Would an Indian ever be able to become a singer and be famous like Taylor Swift?
I think it is really tough for an Asian singer (not only Indian) to become famous like Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift is an American...so people of America accepted her first and then people of other countries. Taylor Swift never toured to India because she believes“ Indians don't love my music”.(not pretty true).This is a ‘half truth’.Majority of Indians are illiterate and ‘regional language’ speaking people. They are mostly farmers or workers.They don't even know the name of Taylor Swift. But, they know Hindi singers like Arijit Singh, Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan..to name just a few. Because, they are Indians and they sing in Hindi. But,Indian teenagers who are reading in English medium schools know Taylor.. But there are hardly 15 of them who listen to her (approx.from each school).Now, Shreya Ghoshal is an Indian singer. “shreya ghoshal" day is celebrated in Ohio. But, very few foreigners knows her. Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutt were Miss World pageants.. But Americans don't even know them very well. But, they know Gigi Hadid,Cara Devlinge, Kendell Jenner etc. because they are American.So, American or Europeans don't accept Indians. It is really really really.......really tough for an Indian singer to become famous. Unless he/she becomes an American citizen and start their journey from there. Actresses and actors have to have a clear understanding of what they're meant to do on set. The people who have the best understanding of Korean are Korean people. I was just wonder since I have heard of a non-asian singer in Japan, but she was white and she was raise there since she was 7. I already know of Jero, but his grandma was Japanese. I was just wondering if a black girl whom has no asian origin can actually become a singer or actress in Japan. Since all of the non-asian actors/actresses I heard of were only white people and black men. I have never heard of a black girl whom is a singer or actress in Japan.
