Is It Ok To Ask A Person From A Different Country To Check My Essay

Essay: What is one question every educated person should ask. Short Sat essay?

Did you know that the poor, the exploited and people with no voices might be intelligent too?

Did you know that some slaves were highly educated?

By this I am saying you should not over-generalize.

Have somebody check spelling and grammar, punctuation. Lincoln's document was the Emancipation Proclamation.

I like your question. Remember that first we prepare ourselves by growing wise and well educated, but we can also just be kind every day. Make eye contact. Be polite. See everybody as a person. You might include some of those things.

Your essay tells me that maybe you are black and struggling with the meaning of it. Or that you are of some other race and care about what happened. Both positions are good starting points for improving the world. Know that as you explore your thoughts.

Almost everybody has some kind of intelligence or gift to give. Good for you for thinking about this question and I hope you do well on the SATs.

Can someone please check my paper to see if its ok.?

I am comparing and contrasting my life to the main character in a book we read in ESL class. Ok, here is my paper:

Have you ever wanted to adapt to your new surrounding, but people hold you back? That is what Maya is feeling like. Maya is a Kazakhstani teenager who emigrated from her native country of Kazakhstan with her family to escape economical difficulties and get a better life. This narrative will compare and contrast my life to Maya’s life in the book “My Favorite Chaperone”. I am a tenth grader and my name is and I emigrated from my country, Ghana, about 7 years ago to get a better life.
As Maya, I also emigrated from my country, but not from the government crumpling, but to get a better opportunity that another country offers. Maya immigrated to America by plane, but came here through her aunt who came to America through an international dating magazine. I immigrated to America the same way she came, however she came here because of difficulties and economic problems in her country.
There are many similatries and differences between Maya and I. in the same way as Maya’s brother was trying to get permission for his sister, that’s the same I would do for my siblings. Although Maya translated the wrong words to her father, I wouldn’t have done that because I thought what she did was wrong.
Maya and my life may be similar, our families are different and the same in many ways. In the same way as Maya’s family are overprotective about her, that’s the same way my parents are, like when Maya’s parents wouldn’t allow her to go to the school dance. However, we are also different because my parents allow me to experience the American culture, while Maya’s parents won’t permit her. All in all, Maya and I are different but similar through our families.

Is it okay to ask someone to check my essay after writing it?

Absolutely. Some professors actually encourage you to do so.On the other hand, you do want to ensure that you do not plagiarize the content of their essay, if indeed they are writing on the same topic.Conversely, if they are amateur writers, which most people are at best, they may be inclined to only assist you with spelling and punctuation. Moreover, and by and large, friends are not quality sources to assist in this endeavor. This is because they have a penchant to tell people (whether it be essays or personal anecdotes) that their writing is good.Consequently, you can always seek out a librarian or if you are in college, your TA or a writing tutor.

Can someone check my thesis ? have to rewrite sentence into a thesis statement?

I'm sorry, I don't quite understand what you want checking? If you explain further I will try to extend my answer...

They look pretty good to me so I've just altered the spelling and wording...

1. Your appearance when applying for a job can have an impact on whether you are hired or not.
2.The price of equipment and the risk of injury puts a dampener on the prospect of skiing.
3. In Arizona new voting machines led to shorter lines despite the new law on identification.
4. The deregulation of telephone system has resulted in consumers seeing an increase in annoying telemarketing calls.
5. The purpose of motorcycle helmet laws are to protect the rider, however some riders see the law as an inconvenience

Sorry if that is totally useless and not what you wanted! Good luck wit it!

Can anyone please check my college essay? its due tomorrow!!!!?

I don't think this is a strong college essay at all. First off, the prompt was to write page 87 of your autobiography. If this is a college essay (and not just an assignment for your high school teacher), you will bore the admissions officers to death. Moreover, you did not really follow the directions. Realistically a single page of an autobiography will not have so much general information about a person. One page would have a simple part of the person's entire life. Admissions officers have to read thousands of essays and you want yours to stand out. Most of what you've written can be composed by any student. It is filled with cliches and general life lessons that you don't show how they have real meaning to you. Definitely get rid of the quote("Necessity....") , your GPA and your name as the first sentence. You need to write something memorable that gives your complete application a personality. The best essays will be anecdotes- that is, descriptions of a part of your life that specifically describes something you did, learned, experienced, etc. That type of essay will set you apart from every other Indian who moved to the US and is now approaching high school graduation with an awesome GPA. If I were you, I would describe an experience you had in either India or the US and compare it to the other country. Tell the admissions officers how you dealt with the different cultures and people and how that experience has shaped you into who you are today. Admissions officers want to be able to read your essay and know, after reading it, what you as a person (not you as a number) can add to their university.

Based on what you have provided above, I think a great anecdotal essay would describe your everyday life and challenges in India compared to living in the US for the past two years. But again, be specific. Don't be general- i.e. Don't just say school in India is different than school in the US because...
Write something as a story and use LOTS of adjectives so that the admissions person reading your essay can envision in their mind what you have written on paper.

Good luck!

How closely does the IB check extended essays?

Close enough where trying to plagiarize is stupid. I would recommend if you are going to cheat, cheat by hiring someone to help you write parts of the essay. This is collusion and if you get caught garble and try and get a plea deal. Collusion imo is the safest route to doing the least work possible on the EE. Make sure the person writing it doesnt write in a tone or vocabulary that makes it obvious. Make sure to be involved with the collusion so you know exactly what hes writing about.I have been caught once mistakenly colluding and I got- I think - a slap on the wrists. I google translated a whole essay, brought it to tutors, edited it with them and produced an immaculate essay. It was too perfect. DONT DO THIS! Especially if ur spanish teacher is a bitch. Tread carefully and realise that in all scenarios of collusion be prepared to back up the legitimacy of ur work.
