Is It Going To Be Hard For Me To Get A Job Because Of My Past Job

How hard is it to get a job at Starbucks?

It's very hard to get a job with Starbucks. I applied to work for the Starbucks near me for the holiday season a couple years ago. They were hiring and I spoke to managment when I applied for the job. to make a long story short, I was garanteed an interview than they rejected me. Soon after, I found-out that they interviewd/hired a high school drop-out over me. If he/she droped-out of high school what's the chances of him/her droping-out of the job? Anyways I have experience working with food and drinks. Even though I have experience they still rejected me. It doesn't matter how clean, well-dressed, and presentable you are, Starbucks doesn't care for there job applicants and customers.

I've never walked into a Starbucks without getting an attitude by the employees. I know alot of Starbucks haters, and I've gotten in some interesting conversations about how Starbucks treats people. Anyways, I would avoid Starbucks, I'm a college student and in one of my classes a couple weeks ago, the prof. and a couple students were talking about how Starbucks is going out of business.

How hard is it to get a job at Sprint?

Is it hard to find a job after you get gauges? ?

Your parents just don't want you to do it. Anything smaller than around a 0 gauge will usually close back up within a few months depending on how long you leave it out and how long you had them gauged for. I had mine at 7/8" and they shrank down to a 6g within one month, but stopped shrinking there. So you should tell your parents that it's not exactly a life decision, as long as you don't go too big.

To answer your question though, I never had any trouble.

To hide them, there's tons of jewelry that just looks like big earrings. Or you could wear your hair down.

But who says you have to get your parents' permission? Be a badass and just do it.

Is it hard to get a job as a flight attendant?

Airlines receive lots of applications for flight attendants because many people think if they are a flight attendant, they can go and travel the world. However airlines have cut back on the number of flights so the competition is that much more.

Airlines do look for someone with extensive customer service experience. That way you know how to handle different types of passengers. Also having work experience where you have opportunities to work with other people is important because as a flight attendant, you may be working with other flight attendants (unless you are on 50 seat regional jet where you are the only flight attendant).

Being able to speak effectively and clearly is also important because you have to give safety instructions and in case there is an emergency, your voice will need to be strong and clear so everyone can hear and understand what you are saying.

Getting a minimum wage job...?

Another thing you might try is going thru an agency. A lot of times businesses will hire exclusively thru the agency. Also, agencies can help train you. I love Randstad...I could sit there for hours and learn computer software and work on my ten key or typing/keyboarding. Just cuz you are a guy doesn't mean you can't work in an office. If you know your ABC's it is not that hard to file. Plus agencies have good contacts in factory and construction companies. If you show a real desire to work, are relatively clean cut, and care to be on time...someone is going to hire you! I hired and fired for an accounting department and we were always looking for a young worker that wanted a break that was willing to learn and work filing and what not! Usually the fees are paid by the company that uses you and after 90 days, if they want and they offer a "temp to perm" job you get hired! It is a great way to go...good luck! :-)
