Is It Me Or Does Mick Vick Seem To Get Better Every Week

Can Michael Vick ever win MVP?

While its always possible, I would say that it is more likely that he will never win. And no, he didn't deserve a single vote for MVP. I'm not sure how anyone could vote for someone who MISSED 5 GAMES during the course of the season.

This was his best year as a passing QB, yet in his final 5 games, he turned the ball over 8 times. To me, it just took teams a little longer to re-figure him out, and once they did, the rest was history. He looked great in the first 6 games he played, not turning the ball over at all, yet in his final 5 games of the season, he turned it over better than once per game, much like he did during his days in Atlanta.

And what makes it more likely that he will never win an MVP, is that once the Bears showed everyone how to play against Vick, Vick and the Eagles never adjusted how they played. He struggled with his presnap reads, didn't seem to understand coverage schemes after the ball was snapped, and thus his turnovers went up, his completion % went down, and he started taking more sacks/getting hit, because he was too busy trying to once again make plays with his legs versus with his arm.

Michael Vick Poetry Competition...?

okay, so i want to hear the best rhyme, haiku, song, poem, etc. that you can come up with for michael vick... be it how much he disgusts you or how much you still love the guy... be it about his ordeal of his experience in the NFL... show me what you got. the winner of course wins best answer, and... well.. not much else.. but use this space to vent, yell, bich, gripe, what have you...

Is Michael Vick retarded?

Are you retarded?

Describe Michael Vick using only one word?

Some good answers out there. I personally like "SCUMBAG" myself.

If someone is attacked by a dog and lethal force is used to stop the attack, I believe that to be adequate.

If your dog is attacked by another dog and lethal force is used to stop the attack, I believe that to be adequate.

But, when you create an unnatural situation where an animal is forced to fight in an arena from which it cannot escape...

Where the winner lives and the loser dies for the sake of entertainment...

Not only is he a morally bankrupt and depraved sicko with the intelligence of a ditch-digger, he is just a born a55hole.

Don't even give me that BS about being a product of your environment. People make choices, end of story on that excuse.

What is most sad is that this situation reminds me of the OJ situation, where African Americans sided with OJ just because he too was African American, and whether he committed murder or not was totally disregarded. This Vick situation is the same.

Should we root for Michael Vick?

I am certain that I am in the minority here, but I am of the opinion that we should treat his (or any athlete's) on-the-field actions differently from his off-the-field actions. In other words, whether or not you think he is an immoral man for engaging in dogfighting, that should not affect whether or not you respect him or root for him as an athlete. And let me stress I hold this view across the board. I hate it when the media gets up in arms when Wayne Rooney cheats on his wife and is like, "BUT HE'S SUPPOSED TO BE A ROLE MODEL."  Right, like 12-year-old boys are all of a sudden going to say, "Oh, Wayne Rooney slept with a hooker, so now I feel the need to do so as well."  I hate Wayne Rooney, but not because he slept with a hooker (off the field).  I hate him because he plays for Manchester United (on the field).  (And partially because he looks like a troll.)For me, the thing with Michael Vick is the same. The problems you may or may not have with the man should not even come into play when you are discussing whether or not you support the athlete.  Do I think dogfighting should be illegal? No, I don't, but that's not why I support Vick. I support him because I like his style of play and because he used to play for the Atlanta Falcons, which used to be my local team.  Keep the off-the-field issues off the field, people.EDIT: I need to clarify something, I think. I don't think that athletes should be exempt from legal justice. If Michael Vick had murdered someone through drunk driving (like Donte Stallworth who only got 30 DAYS IN JAIL compared to Vick's two years or whatever it was), then I would expect him to experience the full punishment of the law. My point is, even when there is a case that is that severe, where another human is murdered by an athlete, if that athlete isn't convicted for life and does get a chance to come back to the league, my decision on whether or not to root for him will be based on what team he's on, how good of a player he is, etc. I will never make my decision based on things that happened off the field, because I trust justice to be served. If it is not, the athlete is not the one to blame, the authorities off the field are.

Why is Mike Vick so hated?

kobe was squeaky clean up till then,he had to rebuild his image he lost alot plus he had to fork out for that rock on his girls hand. the accuser turned out to be a train wreck and the rest is history. Vick on the other hand has a had a history of bizarre behavior to say the least and he is the poster child for dog fighting something everybody knew was going on but he shined the light on it for fbi etc, etc, and what kobe did he was not the fisrt of the "stars" to be hit with the charge he got. thats my looong winded explanation!

Anyone else lose respect for Michael Vick?

The cancellation of the camp just makes me feel justified in never having liked this guy. He's a terrific athlete. Not a true leader, nor is he worth staking the future of a franchise on.

What was Michael Vick's major and GPA?

Sociology according to the Va Tech website MV2K.

Which is a better athlete, Tom Brady or Ben Roethlisberger?

I agree with most of these responses.I think Ben is a better athlete, but that could be debatable. Both were 3 sport stars in high school. Obviously football, where Ben was only a one year starter and Brady wasn’t even good enough to start for the winless JV team. Both turned out OK from such inauspicious starts.Ben starred also on the basketball court, while Brady starred as a catcher on the high school baseball team, playing well enough to get drafted. But, seeing as basketball players are typically more athletic than baseball players, I might still give the nod to Ben there. He averaged over 25 ppg.Obviously Brady is the more accomplished and successful player. But that means little as far as who is the better athlete. Just in general, it seems that Roethlisberger can do more than Brady. Stronger, maybe a bit faster. But not much, and maybe not at all.
