Is It Legal For My Boyfriend

I'm 14 and my boyfriend is 18, is this legal in the UK? And is it morally okay?

No. It is not legal for you to have sexual intercourse in the UK at your age - you are supposed to wait until you are 16.You may well be more mature than he is - boys and men are very simple creatures beneath all the bluster (and some never mature). You may well feel an overwhelming urge to have intercourse and quite a few of your peer group at school will have already done so. It’s nature and normal.Assuming that your life pans out in the usual way then you will have intercourse thousands of times with as many partners as you choose to have. There’s no hurry. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to wear it out - but do it thoughtfully so that when you are old you can look back and smile rather than curse.Only a few people would criticise you for jumping the legal gun, and I am not one of them, but I would suggest that you don’t rush and be very very sure that you choose your partners wisely and get proper effective contraception organised BEFORE! you have intercourse.

Can My Boyfriend Be My Legal Guardian?

It sounds completely ridiculous, I know.

But I live in Kentucky.
So I can't really be emancipated.

I just need him to be my legal guardian so we can live together n he can collect my SSI.

Is this possible?

My boyfriend is 20 and im 16 is that legal?

It's not illegal for an adult to date a minor. In terms of sex, however, it might be. The age of consent, the age at which a person is deemed capable of consenting to have sex, differs from state to state. Most states are at 16. So, if you live in Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Connecticut, DC, Georgia, Hawai'i, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Vermont, Washington or West Virginia and sex is a part of your relationship, you guys are fine.

If you live in any state not listed above, the age of consent is at either 17 or 18.

The Velvet Sinner...like I said in my response to your e-mail, internet search. There are legitimate sites out there that show the age of consent in every state and, for most, it IS at 16. For example, look at the site posted by user below me.

Can my mom get my boyfriend put in jail? I am legal and an adult?

To sum up the situation: I am 19 and I plan to move in with my boyfriend to Texas due to my abusive household and I told my mother in advance so I wouldn't leave her in the dark. She then tried to tell my siblings that I was leaving because I didn't care about them.
She has always been very manipulative and abusive because she wants me to stay to take care of her 4 other kids despite the father living with her too.
She said that if I left that she would cut all contact and that I'm not one of her kids anymore if I disobeyed her.
We don't but he told me to contact him when I'm ready to leave.

I announced again yesterday that I planned to leave and now she claimed she'd call the police if I leave so that when I get to Texas, he'll be in jail and I'll end up homeless.

Is it legal for my boyfriend’s ex-wife to meet with my ex-husband and slander me?

Is it legal for my boyfriend’s ex-wife to meet with my ex-husband and slander me?Yes, it’s perfectly legal for them to meet and talk crap about you.If they start talking to the news about you or posting LIES about you on social media, then you can hire a lawyer to send them a cease-and-desist notice. If they ignore it, then your lawyer can sue them for slander and/or libel. (Slander for the news, libel for the social media.)But, you’d wind up spending a lot of money for nothing, so just ignore it and move on with your life. Stop worrying about what your exes are doing.

Is it legal to go on a cruise with my boyfriend if i'm underage?

Depends on what cruise line you're going on. I know with Carnival you have to accompanied by some 25 or older. I called them and asked because my girlfriend and I were planning on going. My girlfriend is 20 and I'm 21, but the reason they're letting me go with her because I'm in the military. She stressed that I have the proper documentation during arrival, becuase they are very strict and won't let you on. The best bet would be to call and ask.

Is it like legal to have a boyfriend who's over 18 if I'm underage?

Maybe. This depends on the law in your state. Most states have the Age of Consent at 16. If you're in one of those states and at least 16, you're fine. Some states have an age of consent at 17. A handful of states have it at 18. If you live in different states, the federal age of consent is 18.Many states also have "Romeo and Juliet" laws that exempt couples close in age from the age of consent. For example, in North Carolina, the rule is "within four years as long as both parties are over 13." Thus, 14 and 18 or 15 and 19 would be allowed (depending exactly where the birthdays fell). Again, check the law in your state.Of course, this assumes you're having sex. If you aren't, you don't need to worry about this. Before you ask, oral sex counts and handjobs might count (if they don't under statutory rape laws, they will under other laws). That said, most states have charges like "contributing to the delinquency of a minor" or "corruption of a minor" or some other charge that may encompass nonsexual behaviour in a relationship context depending how broad it is. This would be easier to answer knowing the state and how old the minor is. Few prosecutors are going to go after a 18 year old who's with a 17 year old (when it does get prosecuted, it usually involves a same sex couple and angry parents).Even if it's legal, I'd caution you to be very careful. Sometimes these relationships are healthy and work out. A lot of times, these relationships are bad. It does depend on the circumstances. 17 and 18, 19, or 20 isn't too bad. 16 and 18 or 19 isn't bad. But if there's a wide age gap, be wary. The older person has more power via money and experience and can leverage that to harm you. Like I said, sometimes that doesn't happen. But be aware that it can.

Im 16,My Boyfriend is 23.Is it legal in Florida to date and have sex with him?

Ill advised, but not illegal for some crazy reason until he is 24, and which point he is a felon. Each state has different consent laws, contrary to popular belief:

Title XLVI
CRIMES Chapter 794
SEXUAL BATTERY View Entire Chapter

794.05 Unlawful sexual activity with certain minors.--

(1) A person 24 years of age or older who engages in sexual activity with a person 16 or 17 years of age commits a felony of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084. As used in this section, "sexual activity" means oral, anal, or vaginal penetration by, or union with, the sexual organ of another; however, sexual activity does not include an act done for a bona fide medical purpose.

How can my boyfriend become a legal citizen in the U.S?

Okay before you make any RACIST comments saying my boyfriend should go back to Mexico and stuff. I advise you not to make those comments and not judge. Do not ask why I'm dating an illegal I care for my boyfriend very much and want to help him to be legalized.

Anyways. Here's the story.

My boyfriend is 16 years old and at the time he was brought to America illegally he was around 2 years old or younger. So he didn't have a choice at all whether to be legal or illegal. It was a bad decision of his parents. But hey his parents are great and sweet people and I agree it wasn't right of them but as humans we make very incompetent decisions. So now my boyfriend is a sophomore and High School and is at the age to drive and everything yet he can't get a drivers license because of his legal status. I thought maybe before he turns 18 there is a way for him to become legal. I think it'd be very upsetting if he can't gain legal status due to a decision was not his. As I've been dating him for a very long time,it worries me that he has the risk of deportation.

Is there any way or hope for him to become legal? I live in California..
And please NO RUDE COMMENTS. READ THE WHOLE STORY. I only want real answers and nothing stating "Oh I hate illegals they should all go back" I'm asking a question about this and would like to receive answers only about this, nothing rude, just truth and state recognition.
