Is It Bad To Workout At Night Insanity Work Out By Sean T

Shaun t insanity workout is used for what?

The core purpose of these workout is to lose weight and build muscles. Now shaun T introduce a new workout called Focus T25 Workout. This is the only workout that can give you maximum results in less time i.e. 25-minutes, 5 days a week for 10 weeks. Best thing is you have to spear only 25 minutes a day. Focus T25 workout was specially designed to burn more fat, and help you carve lean and strong muscles, fast.

How can I combine the Insanity workout with weights without overdoing it?

Insanity is a very advanced cardio training program. A lot of its moves are body weigth strength focused, for example, squat with jumps, lunge with jumps, various forms of pushups, and tricep dips. It will be very tough to go through an insanity workout even without weights, I would suggest you to start with body weight and maybe add in some lifting sessions to the program (although the program itself is very taxing to the body), I personally have done insanity with 6 day lifting per week. It is very hard for my body especially in the second half of the program. I suggest you to not lift first and just do insanity :-)

Would the insanity workout be good for a track and field athlete?

I've noticed Shaun T's insanity workout on tv and I know it would be a good workout. I'm a college track and field athlete and I'm thinking about getting this to get and keep me in really good shape over the summer until I start training for my specific events again next year. Primarily I compete in Long jump, triple jump and the hurdles both in indoor track season and outdoor track season. Does anyone think the insanity workout would be good for me to keep in shape over the summer with?

Does high intensity workouts in the MORNING cause heart attacks later in life?

I'm starting the Shaun T's insanity workout. im 17years old and i was planning to do it every morning around 5-6am ish. (ive done it for two days already *painn**)

some pple say its good because in the morning, u can burn calories more because u havent consumed any...

others say its bad to do such a high intensity workout in the morning as your heart is not ready for it and may give u heart attacks later in life...nd that the best time for hardcore workouts are around 7pm..

i seriously dont kno wat to believe....

working out in the morning seems move convenient to me..though i havent tried workin out in the evening..

no time during the afternoons...

and the problem i have workin out in the evenings is that i dnt have a set dinner time..sometimes its early..sometimes its late.. so.. if i eat before the workout..il get serious cramps...nd if i eat after the workout..wudnt i be just puttin on the calories i burnt off?..

it is really confusing me and i would really appreciate your opinions..whatever they are..of course itl be good if u give me a source too =)

thank you all very much ~

Is Insanity of P90x better for weightloss?

If your focus is weight loss definitely go with Insanity! I've done both programs. P90x is more focused on toning and strength. It's a 90 day program. Insanity is more focused on cardio and it's only a 60 day program. After 30 days with Insanity I really started noticing a difference as far as weight loss. I began losing some of the thickness off my thighs and around my mid section.

The key to getting results from Insanity is consistency. The workouts are intense. You're going to have the urge to skip portions of the video because you're feeling winded. Don't do it! If you have to take a break (and you will) pause the DVD. Once you catch your breath press play and continue.

When I first started with Insanity I could barely get through the "warm-ups" without taking a break but I stuck with it. Join teambeachbody (it's free...http://www.fultonsoffitness.com) and connect with a work-out buddy that's doing the same program and who is on the same schedule as you. Also, the person you purchase your program from will become your coach. He/she will be responsible for motivating and supporting you in your weight loss goals.

Am I burning my muscle doing insanity in evening and weight training in the morning?

I don’t know if you would be ‘burning muscle’ as it all depends on your current bodyfat percentage. Your body will only use (burn) muscle as an energy source in the absence of any body fat. That is why maintaining a healthy body fat percentage is important.STOP!You’re doing WAY too much to your poor body. The ONE thing you MUST concentrate on here IS your diet.Throwing more exercise into the mix is NOT THE ANSWER.You wont be giving your muscles any chance to repair and grow. Not good!Think of it like putting dirty petrol into your car. It WON’T perform. And simply DRIVING it HARDER is not going to fix the dirty fuel problem if you’re still putting crap fuel in to it. In fact it will actually make it worse and damage the engine. This is the same for your body. Your body IS the engine, and food is the FUEL (calories). Its’ as basic as that.If you are not prepared to work on your diet and figure out what the best mix of protein, fats and carbs are required to achieve your desired ripped look, then all the exercise in the world won’t help. You use a lot less calories exercising than you think. The general effect of most exercise actually makes you hungry, so you end up consuming even MORE calories than you actually used. The last thing you want to do is stimulate your hunger even more with adding insanity into your day ON TOP of your morning sessions. You only actually need to do vigorous style exercise 3 or 4 times a week if you are doing it at the right intensity. Your body needs time to recover and needs good fuel put into it to help recover. So if you simply MUST exercise each day, then choose one or the other to do, NOT both. Alternate between then to give you variety and maintain interest. I personally still think that you should not do vigorous exercise more than 4 times per week.In fact recent studies have shown that super HIIT training will burn fat for a couple of days afterwards, and only requires about 8 minutes of total hard core 100% effort.

