Is It Ok To Cheat At School Or

Is it ok to cheAt in school tests?

It is not okay. You really rob yourself of your own education if you cheat. Too many graduates wish they would have paid more attention in class, done more reading, or/and actually learned what was being taught.

The purpose of an education is to prepare you for employment and a lifetime where you are always able to move on up in the working world. The uneducated are stuck and cannot move on. This drags everyone down because when unemployment is as high as it is today, too much time must be spent just bringing the dropouts up to par for reading and math skills, when they could be spent learning a new trade or getting a college education that will allow them to get a higher paying job.

Is it ok to cheat on a test?

Neither "guilty" nor "proud"! It's just a matter of "survival"! I mean when the testing process of an educational system is JUST absurd, there's no other way left! But after all, well... you know... it's a great feeling when you can tell to yourself "Hey teacher! (or "moragheb!" or "tarahe soal!" or har kufte digei!) You're just a stupid dumbasss who could be fooled easily by a kid! A silly moron who's just full of himself and think a lot of himself! But you're JUST NOTHING!"

Is it OK to cheat (in school) sometimes?

Hey dude, I am the same age as you, also in an honors class. :)
First of all, I'm wondering how long exactly your teacher gives you to study? I get 25 words a week, with a quiz on them every Friday, and although it's a pain in the butt and leads to lots of Thursday night procrastination, it's do-able. Not anyone in my class cheats, or at least to my knowledge, and people usually pass.
I think that sometimes people forget that they are in ap/honors classes, and they forget that they chose the challenge. In these such courses, it is expected to be rigorous and hard, they're not meant for everyone. I get annoyed when people in my class groan about having to read 100 pages of a novel over the weekend, and things like that, because it's not that bad!
Ok anyway, there is, of course, a strong chance that your teacher is indeed overloading the vocabulary (is it just the vocabulary or other things as well?). In this case, I understand the need to cheat- I've done it plenty of times before, for example in chemistry just because it is so difficult, so I copy others homework. And I know that people will say, "there's never any reason to cheat", but in fact once in a while, it's a beneficial thing; as long ad it doesn't get in the way of learning the material.
Don't rat out your classes cheating- but address the teacher and tell him/her your reasons for the bocab being too much. Maybe an intelligent conversation face to face, or a well written email? It may seem daunting, but it will actually impress your teacher if well stated. Work out a compromise (cutting the list in half, extending the amount of study time, offering extra credit for knowing certain words). What would be great is to also have other classmates do the same, so the teacher will see it's a group, not individual problem.
If the teacher remains stubborn, then make a class wide petition. Transfer out of the class. If you need to, stay in the class, try not to cheat, but do it if very needed.
I hope this helps! Good luck!

Is it OK to cheat (in school) sometimes?

I have an honors English class (High school, 11th grade). My teacher has us memorize vocabulary words. We are expected to memorize the word's spelling, definition, and 1 synonym, however, we are usually not given very long to memorize the words. The test is 10 randomly selected words, out of 20 we are to study. I can easily say that the majority of my classmates cheat on these tests, and my teacher has no knowledge of this. I have tried a few times to not cheat, but the result is my own grade suffering.

If I tell her that we are cheating, I only see the grades of myself and my classmates suffering. No teacher would ease on tests with failing students, most would only expect us to "try harder". And frankly, that is not about to happen with most of the students. Seems like cheating is the most positive outcome in a situation like this, would you agree?

Reasons why it would be ok the cheat in school?

If the class is hard
If you like to get drunk more than you like to study
If the teacher is a *****

Is it ever OK to cheat?

No I don't think cheating is ever okay. Not in school nor in driving tests etc. If your going to be responsible behind the wheel of a car you'd better know the rules of the road. I nor anyone else wants to be killed by someones laziness to study the rules of the road. By cheating your not learning.

Is it ever ok to cheat?

i think cheating is whatever you wouldn't do to someone if your partner was there.

not sure if that was clear...
like if you're trying a sexual practice with a third person with your partner's consent... i dont think thats cheating.

but if you kissing up on somebody and you probably wouldn't ever do that if your partner was in that room, then that's cheating.

im trying to say that what the couple is open about doing with others depends, and varies as to what is considered cheating.
