Is It Confidence More So Than Strength And Agility That Will Win A Fight

Fighting? Strength over agility and thinking?

definately a fast smart person who is skilled at martial arts becasue a strong guy with no expertise in fighting would just swing his arms about, hoping that they would hit the target, they have no style or no skill and they let rage become the better of them. A martial artist would be fast getting in and out without the opponent being able to block it, like Bruce Lee said, you must not telegraph your moves because this is what helps the opponent with. what does a street fighter who believes in strength know about telegraphing moves?? a martial artist would also not wave his arms and swing like mad trying to hit the opponent but block a few ppunches maybe, try to work out his weaknesses, they think it through, staying calm. A guy could be 6ft4 and another could be 5ft8...if the 5ft8 guy knows how to fight and is fast and powerfull he can beat the tall guy easily, when it comes to fighting strength and height have nothing to do with it, its all about the power, speed and adaptation

In a fight, which is more important, mental strength or physical strength?

mental strength, the courage to live according to your values and the wisdom and intellect to be bold against life scenarios and winning the hell out of them.let us consider a cinematic example,a show potraying Sherlock Holmes, the epitome of mental abilities. He posesses something some very skilled american assassins are chasing, he reaches his place and observes suspicious things.Comes to a conclusion that his much beloved Mrs. hudson’s safety has been compromised.Enters the room occupied by american friends and a terrified Mrs. Hudson (we’ll get back to this soon.)dialouge :Sherlock- Don't snivel, Mrs Hudson,it'll do nothing to impedethe flight of a bullet. He maintains his calm , starts observing .So this visitor here have not behaved well with the woman who always asks sherlock if he wants some tea, though reminding him she’s not his housekeeper.about to suffer for their owner’s actions. Our antagonist here is quite confident of over powering this pale man due to which our protagonist is going to do the same.Because why carry a gun when a bottle of pepper spray would suffice.Later that day.And now, the point is,Moral of the story, in the extreme world of today, where very few are the exception of being a hercules, I believe mental strength is often overpowering over physical strength. The ability to keep your calm, think rationally, being confident and prioritising are often the reason behind major wins in fights and successes in life.Source: Sherlock[1]Footnotes[1] sherlock - Google Search

Silverback Gorilla Vs. 20 Strongman... Who would win?

First of all, 20 strongmen would get in each other's way if they all tried to pile on a gorilla at the same time. Secondly, once the strongmen discovered that a pile on was ineffective, they would all be at the mercy of the gorilla. One thing you have to understand is that the gorilla has teeth and claws in addition to having extremely powerful fingers, hands, arms, shoulders, and chest muscles. Each one of those strongmen would be in a world of pain as they endured permanent, possibly fatal injuries from the gorilla responding to a real threat. A panicked gorilla is far more fierce than a playful gorilla who would badly injure a strongman through regular gorilla play. The gorilla has such a significant amount of size, muscle and bone density, strength, speed, and agility, and primal ferocity that 20 strongmen would be 20 blood stains on the ground after tangling with a silverback or any other kind of gorilla.

I can just invision these men screaming out in pain as their fingers and hands get bitten and ripped off. The other thing to consider is that the 16 or so strongmen who are not immediately injured are going to lose their confidence amidst the screams and gore coming from the initial few strongmen who made the mistake of closing in on the gorilla. It's human psychology. You will not advance on a very credible threat where other people around you are getting badly injured or killed. The same thing happens with police officers in a shoot out or soldiers on a battlefield. When fight-or-flight sets in, you are not going to advance in the direction of a very real threat that your mind knows you cannot effectively handle. Your nervous system will compel you to get the Hell away from the threat.

Taurus vs gemini fist fight female vs female?

To answer your question. A Taurus would win, they are tough O.O

But, here are some some fighting techniques, here's an easy trick. All you gotta do is warm her up with smack talk. Then YANK her hair back and just start punching her face as much times. Another trick is to push her down, and step on her stomach. Then yank her up by her hair and smack her xD and continue beating her lol.
Another trick; this is dangerous, it can cause her to get a broken arm or a broken back or a broken arm and back. So maybe I'm not telling you that one lol. So yeah, good luck!!! :)
I'm Aquarius by the way... If that matters -.-

IF you are one of those guys who thinks its the fighter and not the martial art, read on...?

So do u also fink its the fighter not the style?
Well then you are wrong and right...
I mean yes it is the guy who is fighting BUT what are they using? I mean the STYLE/ MARTIAL ART is what they are actually using...

Now do you disagree with me? Maybe, maybe not... But then let's say, 2 standup fighters, one is a boxer and the other is a fighter who has trained in a martial art where there is eye striking, chocking, elbows, knees, kicks, pressure points, and it is all in one martial art! They both have trained for equal amount of years, 8 years let's say...

You are betting for one of them, if you win the bet you are free, if you lose the bet, your life is also taken. Who would you bet for? Obviously NOT the boxer...

Now do you people mean what others are trying to ask you, when they ask you the question, what martial art is the best or watever... Martialarts is about 80% what it is in a fight...but obviously its up to us how to use it...

Now back to that imaginery story... Fights can also be about luck... Maybe the boxers hook can knock him out.... But anyways we all get and idea of what I'm saying... Also these two fighters can have the same stamina, strenght, flexability, reflexes and so on... Its the art.

So do you still think the same,?? Answer below and give me all your opinions... And kokoro, don't try to act smart like you always do...

Oh and also write your background martial art...

My daughter is very small and light for her age but she wants to start Judo, will her height and weight put her at a big disadvantage?

No matter how people sugarcoat it, lack of weight, strength, and reach will always be disadvantages in almost every combat situation. The key is to overcome them via superior technique and timing, which is of course achieved by training in martial arts.In short yes of course being small and light are disadvantages in Judo, but that is just even more of a reason to train Judo.I hear BJJ being recommended a lot, which is also good. BJJ and Judo happen to be two relatively safe martial arts that actually allow kids to play-fight/spar. They will actually see what they can and cannot do against resisting opponents via applied science. In other words, your kid is probably going to get a lot more real self-defense skills from BJJ or Judo than a striking style like muay thai, karate or kung fu. Although, if she grows older and is still interested, such striking arts can also be quite educational as long as she finds a gym that allows and encourages sparring.BJJ is focused almost entirely on ground fighting. Some gyms teach self-defense takedowns but only as a cursory overview. Someone who trains BJJ for a year generally becomes skilled at coming out on top in a situation where they’re tangled with one other person on the ground, even if that person is bigger.Judo is roughly 70% stand-up and 30% ground-fighting. Someone who trains Judo for a year generally develops very good sense of balance and near-immunity to getting taken down, as well as a fair chance of taking down an opponent bigger than them (although, these days, wrestling might actually be better than Judo if you have to choose one, since Judo banned leg-grabbing takedowns in 2010 so students won’t train against these). But Judo is definitely the “slicker” of the two; it has more techniques that are sly and tricky and can work with virtually no strength at all, whereas wrestling is more about using technique to put yourself in a position where you can leverage your own strength more effectively.Someone claimed Judo is less realistic because it allows a pinning victory instead of a submission victory. That’s a non-issue. If you’re pinning someone you have total control; you can put pressure on their face or tell them to stop bothering you or you’ll punch them, etc.

Are army men strong compared to martial artist or boxers or body builders?

stick a martial artist/body builder/boxer in the field to do army stuff and the army man will beat every one of em. stick an army man in a ring/dojo/weight room to do what a boxer/martial artist/body builder do and the army man will get beat.
