Is It Okay To Just Give Up

Is it okay to give up on women?

Yes, if you first went through therapy and gained self-knowledge. After that, if you’re successful, you will not want to give up on women.Giving up on women is a big f*** you to all women, most of all to your mother. She had to be one terrible role model. So get your ass to therapy and talk about who’s your etalon of what women you attract. Unless you get conscious about that, you will attract the bad eggs. There are a plenty of good women out there, but you probably put out the bad vibes. This is no Oedipus stuff, this is evolution. Our mother is the woman we know that could successfully reproduce, so is the father, so they are the models of how a proper man and woman looks like. Without therapy, you’re stuck with these models.

I just want to give up life.?

My parents never supported me in doing what I want. I wanted to become a singer or actress when I was little but they always forced me into focusing on my studies. I'm now almost 20 I decided to defer my studies for university to try and pursue my dream by taking singing lessons. I also had a lot of family problems which added to my stress and weight gain and hair loss and everything seems so far away and impossible that I just wanna cry because I have so much catching up to do and I just want to give up. What should I do? I wish there was a miracle or chance.

Should I just give up on having friends?

Whenever I make friends, they always backstab me, use me for something, lie to me, ignore me, etc. And they all end up abandoning me. Friends aren't a necessity anyway, and I hardly trust people anymore.

Should I just give up on becoming an actress?

You should get out and read more. In case you have not noticed the economy is horrible right now. On top of that the Screen Actors Guild and the Alliance of Motion Pictures and Television Producers have not come to an contract agreement which means production has come to a virtual standstill except for a precious few projects. Agencies are losing money, and agents are losing their jobs.

Stop betting on things you have no control over and get your head out of your A55. Actors have anything but stable and always upward trajectory careers. The very nature of being a professional actor is uncertainty and if you can't handle that then perhaps you should quit now. There will always be way too many factors beyond your control that will effect whether or not there is work for you as an actor, whether or not you specifically get this or that role, or whether you book a role only to find that the financial plug has been pulled on your project the first day of principal photography. That is just the way the cookie crumbles.

When is it okay to give up on people you love?

Yes, sometimes people, even loved ones, are beyond our help. Even if we want to be there for them, their needs often require more than we can give. That doesn't mean we have to 'give up' on them. The problem, as the question implied, is that it means removal of all support. It doesn't have to be that way. We can set boundaries and conditions. We can TALK TO THEM and find out where they are coming from. More importantly, we could LISTEN.We can help with connecting to services and counseling referrals and hero them get there. We also have to understand where our efforts cross the line into thier freedoms as troubled individuals. We can relate our worries and fears. We can offer support in our own ways, but when it comes down to it, they have to decide what they want. While what they choose is not always what we want, sometimes we have to step back and wait for whatever will happen.Yes, it's ok to give up if you have tried all you can. In the end, it's up to each of us to decide what our life will be, including them. Love them and get out of the way.

Is it ever OK to give up on love?

Love does not exist. Instead there’s a cruel, soul-destroying and life-draining nightmare of unending suffering and remorse that is experienced only by MEN at the whim of a WOMAN. Empathy be damned.

Is it ever O.K. to give up on a dream?

Not unless you decide you don't really want to do it. Sure you have to face reality and may not be able to pursue your dream as you first wanted, but I wouldn't just give it up or you will regret it later.

Should I give up on life?

Yes you should give up...but only if you want to miss the other things in life that makes you happy. You should give up if you feel that you have failed and you are too tired to put another effort that might lead you to success. You should give up if you feel that you failures are bigger than failures faced by great people like Thomas Edison, Abraham Lincoln, Sylvester Stallone and many others. There are many reasons to give up, our mind chooses something that is easy but our heart always tells us what to follow. So if you can't find that one reason to move on then ask your heart whether it really wants to give up. Life means to move on and not to give up.:)
