My boyfriend and i have been going out for 2yrs and 5 months. this weekend when we were together he was texting his friend and i reached for his phone, i don't remember why, but then he grabbed it back and deleted all his text messages from his guy friend and this girl (i saw her name when he was deleting it) When i questioned him about it first he lied and said he had to free up memory on his phone, then he said that his girl whos a friend was having problems with her boyfriend and he was helping her out and he didn't want me to take it the wrong way. I believe him mostly but i'm now suspicious of everything, he keeps telling me to just let it go any advice would be great. Apparently she said she wishes her boyfriend was more like mine and he thought i'd interpret that wrong.

This happened about 1 week ago. Most of my extended and direct family and I went down to the coast for the week for a family reunion. We were sharing my aunt's beach house (which is quite large), all of the bedrooms were full with the couples and really young kids in the family, so my cousin, who is 17 and I, I'm 16, volunteered to sleep on the couch downstairs in the living room. The couch was L shaped and I slept on 1 side and he slept on the other. We watched a couple of movies and talked a bit and then we decided to go to sleep. I had fallen asleep but I woke up when I felt the blankets being pulled off of me and my cousin lying down next to me. My back was to him, so he couldn't see that I was awake. I was about to ask him what he was doing, but his hands began touching my breasts and other more....private parts. I didn't know what to do because I was in shock and I was scared so I pretended to still be asleep. He kept touching me for what felt like ages until he went back to his side of the couch. I stayed awake until morning, he didn't come back. I don't know what to do! He's been my best friend since we were in kindergarten. I can't believe that someone I've known and trusted for so long would do something like this! The next day, he was using every opportunity he got to touch me, in the car his hand would linger near my chest and lap a bit longer than necessary when he reached over me along with other situations. I know that this is wrong, but I don't know how or what to tell my parents. The nights after that I was making up excuses to sleep in my parents room. Should I confront him? Or just tell my parents? I do love him like a brother and I don't want him to get arrested or anything. Is there a way we could resolve the situation without the authorities?
