Is It Illegal To Walk Directly Between Two Houses Front And Back Lawns Every Quickly

Is it illegal if your dog poops/pees on other peoples lawn?

*Is it illegal if your dog poops/pees on other peoples lawn as long as you pick it up?

today i was walking my dog and she pooped on someones lawn. ive been doing this for years
a second later, a lady comes screaming out of house yelling at me to never do that again..

i even had a plastic bag to pick her waste up. i always do

i mean doesnt everyone do this?

Can I park in front of my house if I have a fire hydrant on my lawn and the side walk is not paited any color?

Not if there is a fire hydrant on your lawn.

that fire hydrant is for the use of the fire department in case of a fire in your neighborhood.

If your car is parked in front of the fire hydrant the fire personnel cannot get to the fire hydrant when they need to.

You have given me a great idea though to prevent other people from parking in front of your house.

And that is to put a fake fire hydrant on your lawn so no body will park there.

When you want to park there just pick up the fake fire hydrant and put it in your garage.

However I do not recommend this. I am absolutely certain that someone has already thought of this and I am certain that there is a law against putting a fake fire hydrant on your front lawn..

Plus a fake fire hydrant could cost the fire department valuable time in responding to a fire if they were tricked by your fake fire hydrant and tried to hook up a hose to it.

Is it illegal to walk along a highway?

They may have honked because you are cute but not because it is illegal.

The interstate highways have laws against persons walking but most states have median restrictions to crosswalks and sidewalks for pedestrian traffic. If there isn't a sidewalk you are good to go.

Now if you are in the center of the road, this can be unlawful (pedestrian in the roadway), and I mean in the center of the driving lane.

It's illegal for a dog to pee on someones front yard?

This morning I was walking my dog while loading my car so he went and pee in the front yard of this house and I truly didn't even realized, then this lady came blasting insulting me saying that she didn't want dog sh/t in her property I said that I had a bag to pick up but she just went full throatle on me, on my way back she was still watching over her window giving me the finger so I gave it back to her (I just couldn't help it) and she went outside again this time with a knife and kept on yelling at me I said she better stop b/c she was treating me while holding a knife in her hands and she said it was b/c she was eating an apple, and that she knows all the cops on this town and she had my tags and will call them upon me. My tags are from another state since my mother lives in that state and I work in another.
By the way this wasn't at my neighborhood it was at my boyfriend place.

Legal question. walking dog on grass between street and sidewalk?

Well, actually the area is an easement in which the township's right of way is the dominant tenement and she is the servient tenement. Which means that it is her land and she must maintain it but people have the right to use it as a walkway.
However, (and this is coming from an advocate for dogs) I would try not to upset her. Only because she could cause you trouble down the road at some point. Say if your dog gets loose, or it is a pit bull type, or she wanted to get rid of it and claimed you left it out without water etc. Even tethering laws are cropping up in many areas because of the Animal Rights activists that really have the agenda of getting rid of companion animals because they are Vegan run Political Action Committees (PACs). Vegans do not like the keeping of pets because pets eat meat and they obviously do not use any animal products at all, even wool in clothing. Anyway they have given rise to a massive amount of false accusations and Nanny laws. So to be on the safe side I would try and avoid letting the dog go on the grass in front of her home between her side walk and the street. Also as we know urine does often kill grass leaving yellow areas which we really can't clean up after, however being that is probably not covered in the clean up ordinance she can't do much about it. The thing is she could make something else up, if she really wanted to cause you trouble.

Is it illegal to drink in your driveway at home, or can a cop give you a ticket for that?

In general, I try hard to read- and answer the actual written question. On this one however, I'll go out on a limb and read between the lines.Disclaimer: I'm not accusing the asking reader of doing anything illegal, I'm just approaching the general question from a different angle.Surprisingly many tickets for DUI - Driving Under the Influence (of alcohol or drugs) are given to people in their own driveway at home. How come that the police so often "patrol" in people's own driveways? They don't.What happens (probably not for the person asking this question on Quora, but quite often), is that the police are being tipped by a driver about a suspicious fellow driver in traffic. The tipper give a license plate number to the police. What can the police do?Initiate a large manhunt around the city?NoThey send a single patrol car to the private home of the owner of that given license plate. Eventually a car will arrive, the police will question the driver, and again- surprisingly often will be able to catch a DUI offender in his own driveway at home.I've met more than a few persons, who was arrested for DUI while they "only moved their car in the driveway at home and it's SO unfair! "Wiki-trivia: The first person to be arrested for drunk driving was one George Smith, a London taxi driver who ran his cab into a vehicle in 1897

Is it legal to walk on a median strip?

My friend and I do a yearly 30 mile urban hike from my house to a mall 15 miles away and back again. We follow the same road all the way down. It is a highway with two lanes going one way, two lanes going the opposite way, and a median strip through the middle.

We approached a wooded area, and there were no sidewalks. Not wanting to walk in muddy grass or get hit by cars, we decided to walk on the median strip. A Cook County sheriff police officer "pulled us over" (lights and all) and said "did you guys just take a piss on the corner of the road?" We said no, because we didn't. There were lots of other hikers that day. We take rest stops every hour at gas stations. He then asked us for ID, and I refused to give it to him, since we weren't being detained or suspected of committing a crime. He was fine with that. I then asked him if we were doing anything wrong, and he said no, just be careful. I suspect he didn't push the issue since my friend and I are both military.

I looked online and I could find no information on walking on the median. In the future, we'd like to take the same route, but we'd like to know if walking on a median strip is legal.

Can the postal carrier freely walk through my yard?

Itsounds as if the postal worker is a government employee. That type of B--- Sh-- is the type of thing they pull. they want top dollar for their job, but aren't willing to do their job properly.
I think you have three choices
First put an automatic sprinkler in that just covers enough ground that the postman must walk around.
or second File a small claims law suit against both the actual postal delivery guy and one against his superviser.
One other thing YES they do have the right to come to your door, But not they can't make their own path.
STAND YOUR GROUND
Third (and the correct action) everybody has a boss, the delivery guy has a supervisor. The superviser has a boss, and the boss has a boss. Contact each in one after the other, Hand them each a letter stating your problem and a stating that you have asked to have this problem solved.
One of two things will happen. The problem will be solved very quickly or you will end up sending a letter to Bush. I'll bet once the superviser learns your going to go over his or her head it will be solved immediately

Neighbors parking in front of my house?

I just moved in about a month ago. Apparently the neighbors had basically taken over while the house was vacant. Their dogs use my lawn, right in my walking path, as a toilet, and when I first moved in, the neighbors were still parking their cars in my driveway. They at least don't park in my driveway anymore, but they do park directly in front of my house, not blocking my driveway, but blocking my mailbox. This wouldn't piss me off so much if it weren't for the fact that there is plenty of room in front of their own damn house to park, they make it a point to park in front of mine. I guess they don't want to block their mailbox, but who cares about mine, right? I'm really not wanting to start fighting with the neighbors since I JUST moved in, but this crap needs to stop. Part of me wants to park my car in front of their mailbox and see how they like it. Also I think they could monitor their dogs, or at least pick up after them. The ***** in me wants to toss the dog poop back into their yard. Aside from the more aggressive measures, I thought about maybe leaving a note on their windshield asking nicely for them to park in front of their own house. The thing is, my impression of these people is that they are selfish and inconsiderate people, and I have a feeling that they'd respond by keying my car or something. Suggestions?
