse: eating unhealthy food or skipping a meal?

Modest amounts of unhealthy food aren't really 'bad', nor is skipping the occasional meal.Your body was designed to skip meals and to survive off of whatever you happen to be able to eat.As long as you get adequate protein, fiber, essential fats, vitamins and minerals, and total calories - whether you get some of those calories from 'junk food' isn't a big deal.  It is only when you get lots of excess calories that is the issue.

I'm obsessed with eating healthy!?

When I was younger I used to be a stick figure weighing only 90 pounds in middle school but I never ate nothing but three meals a day and It was all bad food never gained weight or anything. It wasn't until 9th grade I was overweight 5'10 229 pounds I got this way because all I would eat is pizza, junk food junk food and more junk food I would literally take in 5000 calories a day eating and eating with no acttivity playing video games all day! I was addicted to it and loved to eat! Recently I have turned my life around and am at 157 pounds 6'0 but I still love to eat, and with the fear of having my body go into starvation mode I eat 5 meals a day because I don't want to get fat again, the problem is I have been eating literally the same thing for every meal for the past 2 months. I weigh every thing before I eat on a scale and I workout everyday,my calorie intake is 2100 calories a day nothing but oatmeal for breakfast nuts, fruits and veggies and fish and boneless skinless hickey breast, it has gotten to the point where I haven't eaten a sugary snack in 3 months and I'm afraid of going out to eat with my family and friends in fear of weight gain and additives to food that restaurants have, truth is I missed being small, which I am now once again weighing 157 at 6'0 but I also miss eating normal things but I can't stop myself from eating healthy, I have a fear that if I don't eat every 2 or three hours my body will get deprived and I will go into starvation mode so please if you can help me out with this it would be Great!

Is it okay to eat junk food once in a while?

Well, there won’t be any such problem if you eat junk food once a while. It is what you call it a cheat meal. Cheating a meal is not a problem, but i would suggest you not to continue it daily and if your body craves for it, make the same food at home. There are smart chef appliances that you can purchase. Use it and make the same food in a healthy style at home.Hope this helps!

Is it okay to eat one or two cookies every day?

This depends upon your overall eating and exercise situation. If you are of normal weight for you, get plenty of exercise, and don’t have diabetes, then probably one or two cookies per day are okay - of course, I’m assuming these are not HUGE cookies that are 250–300 calories each. The goal is to consume no more calories per day than you burn off.If you consume cookies daily and start gaining weight, then you know you’re consuming too many calories.

Mcdonalds in pregnancy?

I've been craving junk food recently, i mean alot of it but i don't give into those cravings all the time. I've been craving cheese pizza and chips & mcdonalds.

I'll eat the pizza like once every 2 weeks, and a mcdonalds like once a month. I know moderation is fine, but on Thursday i had a Mcdonalds and again tonight i'm having a Mcdonalds again, do you think this is bad? I probably won't be eating junk food for another week or so if i crave it again.

I do eat healthily every other time, drink lots of water and take my vitamins.

So really, my Q is, is it bad for me to have had one on Thurs and again tonight (Saturday) like i said, i probably won't have another Mcdonalds for about 2-3weeks and probably a cheese pizza next weekend or the week after.

I was craving all kinds of fruit in my first trimester, now my 2nd it's crap foods lol.
