What is the legal age in the Philippines to buy a condom?

The legal age to buy a condom in the Philippines is 18, and condoms come in lots of different shapes and sizes, with features like ribs, non spermicide, or 'contains' spermicide' etc.
The big problem there is the catholic bishop cannot pull his head out of his butt and stop interfering with the governments push to make condoms available.
Just because the catholic bishop is so narrow minded and thinks if he riles the population behind the church, and the church opposes condoms, he will control the young kids having sex.
If the kids under 18 cannot buy condoms, they are going to have sex anyway, and risk teen pregnancies, spreading STD's and HIV.
This interference of the church of Rome in a place where it has no business, is endangering the lives of the youth in the Philippines.
It is time to end the influence of a meddling bishop, and make condoms available to the youths at any age,.....because they are going to have sex regardless.

Why are there so many single moms in Philippines?

Yes, there are many single moms in philippines because:Most Filipino men and women can't love and stay with one person forever. Their feelings change after few months or years.2. They lack sex education. So they have sex starting from age of 11 years. They are already single moms in their teenage life while they are just a high school student.3. Even though Prostitution is illegal in Philippines, there are still lots of Prostitutes there. Many of the foreigners especially American and Australians come to Philippines as sex tourist. That's why many filipino kids are half filipino half Foreigner.4. Some filipinas were raped which is why they are single moms. There's incest also taking place like having forceful sex with family member.5. Some filipinas are having sex with their friends just for fun or pleasure. You will find lots of perverts there.6. Some filipino men are irresponsible. So they leave her girlfriend after becoming father.7. Some filipinas are widows which is also the reason for being single mom.8. Many filipinas leave their poor filipino boyfriend and start finding rich Foreigner just because of richness to get money to take care of their entire family. Many are cheaters and fraud too that even when they have filipino boyfriend, they still look for Foreigner to get his money or/and for fun.9. Many filipino men and women are cheaters. So when their cheating is caught, their partner leaves.Usually filipinas don't admit their mistakes. They always blame filipino men or their ex for the reason of being single mom. This is to show Foreigners that they're innocent and best life partner. Don't get fooled by them by trusting on this sweet things that they say about themselves. It's just to attract Foreigners. A few of them maybe true to what they say but the majority of them lie. They expect their boyfriend to keep the promises while she herself is not serious enough to keep it. They quickly ask for breakup if their Bf makes mistakes but she expects herself to be forgiven for even bigger mistake than he did. They are good at making dramas, so don't trust it especially if they ask for money.

How old do you have to be to buy condoms in North Carolina?

There's no age limit for buying condoms.

Why is it legal for minors to buy condoms, but not sex?

One Main reason is that not every state has the same laws on age of consent...
The Age of consent in Califorinia is 18 so two minors say age 16 having sex with each other is illegal.
However in 34 states in the US the age of consent is 16 years old and in a few states in the US the age of consent is 15 years old and in 2 states Hawaii & Idaho the age of consent is 14 years old.

So since in many states two minors under age 18 can have sex thats why there are no age restrictions on the purchase of condoms.

Police do not check on minors having sex unless a complaint is filed by either the minor or the minors parents/legal guardian or the minor/s in question are caught having sex by the police such as being caught having sex in a parked car or out in a area accessible to the public.

No age restrictions on condoms is also to protect the general safety of the public because the government knows that minors will still have sex regardless of the laws in place so there is no reason to deny them the ability to protect themselves from STD's.

It is also far cheaper to allow minors access to birthcontrol such as condoms since they are going to have sex anyway than it is for the State/Government to have another unwanted child on welfare or have the mother in an abortion clinic.

Is it illegal to buy condoms/have sex in California under 18?

I've been reading various websites about these two things, and I keep getting mixed answers. Me and my boyfriend wanted to get some protection, just so we could be safe. I know that the age of consent is generally 18, but does that mean you have to be 18 to buy condoms? I'm not giving out my age, but I will say I'm under 18 (No i'm not some like 15 year old girl who doesn't know what she's talking about). And also, if it isn't illegal to purchase them, why isn't it? How come you can buy them when you're not even allowed to use them yet?

My second question, like I was saying, I know the age consent is generally 18 (and is 18 in California), but why do they not enforce this law, or do they? I have never even heard of it being illegal until just recently, and it's confusing me. I have many friends who have had sex and some are younger than I am. I have never heard from anyone that sex is illegal until you reach a certain age. Why exactly is it illegal, and what are the charges for having sex underage? I have personally not had sex yet, this is just information that I would like to know because I have never heard about it.

Do you have to be 16 to buy condoms in the UK?

There are no laws about buying condoms[1] and if there were, it’s extremely unlikely that they would ever be enforced. I’ve never been asked for ID to prove my age when buying condoms, and I’ve never heard of anyone else being asked to do so.The UK (and Europe in general) tends to be less prudish about teen sex than, say, America. While the age of consent is 16, and underage sex is technically illegal, I’d expect most pharmacists and shopkeepers - if they have an opinion on your sex life at all - to just be thankful that you’re using contraception.Condoms can be expensive, though, and I’d recommend going to your local sexual health clinic (GU or GUM clinic) to get free ones, in addition to buying some. The clinic will see you without a parent (lots run dedicated teen sessions) and it’s all free and confidential.Footnotes[1] Condoms: myths and facts

What are the issues in the Philippines?

Religion. Don’t take it personally but it is a problem. For the most part of Philipine history, the clergy was always a powerful political entity in the country. Were there any Muslim or Atheist presidents in the Philippines? Of course not because it’s highly unlikely as to how small their population here. But that’s not the problem. The problem is that the Church has the ability to somewhat veto a law through the use of mass protest utilizing Catholic zealots. A lot of Filipinos actually opposed to give gay people equal rights and they opposed also the use of contraceptives and abortion. The argument “the use of contraceptives (including condoms) is murder” is utter crap. They should protest to the millions of young men who enjoy masturbation and who probably killed millions of potential children. The same goes with married couple who had sex to have children (only one sperm does it out of the countless others).Worst is that the Church are more immune to the law. A Catholic priest was once reported to be a pedophile but he was just relocated. Clergymen pedophilia is still rampant.Education. Though we can teach children how to read and write, we didn’t teach children good and really nurture them to be powerful drivers of the economy like. The number of children in your typical public school and private school is 35–40 children. It’s bad because it’s warehousing and the class room is filled to the brim until some student has to be seated outside. A teacher doesn’t pay attention to each child because there are so many! The textbooks are constantly “revised” every two years and, instead of just inheriting a textbook, you have to buy a new set. How many are the subjects they have in our schools? 9 or 10, it depends. So you have to buy nine books to have a proper education. But the subject called “religion” grinds my gears real badly. They don’t teach other religion in “religion”, they teach Roman Catholicsm. Again, this is connected with my first problem in the Philippines.Institutions. They are corrupt.Infrastructure. They are kind of improving as the president dedicates in building, building, and building; but the cities lack proper planning and the telecommunications is crap. The government never dedicated much to urban planning and it is seen when the Burnham Plan for Manila was thrown away. The kind of wi-fi you’ll experience in the Philippines is the worst Asia might give.