How effective is Insanity Max 30 compared to the original Insanity?

So far everyone who has answered the question has not looked at the work levels only the time. I am an Insanity Instructor through the Beachbody program and have been doing these workouts for a while now. What you really have to look at is the amount of work you are doing. Let me explain by comparing the work you do in each workout. In the Original Insanity this was the work you did:Warm up 10.5 minutes (7 exercises, each 30seconds long, three times)Stretch - no workRound 1 (2mins work, 30seconds rest x2, final set of 3minutes work 30seconds rest) Total work 7 minutesRound 2 (2mins work, 30seconds rest x2, final set of 4 minutes work) Total work 8 minutesTotal Work = 10.5 + 7 + 8 = 25 Minutes 30 seconds of work. (Completed in 45 minutes)Insanity Max:30Warm up: (5 exercises 30 seconds each, done twice) 5 Minutes5 Rounds ( Each round is 4 mins 30 secs work, with 30 secs rest)Total Work = 5 +(5x4.5) = 27 minutes 30 seconds work (completed in 30 minutes)SummarySo as you can see you do more work in less time doing Insanity Max:30Original Insanity: 25.5 Minutes work inside of 45 minutesInsanity Max:30: 27.5 Minutes work inside 30 minutes ←Harder

Lose 50 lbs with insanity?

As someone who is doing Shaun T's INSANITY workout right now, I can tell you that it is very difficult. I'm 6 feet, 160 pounds, male, finished P90x, and in good shape. Its still very hard, even for me.

If you CAN do the moves, and stick with the program, and diet properly, you will lose weight and get into much better shape: That much is guaranteed. However, I'm worried you won't be able to keep up with it.

What I can tell you for sure is this:
- Insanity DOES work. If you diet properly and really push yourself, you will get into shape.
- The workout is insanely hard. Unless you're already familiar with exercise and intense cardio, you will not be able to complete it. Form is very important, and you might be too tired to keep up.

If you want my advice, I'd say you should do something else. You're much shorter than me, a girl, and heavier than me... And if I feel like dying after wards, I can only imagine you won't be able to finish even the Fit Test. Start with something smaller

OR, prove me wrong. Im just being honest with you. Either way, I applaud you for wanting to get into shape, I just don't think this is the right option.

How long does it take before you start to see results with Insanity?

I was eating around 1600 cals at 5'7, female, was probably around 150-160 pounds when I started. I wasn't even following the workout schedule, just doing one of the workouts every second day and on the other day walking for 30 mins- 1hr. Within a month there was a huge difference that all my friends really noticed and commented on. Don't know how much weight I lost because I wasn't weighing myself but I really shrank in my thighs, hips, stomach. A lot of that was fat turning to muscle and general toning up. I gained a LOT of muscle. However as with most people eating a calorie deficit like that was a disaster in the long run and didn't last. Gave up the calorie counting and now I'm healthy and in great shape from intuitively eating a whole foods plant based diet and getting lots of exercise. Still love Shaun T and do Insanity sometimes as well as other HIIT workouts, weights and strength training, running, walking, occasional Pilates, swimming and Vinyasa yoga. Good luck with your fitness goals!

Does Insanity or Focus T25 build muscles/strength?

When you buy Insanity, you'll get a calendar with the workouts scheduled for each day. It'll cover 9 weeks of workouts which is 2 months of workouts separated by a 1 week recovery week. On the 1st day of the 1st and 3rd week of each month you'll do a fit test and you'll record your results on the calendar. Each time you do a fit test, assuming you're not an absolutely useless piece of shit, you WILL see an increase in your results. Greater effort will yield better results of course. The first time I did Insanity, I was very lazy and I did not keep up with everything Shaun T was doing. I would take water breaks even when he wasn't and I would rest WAY more than what than they did in the videos. I admit, I even kind of skipped parts just because it was that hard for me. Even though I did this, I wasn't a completely a useless piece of shit, I stuck with it and my fit tests improved each time.  This motivated me to stick with it and my results skyrocketed towards the end. With this in mind, I cannot possibly believe someone can do Insanity without improving on the fit test. I was a pretty shitty candidate to begin with but I still got results. The improvement on the fit test throughout the program is a pretty accurate measurement of your strength increasing IMO. There are no scientific measurements, I'm just using common sense. I also completed T25 but I don't recall doing any form of measurable fit test with it. I started doing T25 as a maintenance sort of thing. Insanity is more of the game changer, IMO. However, there are a lot of similarities in the program and as long as you're consistent, you will undoubtedly grow muscles over the course of the program.Lastly, both of the programs are cardio oriented and if you're goals are solely to gain muscle mass, you might want to look at a more resistance oriented program (i.e.: P90X, Body Beast).  If you're fairly inactive, T25 and Insanity will undoubtedly allow gains, but not as much as resistance oriented programs.
