What is the "real" story behind the Fourth Kind?
I've been seeing trailers for it everywhere. Each and everyone stating that it's based on true events. I've done quite a bit of research. I found that 24 people did go missing in Nome, Alaska in from 1960 all the way to 2004. I also found a site saying it was related to alcohol abuse, however, they hadn't released all the information on the cases yet. Also 9 of the bodies were never found. Every time I research Dr. Abigail Tyler, I come up with dead-ends. I found all the movie created sites, including the one with her bio, which is no longer up and running. However, I found people saying something about her being real and something or other about her husband, and that she's based off of Dr. John Mack. It's really confusing and there's a lot of hype on this film. And I'm being sucked into it, I'll admit it. I guess after me saying The Blair Witch Project wasn't scary, at all, and my parents telling me I wasn't there for the hype that made it scary. It's finally catching up to me with the release of this film. Part of me wants to really believe this is a true story, but most of me knows it's not.
Do actors and actresses look as good in real life as they do on screen?
I am pretty qualified to answer this question, having met many Bollywood celebs face to face. Firstly, NO not all of them are ugly. I remember meeting Akshay Kumar and that I couldn't just believe how better he looks off-screen. To add in this list are Kangana, Katrina, Sonakshi, Kareena, Aditya Pancholi, Irfan Khan, and many more.Secondly, the kind of diet celebs take, the routine they follow makes their skin glow. Not just they maintain their body, but hair, skin and nails too.There are people I haven't really liked in person or say who look far better on screen - Aditi Rao Hydari, Hrithik(with never ending skinny legs), Priyanka, Parineeti and a few more. Not that they are ugly, they look better on screen. Some people are just photogenic.Makeup plays an important role though but all alone, it can't make someone look flawless. You need to have sharp features and a certain kind of bone structure. For there are plastic surgeries in market, makeup isn't even required anymore.
Does anyone else look bad on webcam but good in real life?
I got a new computer and it has a built in camera and all. Well I can't use it because it makes me look horrible! The color is distorted but the real problem is that it makes every imperfection stand out by 10! I had one little zit on my chin and on camera it made it look like a dent in my face. I am just wondering.... how do I really look? The way I see myself in a mirror or how I look in photos/ specifically the webcam. What is the truth? I look good in the mirror. Is the mirror lying or the camera? How do other people see me?
