Is It Ever Acceptable To Forge A Parental Signature

How to forge my parents signature?

Trust me, it's not hard at all. At one point or another, your parents will sign something, whether it's a bill, letter, or progress report/ report card for school. We get progress reports all the time so we can be updated on our grades at our school, and usually our parents have to sign it. Well, sometimes i forget to show it to them. So i just pull out one of the progress reports previously signed by them that the teacher checked and put the new paper over top and trace over in pencil lightly. then go over it in pen. don't be nervous or your hand will get shaky. if you feel it's too hard to forge, get out scrap paper and practice their signature until you think you have it down.

Don't worry, it's not like you're doing anything wrong, technically , but atleat you're doing it for the right reason.

Should I forge my parent's signature?

I got an F on my history test, and unfortunately the only way to remake the test is to GET a parents signature!!! I want to redo the test because i got such a bad grade from before!!!

I'm scared of showing my parents my grade, because they'll yell at me and take away my stuff!!! Plus, I know my mom will be really disappointed in me!!! ):

Is it illegal to forge your parents signature?

It is illegal to forge a signature but, worse if you do it for personal gain. It falls under the same category as identity theft. Usually you can be fined for 500 dollars or 12 weeks in jail. Seeing as you're a minor though you will probably have to pay 50 and then go to a juvenile camp for about 8 weeks.

Is it ever justified to forge your parent's signature?

Is it 100% wrong to forge a parents signature no matter what?
I am 15 and a sophomore in high school in Mississippi. We have year round schooling in my district. I am (for context, not to brag) a good kid--never in trouble, on the honor roll, a class officer, play soccer, homecoming court etc etc. One of my best friends was really struggling with math, so today I helped her cheat on a test. I have never done anything like this before, and feel quite bad about it. I also should be clear that I, myself, did not cheat (I helped her cheat).

We got caught and both got 0's on the test. My teacher also sent me home with a corporal punishment consent form. My mom is NOT a super traditonal, conservative parent.....BUT she is really really big on supporting the school, and has always been clear that if I ever were to get in trouble and I knew the rules ahead of time, I would have noone but myself to blame and she would back the school up. Rather or not ya'll agree with her (beside the point) I know she will/would sign the form. Meanwhile, I TRULY already feel bad for what I did, and I really really really don't want to be paddled (I'm a total wimp about pain and have never been in big trouble at school).

What I'm asking is, would it be HORRIBLE of me to sign her name to the form (checking no instead of yes), take my two detentions instead of the paddling, learn my lesson, and move on? If I was a bad kid who gets in trouble I'd say that the consequences I knew about based on school rules of cheating need to happen, but I've never even had detention---I already feel bad about what I did. So what is the point of being embarrased and (more importantly) getting a paddling??

Is it illegal for a parent to forge their child’s signature?

Generally speaking no. With limited exceptions, a minor child cannot legally sign anything. While there are instances where a child will sign forms (and a few instances in which a minor can legally consent to things like mental health care or reproductive medical care) in general, those signatures are not legally binding and in the instance of legally binding documents, a parent almost always needs to sign as well.

Have you ever forged a signature?

Well…I wouldn’t say forged. When I was in 3rd or 4th grade and my Spanish teacher wrote some rules on the board, ok fine. I wrote them in my Spanish “notebook”. But then he just had to make it a tiny bit harder for us 8 or 9 year olds. He said “get this page signed by your parents by tonight, or else you will not get any playtime”. *Sigh* fine, I thought, no problem.I get home and even fricking remember. Get in the bus and my best friend says “did you get your notebook signed?”. Freaking heck, “uhh…no…”, “ha you’re gonna get no playtime.” Then the most brilliant idea came to my mind and to my bff I said “do you have any scissors?”, “uh, yah”. I flipped back through my book and found a page my mother had already signed. I took her scissors and cut it out. “How about glue?”. She reaches into her bag “here” handing me the glue. I then proceeded to glue it into my book where my mom was supposed to sign the night before. My friend is now over here probably thinking, ‘now how in the world does she think she is gonna get away with that, my friend is insane’.I walk into class nervous as ever. Now my teacher is looking at people’s books, “no recess…..mmhmm….uhuh….no recess” then he gets to my book and this conversation happens, him “why is it on a different paper that has been glued onto your paper?” “Uh, because my mom accidentally wrote it on a different paper because I wasn’t looking when I set it down on the table and I had just realized when I was in the bus, so I glued it onto the right page…yeah.”AND HE BELIEVED ME!!!Ha.One point for me.Zero points for him.Boosh.

Can I forge my parent's signature to get a tattoo at age 16?

I was reading some of the questions on here and all the answers added up to getting a permission slip for a tattoo from my parents. Well... I KNOW that they won't let me get one, but I want a tattoo that reminds me of my best friend who died 2 years ago. I wouldn't get sick of it because its to remember her. So would the tattoo guy like, call my parents and ask them if the signature was real? Or would he just take the forged signature? And also, if anybody knows anything else that i need to know about this, PLEASE DO share it with me.
THANKS!

Should i lie about forging my parents signature?

Ok so im in middle school. We had a report card and i ended up failing one of the classes and we needed parent signatures on them.!So i decided to forge it since my parents were very strict. This is my first time forging so i started to practice my fathers signature on a piece of paper. So after i forged it it turns out i needed to staple the report card with a survey for parents. It was really late and i was tired and somehow i ended up stapling the report card, survey,AND the practice paper i did for signatures all together! My teacher found out and since i was in a different class he asked my friend if he thought it was forged and he gave no reply. My friend told me im screwed and now my teacher knows i forged.!IM usually a striaght A student and failed a big exam and im only in middle school.I only did it once and i felt like crap doing it.I have a plan now,if i tell my parents to sign a paper that says theyve seen my grades which i will show them right now and then give it to my teacher will he let my suspected forgery slide? Also if this plan backfires somehow whats gonna happen??

Is it technically illegal for a child to forge their parent's signature?

I read all the answers and all I have to say is “Lighten up”. LOL How many kids (badly) forged their parents signature on their report card? They’ve been doing that since report cards were invented. Not one ever went to jail or a work camp. Now … if you take out a loan (you’d HAVE to be an adult to do that) under your parent’s name, that would have some ramifications if you defaulted on the loan. Regardless of their relation to you, you’re committing fraud, and that has a legal punishment when you get caught by your parents when they check their credit scores on one of the 3 credit reporting companies.I hope you asked the question for someone else who had actually done it.
