Fence on the US/Mexican border ?
It is a 'smart' fence. Lots of people burn the fence off.. call it a wall... try and stop it. We have had fences all along the border which have been there for a while, and are NOT comparable to the fence we are building today at all. The communities that DO have fences between themselves and Mexico like them a very great deal. Before anyone could forge our documents, Law enforcement found the crime rate dropped over 90% in those communities immediately next to the border. But the old type fence doesn't stop them today as long as they have the forged I.D. Racism.. racism.. racism... No. The most notable example of a fence was erected by the community itself. It is the Mexican American Community in National City, California. The State likeed it so much, they expanded the idea to other neighborhoods along the border, (also Mexican American). Crime dropped like a rock, narcotics stopped flowing through the neighborhoods like water, and the value of the homes went way up. You also need to know that the Mexican Government hired a whole bunch of lobby groups to do their work in this country. They are adamantly apposing the fences, compare them to the Berlin Wall, call them an insult and generate a lot bad mouth. Ahh but.. they whang the murder rate on this side of the border very, very nicely. Where the fence is not going up, and cameras are being used, they are watching border areas that are a thousand miles long. Ten people a day cross the whole area, and they are usually caught. In some areas where the smugglers came over and shot up the ranchers homes, they are watched much more closely and where that fence, and or cameras are, the smugglers simply don't cross. The Mexican Military along the border doesn't protect American Citizens, and in fact, seems to hate them. OUR military is far to small to protect us, and the Congress and this President as well as Mr. Clinton, cut funds to the Border Patrol, and essentially, the border was wide open for years while the illegal aliens simply ran over and headed for Montana. The fence is a very, very good idea. It protects Americans and we want them Americans working that land. That, or we simply have to abandon the border to the criminal elements and corruption of Mexico.
Will Mexico ever be a world power, or take over America?
Right on, Right on, hermana! Hey I wish I could ride a burro and I do eat tacos all the time,pero ni modo pues! Seriously though,Mexico can and will surprise the world in the maybe not too distant future.Oh yeah,we got a little narco war(thanks to the dope head americans), but really,Mexico is growing and advancing by leaps and bounds. Hey ,just think of this, what if the narcowar was in the US , with heads being left along the side the road, your criminal politicians and thug police being executed daily. Wow, America would come to a standstill. Paranoia would sweep the nation. The transportation system would be shut down. Martial law would be declared. Confusion would reign with people afraid to step out of their house. Everyone outside of the US knows about how "delicate" americans are! But in Mexico,we just step over the heads,quietly cheer every time another criminal mayor or corrupt policeman are knocked off and go on with our lives! New factories continue to be built all over the country! New government aid and assistance programs to the marginalized classes continue to come about and function! Computer and cell phone usage increase every single day! There was once a time when Mexicans had to go to the US to buy certain electronic items or advanced machinery,not much any more as everything one could ever want is now available in Mexico with many electronic items actually cheaper than what you'll pay in the US( I know, as last year I worked for Telcel(cell phones) and SKY(Satellite dish)). Mexico is advancing at a much faster rate than the US and we now are looking more to the south for our future(great advancing nations like Brasil,Venezuela,Peru,Bolivia and Argentina),rather than to the imperialist north which stole almost half our territory and has exploited us ever since(and most of all,is now in decline). As we approach the elections of 2012,there is now a good chance we will break with the pro american terrorist politics and move forward. Mexico will never forget history which can never be erased! The US unjustly and brutally stole almost half our territory in 1848 and believe me,the day WILL come that we will take it back, one way or another!! Viva Mexico!!
Illegal immergants fom mexico?
Whats wrong with the people coming over here and staying. i here that a lot of people complain because there taking all the jobs. My point is there taking all the jobs because they are willing to work hard and not complain like us american well some americans. im in high schooll and really don'tt fully understand the problem. they are just like us and live on the same continent, right up under us. i really dont get why we are so against them and make all these laws to keep them out. what happen to american being the great place of freedom. i think america should do better and shouldnt be so mean about just people coming over. we dont fight with them war wize and they dont kill our people in war. we are really quick to allow other people in other countries that we are fighting to come over but we cant allow the people in mexico to come over. please help me understand and dont get upset or mean in your comments thank you.
Can I move single wide trailer to Mexico?
First, I believe it will be much more complicated than the first answerer indicates. the american border patrol may not care if you take it across, but , believe me, the Mexican inspectors at the 20 km inspection station are REALLY going to care! If you buy a NEW mobile home, you would have to pay 15% tax on it to take it into Mexico. If you can prove it is used, you probably won't have to pay that. I presume you would have to have a professional move it for you...in that case, ASK them...they should know the regulations for this. Also, dealers in your area who sell them, should know. I am SURE it will have to be registered, have a permit, a deposit and some kind of fees paid...just like taking a vehicle or household goods into Mexico. No way are they going to overlook an entire mobile home! Nothing is that simple! You cannot even take a refrigerator into Mexico without the proper visa and paying tax on it. You could also go to the nearest Mexican consulate and ask there...calling them is usually a waste of time. I am sure people sometimes do this, but I cannot find any info on the regs. But , I do think dealers in your area may have experience with this type of situation. Also, if you can't find the info, you could consider calling some mobile home dealers in San Diego. I know a lot of Americans live in mobile homes just across the border..and may take their mobile home over the border...so those dealers may have the info you need.
Is been Mexican considered a crime ?
OK so let me get this right . it is all based on numbers , what tells me that if more Asian or European illegal immigrants grow in numbers then and only then the hate against Mexicans will move to the next bigger minority, , why didn't i though about that before , , also i don't want to receive illegal Mexicans with your open arms , but i wish there was a solution to stop all this problem , some of you say "let's kick them out of the states once and for all" and i think it is okkk for my but if that is really the solution how come it has not been done who is to benefit from all this people to stay , who is behind that , if you all are so unhappy with illegals why has nothing been done , think about that for a moment , seriously, if you don't think Economy will crash with the mass deportation you are wrong , if you think "man we pick our veggies long before this people came " you are right that was on the past but today our economy is also based on the mass production ............
