Is It Possible If He Come Inside And Hide It From Me

DO cats try to hide when they know they are going to die?

I have had many cats with all kinds of personalities. Some indoor cats, some outdoor cats, some indoor/outdoor, some shy, some friendly. Anyway, it has been my experience that they all want to die in a different manner just as people do. I had one that wouldn't come out from under the couch for two months until we finally had him put down. And another that followed me from room to room until his dying day. What I can tell you, is that a cat that wants privacy is probably in pain and afraid to be handled. Because you also have to take into consideration that not all of them are in pain when they die. The best possible thing is to have a vet assess the situation unless your cat suddenly begins behaving normally. I hope everything is o.k. for you.

My bearded dragon keeps hiding, why?

He could just be stressed but there are a couple issues I'd like to address.

The first is your UVB. Is it a compact coil or a tube? Either way, I'm sorry to tell you that Reptiglo has been known to cause some health and eye problems. A compact coil in any brand has been known to cause problems or at the very least the compact coils do not emit the UVB as promised so are ineffective. The only recommended linear fluorescent bulb is the ReptiSUN 10.0 (not ReptiGLO) in the US or the Arcadia 12% in the UK (http://www.uvguide.co.uk)

Having a bad UVB will cause them to hide to get away from it because it is uncomfortable to them.

I really think his hiding just sounds like stress, but you still want to get a better UVB or it might cause health problems in the future.

Your basking temp is okay, but try to keep it at the upper end of that range or at least above 100. Do you measure the basking spot with a digital thermometer or temp gun?

I think locusts are fine as feeders, just make sure that they are smaller than the space between his eyes. Offer them 2-3 times a day and maybe he'll eat more. You don't have to dust every meal, just one a day for 5 days a week. Be sure to use calcium supplement and not an "all-in-one" type of supplement because they don't contain enough calcium. You can also get a multivitamin supplement to dust 1 meal a day for 2 days a week.

Most dragons don't recognize standing water as something to drink, but I wouldn't mist him inside his enclosure either. That can raise humidity and high humidity can cause a respiratory infection. The best way to hydrate him is with a bath a couple times a week. Bath time can be good bonding time as well.

You can remove the hide if he hides all the time. He really needs access to his basking light and UVB so if you think he is not getting enough exposure, just remove the hide. Continue to handle him regularly and he'll calm down soon enough. It's completely normal for a young baby to be skittish like that.

Please continue your research at http://www.beardeddragon.org to learn everything you need to know about taking care of your dragon!

Best of luck!

There's a stray cat hiding under our fridge?

He's made that spot his sanctuary, hes safe. but You need to get him out from under there. Just reach in and pull him out. Then take him to your bathroom (as small a room as possible) and set him down and leave him alone. He'll sniff his way around the room to familiarize himself with it. wait about a half hour or so and go in calmly talking to him and set down some food and water and a small litter box, gently put your hand as close to him as he'll allow, and let him sniff you. Then walk away. Do that every half hour or so for the first day or two that you have him. Eventually he'll trust you and the bathroom will be his safe haven, until he gets to know you and is safe he'll venture out into other parts of the house. Remember he's just a little guy in a HUGH world, you need to make him feel safe, first. Dont worry he won't starve to death if he doesn't eat, just leave him plenty of water. Good luck.

My Pet Rat Is Hiding and Won't Come Out!~HELP!?

I've seen a similar question like this but not similar enough...Rat lovers, please help me!

My new rat brothers of 3 days were out with me this evening in the bathroom where I thought I could get some bonding time in while supervising them. The room, (I thought) was rat proof, until Riley found a sizable slit in my bathroom sink cabinet...

He's been in here for hours, and I've tried baiting him out with limited success. I can hear him in the walls...and scuffling and gnawing, but he won't come out! When he comes part the way out to get the treats I've laid out, I try to grab him and he squeaks something awful and I'm so afraid I'm hurting him, I release him and he scurries off deeper into the cabinet.
I'm sure that he's petrified by now that he'll never get close again so that I can catch him!

