Bree...thanks for the input , but thats already been done. His old unit doesnt want anything to deal with his stuff. Once they hear his last name they say sorry, he's no longer in the army or with this unit so we cant help you have a great day bye. I personally called his 1st SGT last month and spoke with her.She directed me to CIF/CFI whatever way it goes and on the phone it sounded like that had no clue what I was talking about, b/c they looked up his SSN and saw he brought everything in but I told them...uh no he didnt he just brought in what you told him to. but thank you all for the input...the stuff with the serial numbers i'll bring back to the military but the rest like clothes wise, acu's,bdu's,goretex stuff etc I'll sell for cheap since it is used but in good/fair contd.

A couple months ago I tried selling official band merch (tee shirts and bracelets) outside of a venue the night of where that same band's concert was going to be taken place in. My plan was to sell the tee shirts and bracelets to people in line for a very reasonable price. Mind you, these were ALL official older and newer band merch that I had bought with my own money all for full price. They were all in super good condition. I didn't have much, I had about 15 bracelets and 15 tee shirts. And a security guard came out and immediately stopped me saying what I was doing was illegal and I can be arrested for doing that. The security guard was NOT a security guard for the venue but for the actual band itself. I wouldn't even call him an actually security guard but more so a body guard for the band. Was what I was doing actually illegal? Couldn't I have just taken my band merchandise across the street and sell them from there? It was about 30 items total that I had, considering there was 200+ people waiting in line, that 30 items would have gone fast. So it would have not taken long to sell my stuff. Can I do it next time the band comes to town but more "secretive" and can I ACTUALLY get arrested for selling OFFICIAL band merchandise that I own on the public sidewalk for a VERY reasonable price? Can I really legitimately get arrested?

It depends of what items you want to sell. If it is a restaurant about burgers, hotdogs, of course it is a rentable way because Mexicans love American restaurants. American food restaurants could be a good choice establish them in the capital (Mexico City), Guadalajara, Monterrey.However if you want to sell particular items as books, comics, bikes, outdoor items, processed food, I think it could be better if you establish your store in a town with foreign people like Polanco, Santa Fe, Condesa in Mexico City or in an American neighborhood like San Miguel de Allende (Guanajuato).In summary, if you think in a restaurant it may be good choice in any crowded town of the cities, but if you think in other items it must be settled down in a rich people town. The reason is because gross Mexico population is not allowed to waste their money buying particular American items, remember that due a bad political-government-economical system, most of Mexicans are not interested in collectable things because they not earn much.
What are the best things to buy in Mexico for sale in the US for huge profit as an individual (not a company)?
I live in TX right by the border. I want to go down to Mexico and come back with a load of something that I can sell in the US on EBay for a huge profit margin. I thought about gold, silver, etc. but precious metals don't gain value when you cross the border because they have a value that is the same internationally. So what would work? Gemstones? I don't know. I'm looking for something I can buy and turn around and sell really fast for a lot of money without risking breaking laws.

there is import tax and duty not sure how clothes are cheaper in america then brazil since most of them are not even made in america anymore. though if things are expensive in brazil it could very well be because of import taxes and duty rates in Canada we charge 17-18% duty +5-12% tax on clothes coming into Canada we have a deal with the USA so they are duty free if made there but for other countries a shirt made in china that cost $10 becomes $13 + shipping here. Why do mexicans have so many excuses?
Excuses-Excuses They are trying to justify their wrong behavior, funny God doesn't let you do that-and he is righteous. They can change their life in Mexico--harder but possible. Not the real poor here-they couldn't afford to come. We have poor here and they don't break the laws of Canada. Everyone has poor-Mexico is not on the super poor list-not even close. (read post ) Everyone feels sorry for poor-why should I help them and not the ones here first-and yes we cannot do both They can change their life there-not try to change ours here.

Straight to your doubt: it doesn't matter if "someone" cuts off the labels of "Made in China" from the products before they arrives to Mexico, for one reason: mexican customs authorities will verify and request to shipper all kind of information about the merchandise, including its origin and then, according to "mexican national legislation", customs authorities will hold the merchandise until it be properly and satisfactory labeled, where "Made in China" and/or "Hecho en China" must be displayed.
