it depends, are you auditioning for a role where the character is older than you, younger than you, or the same age? When you audition, you should always sing a song that best suits the type of character you are going for. If you are going for a older role then yes this song might be okay. If you are going for a role where the girl wil be the same age as you or younger, then no it is not okay. Shoot for a song with more innocence. Try songs from Peter Pan, Guys and Dolls, etc. Off the back, i would say the song is a little mature for you but it depends on the role you are going for.

If you love the song so much then why don't you know that it is simply called 'Angel' and not 'Arms of the Angel'?! I own the album, so I know that for certain. I also saw Sarah McLachlan live and she did the song introducing it as her song 'Angel'. If you are such a fan of the song you would think you would at least know the correct title. You would think you could also do the research to find the real meaning of the song. Here it is as explained by Sarah: "McLachlan wrote this about a drug-addict's struggles with the world. GOOD SONG TO SING FOR 14 YEAR OLD GIRL?

"Angel" by Sarah Mclaughlen (idk how to spell her name...). It's really pretty and touching, and it's pretty low. It goes from F below middle C to B flat above it. It's really easy to sing, and you don't have to have a very mature voice to sing it. I've always wanted to sing it for auditions, but I'm a soprano... good luck! Oh, but if you want to really impress them, you should sing a song from like a musical, that way you look like you really know what you're doing. "On My Own" from Les Miserables is a good alto song. It goes a little high and is a little harder, but you can maybe cut some parts out. It'll really impress them though!

Any Broadway songs I can learn for a 14 year old girl?

Always go for an obscure-ish song (or less popular.) That way you won't be #400,000 (and if it's the first time they've heard it, they'll always remember you!)

Not in my opinion.

If she were with a few friends, then I'd say it's fine; they can help look after one another. But by themselves is dangerous at 14, you're still kind of young and frankly, not that smart... 16 is alright, but I think 14 is just too young. Easy prey for creepy people.

Song for 14 year old girl to sing in Talent Show? 10 points!?

So yes, im 14, I have quite a wide range, can go both low and pretty high. I love the big divas like beyonce, rihanna, whitney and mariah, but dont want to sing too big a ballad thats slow, long and going to bore people! I love a variety of music. I dont mind singing a male song thats decent & fits my range, like michael jackson etc. Any ideas would be so so appreciated!

Is it okay for a 14 year old girl to lift weights?

Do not worry about the number on the scale if you are planning on gaining muscle. It'll scare the hell out of you. You need to solely care about how you look/feel. As for arms, yes, the hand weights will work. Search for some basic arm exercises using dumbells. The legs will be a bit more of a challenge. I suggest using body-weight exercises such as lunges and squats, potentially with the added 10lbs of your handweights or if possible, using specialized equipment at a gym (for the tricky areas like inner thighs) Also, to lose fat/flabby parts you will most likely need to turn to cardio. I know, it sucks. Try walking (it needn't be intense cardio, just amp up your daily activity level) or jogging a bit in addition to your weight lifting. Good luck, and don't worry:) You'll be fine regardless of the number on the scale or the size pant you wear.