I just got my ratties and I feel awful...
please any suggestions on how I can get Riley back to me and his brother?

I adopted a cat yesterday who is hiding under the bed, didn't use the litter pan, or drink any water all of last night. Is this normal? Will he be ok?

I hear this question a lot and recently our friends from the U.K. adopted a cat from a shelter near Nottingham. This was an abused cat that’s been previously returned twice to the shelter, but the lady of the couple fell in love with this all white beauty and took her home.Weeks went by and she would still hide under their bed all day long, barely coming out to eat and poop when they weren't around. Her husband had all but given up after a month and wanted to return her.We stepped in and recommended to try this “Scaredy Cat” herbal remedy distributed by a famous TV personality here in North America. I had previously used the same treatment on our of our 4 kitties that came down with stomatitis a couple of years ago while she was still a kitten. The antibiotics worked and she’s recovered from the inflammation in her mouth, but as a result she had gotten skittish from being chased to take her medication twice a day and also became rather depressed. Yep, cats can suffer from all the same mental and physical ailments that befall humans. So, we did 2 things, we tried this herbal remedy and also rescued another kitten her size from the shelter. She was always like “the middle child” ignored most of the time by her 2 older brothers one black & one ginger coloured cat, so we thought we’d make it an even 4 and get her a female playmate. Both have worked out incredibly well. She’s now the most cheeky & playful cat together with a slightly younger sister and she’s even buddied up to the 2 male cats in the household. The positive effects have so far kept any reoccurrences of stomatitis at bay and we have a happy clowder of 4.Going back to our friends in the U.K. after applying this herbal remedy to her coat and a couple of drops into her food, she started to gain confidence within days. After 2 weeks, (into month 2 and 3) she now sleeps with them in their bed and has become very playful and outgoing.Moral of the story is, do NOT give up. Ever! The more scared shelter cats are returned the more likely they will be euthanized. It’s not their fault some humans can’t understand them, but it requires patience & love to gain the trust of most pets, but especially felines. I fight a lot on social media to dispel myths and falsehoods about cat guardianship. Please know, there’s no such thing as a bad cat, only misunderstood ones and incompatible humans. Finally, always adopt, don’t shop!

Did my dad put hidden cameras in my house?

My family is going out of town later this month and leaving me home alone. Yesterday, I came home from school and my little brother warned me that a "repair man" had just left the house and my dad was having cameras installed...I'm not sure to beleive my 11 year old brother or not. Is he telling the truth or did my dad pay him 5 bucks to freak me out so I don't do anything while they're gone. My dad is a crazy ex marine so it really wouldn't be that out of the ordinary for him to do something like that, but then again I'm not sure. I don't know if he did this or not. And if he did... where do I begin to look for hidden cameras??? Help please!

2012 End of the world. Safe places to hide?

Ok so my friend used to work at area 51 and he told me absoultley everything he knows after he decided to go to a government bunker about 1500 miles underground we spoke in private a few years ago and he told me that 2012 will be a new begining and that the government knows all about this he told me that during 2012 december 21st 99.9% of the planet will be wiped out for a new race of aliens and humans (more advanced) he told me that millions of years ago something happened in a era that caused 99.9% of species on earth to be wiped out which I later learned about in science class and he told me that this will happen again this year. The reason the poulation will almost me depleted is because the government wants less people on the planet so it will be easier to control so there not telling people where to go during this tragic day so they can die off. When this day comes only people who actually work in the government ex.) president Obama,Bush,Clinton,Him,NASA,Everybody at area 51,Government scientist and thier families will be moved to this facilility and have been told everything that is going on and that will happen and they need these major targets to introduce as leaders of this planet and scientist to help explain these beings. The problem is only people that are high up are allowed to enter this facility and im not one of them. I know the location and have even seen it before when it was in construction while passing through a no fly zone but if you try to enter you will be shot . So I may move to the Himmalaya's but I am not a mountain climber and do not know any other safe places to be when this depletion of the human race happens so anybody are there anymore safe places out there?

