Is It Just Me Or Are Lebron Fans A Little Delusional

Why is Lebron getting so much hate? Michael Jordan NEVER won a game vs the Celtics in the playoff's?

Aside from the obvious (6 championship rings), MJ had something LeBron doesn't have, and that's fire.

Regardless of what you think of MJ as a person, you have to respect his work ethic. Guys like Larry, Magic, MJ, and, a more modern example, Kobe were eaten up by losing. After losing to the Bad Boy Pistons year after year, MJ bulked up and relied on his teammates better. When he returned after his first retirement, he lost to the Magic, and his competitive nature forced him to lead the Bulls to a 4-0 sweep the next year over the Magic.

When the city of LA called Larry Bird and the Celtics soft, they came back by clotheslining Kurt Rambis and winning the title in 84. The next year, Magic returned fire and won the title with the Lakers. When Kobe was humiliated by the Celtics with a 39 point loss, he came back with fire with death in his eyes and led the Lakers to drop the Magic in 5 games. As much as I despise Kobe at times, I give him his credit. He was definitely the leader for the Lakers during those two championship runs.

What I'm saying is these players took a loss personally. As good as LeBron is, I don't see that in him. When he lost to the Magic last year, what is he doing this year? He's dancing around thinking he can walk through the playoffs. What I saw today was a lifeless LeBron. He gave up in the fourth quarter. 10 turnovers. He had the stats, but his FG was terrible. Even if MJ lost to the C's at least he put up a fight.

Is it true that elkgond, 2 legit, nikki, ironpump, dave, wade and gus the bandwagoner?

I made the list. I feel so special now. Do me a favor and pair me up with Nikky for the baby making. haha

Why can't Ronaldo fanboys admit Messi is the GOAT?

I am neither the fan of Ronaldo nor Messi. I am the fan of Football. Now this is a universal debate who is the best. I would go on to say both are. You cant compare them on the same metrics, both have their strength and weaknesses. Comparing them would be an insult.Cristiano plays on the wing and he is deadly finisher. He has constantly innovate himself to his strength as per his age and diminishing body strength and pace. He is 33 and still performing at the highest level and we cant say when he will stop. Its like watching a never ending movie. Every year there is a discussion station this is the last year Ronaldo is performing at this level and every year he proves them wrong.Coaches also played a huge role in his success. When he joined Madrid in 2008 Barcelona was at its peak and Madrid was diminishing powerhouse. After Mourinho departed Real Madrid was on the up, spent wisely in transfer windows and they started winning trophies. 3 Champions league in 4 years is testament to that.Messi on the other hand was revitalised by Guardiola in false nine role and tiki taka football which revolutionised the game. He plays beautifully. He too work hard. there is common theory that messi is extremely talented but talen requires hardwork and guidance to be on the show.During Guardiola era they were near invincible winning all the trophies in their path adding to the Messi demigod stature. After 2011 there was shift in power and madrid start competing ferociously with comparable team members. He has been there talisman and won two trebles. he has won above 30 trophies .Point is both of them were extremely successful when team members around them were on the same wavelength and extremely talented. its the team who wins the trophies. You can be the Man of the match but you need 11 players on the field to win the match. People need to understand the role team and coach has played in their success. When the team was successful, they were successful.

Kobe Bryant the G.O.A.T. and Forever (with stats to prove it)?

After reading your essay, I'm even more convinced that Jordan is superior to Kobe. I didn't think that was possible. I like how you show Jordan dominated in virtually every catergory and then give a disclaimer as to why the stats are misleading. Are you really trying to say Kobe was a better defender than Russell? I'm not even going to waste any more of my time trying to educate you. You are entitled to your delusions.

I'm not sure if this is a serious question or if it's satire. If you are trying to mock the Kobe jockers, excellent job. lol

Does anybody else thing this section was way better during the NCAA tournament?

I agree that the NCAA tournament is the best sporting event.. well maybe after the superbowl for me.

It was probably more exciting for college basketball fans... most little kids these days don't really care about college ball... sad but true

Do Americans have any idea their patriotism might be exaggerated from the point of view of foreigners?

That would largley depend on the American and the foreigners. Most Americans are patriotic to some extent or another. Americans tend to be more vocal in pretty much everything as well. If you have a American Canadian and German in the same bar the American is a safe bet to be the most vocal and outgoing. We tend to share our Opinions very consistently. To be honest I've seen basketball arguments in the us about where LeBron was going to land that were more vocal than anything I've ever seen outside the us. Americans are also very proud of our accomplishments which are pretty impressive to be honest. Americans think that putting men on the moon and largley beating the Nazis and beating the Japanese in WWII are things they deserve credit for, which we do. To get back to the point American patriotic things to someone from Iran or north Korea are very different than someone from France or Australia. Iran considers us religious infedells and north Koreans have seen propaganda every day for many decades about the evil empire so fixing those relationships is beyond my pay grade. Where as France and Australia are allied very closely with the us and despite the fact that we do have a few falling outs have a very large desire to see the us do as well as possible. So let me tell a story I was visiting my good friend in paris and brought nothing more that shirts with my teams logos and jerseys of my teams. In Boston you wear hockey jerseys 24/7 unless you have a job interview or something. Where as the Parisians dressed quite formal. It's a trifal at best but it is a interesting look at things. So I think the short answer is Americans are very outgoing, and proud inherently. Also keep in mind that the us produces the majority of movies and TV that the world watches and we get over represented all over the world. Also keep in mind that if someone is trying to make a political statement they want to be as ridiculously over the top as possible to get the most attention. 20 people yelling with signs and this and that look like a lot more than 20 people if they have a good cameraman.
