Are your homeschooled kids missing out?

Why do my parents make me do my homework over the summer?
Ok, so I am asian/american, and I got out of school a week ago to summer break. My parents, espically my mom are very, very, very,very, very,very strict. They gave me homework over the summer. They give me at least 8 pages which takes me a very long time to finish. most of the homework is easy and teaches me nothing at all, and i already know it. even though i have straight a's the whole year they still want me to do homework along with piano lessons, piano practice, guitar, swimming, tennis, karate (my karate is VERY hard) and chores which takes up a lot of time. if i ask why i have to do homework, they get angry and say "so that your mind will be focused onto something else" (i usually play video games/ computer all day). and she took away my laptop too. me and her had many conflicts and we argued many times.i don't think it's fair because all the other american kids are having more fun, and i just want my freedom in summer break to have fun. I've been doing this crap since i was in 2nd grade. How do i convince my parents to stop giving me homework?!
My parents want to send me to boarding school!?
Why? I have B's. No matter what I say they don't want to get in their head that B's are good grades. At one point in the year I had all A's but I was never an A student and school has always been a huge strain on me. I've heard terrible stories of boarding school and it seems like hell. No guitar, no ipod, no laptop. Urgh. And a sh'itty *** room mate! Also they say it's my behaivor. I know I can be a huge c'unt here but in real life I do what they tell me. My dad thinks i'm a disrespectful, rude child because i'm always in my room and I don't want to go out on walks with him (and listen to him rant about how good george bush is and how his neighbors are communists...for having a Prius) He makes fun of people for having certain bikes and it's really annoying. I a very introvert person and I have to hide my whole life from him. I'm bi he's a homophobe. I'm an anarchist and he's a devote republican. He wants me to be social and go out and skate board every day. i don't want friends! He doesn't get that. He punishes me for not changing my underwear the same time he tells me to (i change after I take a shower at my moms so I forget to change it when he says) He calls me EVERYDAY with the same questions and it's very very annoying. He expects me to enjoy it after I TOLD HIM I HATE getting calls every day about if I'm getting A's. And he said "I DON'T CARE! IF I DON'T CALL YOU, YOU WILL BE A LOSER CHILD" I know this is more of a rant about how much I hate him but please what do I do? He's so strict and whatever I do is bad in his eyes. He wakes me up at 8 in the morning on weekends to eat breakfast and then we walk the dog and walk somewhere (more rants) and then it's lunch then I go use the computer and he opens the door like 50 times to see what i'm doing. I really don't want to go to boarding school. I didn't say much about my mom because it was his idea.
What is the schedule of high school students that are taking a large amount of AP courses?
In my 11th grade year, I took the following courses:AP Environmental ScienceAP Calculus ABAP US Government/AP Comparative Politics (both were one semester classes)Law Studies/AP Macroeconomics (both were one semester classes)AP US HistoryAnatomy and Physiology HonorsLatin III HonorsIn addition to this, I took 9 credits of dual enrollment at my local community college in fall, and again in spring and summer terms. I also had two full year virtual school honors courses at the same time. I worked twice a week at a fast food restaurant (5:00-10:00pm on a weeknight was my shift), and was the president of 5 different clubs at my high school. Saturday and Sunday mornings were spent at dance practice (for Indian dance), and evenings were usually spent at social gatherings. I made sure to designate set study times (minimum 2 hours, with one 10 min break) every day after school and on the weekend, but I also made sure to never waste a free moment in class, with quick flashcards review for vocab or a chance to reread a chapter summary.Apart from that, I tried to live a normal life. I made sure that I got approximately 8 hours of sleep every night. I never skipped meals, and tried to exercise twice a week after school (when possible). I never thought that I had a "stressful" or "impossible" schedule because I was able to keep my eye on the end goal that I had in mind.
How much should i be getting paid for babysitting for 10 hours a day?
ok, i've know this lady for awhile and just about every summer she asks me or one of my sisters to watch one of her kids. The girl that i watch is 8 years old. I start at 6 in the morning and end at 4:30. I do this every day almost all summer.The only problem i have with the lady is that she never pays me on time. Plus she just gives me whatever she thinks i should get. And that's usually $60 a week for 10 hours a day. And i makes me mad because there is this other babysitter that she used to go to that charged like $25 a day. But then she sort of took advantage of me by having me babysit for her. So now this way she decides on how much i get paid. I don't know what to do. Should i tell the her that i think she's under paying me or should i just tell her that i want her to pay me $15 a day? Help!!