How do I see when someone was last seen on WhatsApp if it is hidden?

Many users on WhatsApp hide their last seen activity due to privacy or some other reasons. Sometimes you are too desperate to check your friend’s or girlfriend/boyfriend’s or even your spouse’s WhatsApp last seen activity on your phone to know if they are ignoring you, but you can’t do anything only because they have hidden last seen on WhatsApp. But in case you want to check their last seen WhatsApp status even if hidden, read our guide below to check hidden last seen on WhatsApp.We will show you a way that will freak the crap out of it. Something that will blow your mind. Now you can check last seen activity of anyone’s WhatsApp using an app called WhatsDog [Available on Android Only]. Those who will install this app can actually see when the person came online and will track the people even if their WhatsApp last seen is hidden. Not only it will show you the last seen but also notify you when exactly the person came online on the notification bar. It also logs all the online and offline activity and stores in a calendar format. You’ve got a perfect weapon to grab anyone who lies to you or making you a fool. How to check hidden last seen on WhatsApp?Step 1:Open WhatsDog, tap on the big Start button. You’ll be asked to select a contact or enter a WhatsApp number. choose the number you want to spy on and hit continue. If you face an connection error try again.Step 2:Not so soon, you won’t be able to see the last seen activity as soon as you add a number. Once the person you have added comes online, the app immediately triggers the notifications. You can see all the activity inside the app when the person every time comes online, and when he/she has gone offline on WhatsApp. You can use the calendar to track them down. You can also check how much the person is addicted to WhatsApp and how many minutes of WhatsApp usage is done.Step 3:To add or change a new number, go to settings icon in the app, swipe up and select ‘Delete info’, the app will simply start from the step 1. Repeat the steps to change the number. You can only use one WhatsApp number at a time. One of the issues we found here is that you can’t check multiple people’s WhatApp online status at the same time. Also, the app has a huge advertisement popup that will annoy you very often. If you still can’t use the contact number, check the contact number you have entered. Also, check if the person has disabled their WhatsApp.

New kitten missing. Our new kitten has disappeared. There's no way he could have gotten outside, but we've turned the house upside down and there's no sign of him anywhere. Where could he be?

You say it’s a new kitten? The first thing new cats do after you bring them home is to disappear. That’s normal. :-)Your kitten is hiding somewhere where it feels safe, most likely under/behind/inside a piece of furniture. It will come out of hiding when it feels ready. This will be in a few hours or in a few days.Let the kitten come out when it’s ready. (By turning the house upside down, you’ve already scared the kitten, and now it’s going to hide for longer.)Your kitten will hide completely for a while. Then it will peer out of its hiding place to watch you. Once it feels confident that you pose no threat, it will allow you to see it, but it will still dart for cover if you get close. To speed up the process, move slowly and avoid making loud noises.Leave food, water and cat litter out where the kitten can see it. It will wait until you’re out of the room, and then make a quick dash to get some food, before returning to the hiding place. You can probably see that some food has been taken. This should reassure you that your kitten is safe and well. :-)My Sulu was a mine-month old kitten when I adopted him. As soon as we let him out of the carrier, he dashed somewhere - so fast that we couldn’t even see where he’d gone. For seven hours, he was not to be seen or heard. (I found out later that he had squeezed in the tiny space beneath the arm chair. I wouldn’t have thought it possible for him to fit underneath there.) Then I heard some noise on an unused radiator behind a curtain, and I knew he was exploring the parts of his new home where nobody could see him. It took a day before he ventured out to get food, and two days before he allowed me to see him. I think it was on Day 3 that he actually sat out in the open. He watched me attentively, but didn’t like it when I watched him. So I avoided looking at him, and he became more confident. After about a week, he was ready to be petted and make friends with me. We’re now close buddies. Please don’t chase and expose the kitten. Allow it to take all the time it needs. This way, it will soonest come to trust you.And stop worrying. All is well.I hope this helps.
