Is It Possible T O Loose 100 Pounds In 5 Days

Is it possible to lose 5 pounds a week?

A lot of factors are involved in quantitative weight loss and it all starts with your base weight. For the short answer, it is possible to lose 1 lb. a day in a safe way but you might regain some of that weight next week. You’ll have some rebound weight due to some hormonal factors and muscle development but it’s all part of the process. After a month or two, you’d see the scales smiling back at you.Let’s say you have a really safe and standard weight loss program. You have two subjects: X weighs 400 lbs. Y weighs 200 lbs. and they both have the same height and physiological makeup. For convenience, let’s say both of them have 100 lbs. of muscle covered in fat. (The average is 75 lbs for men and 50 for women but 100 is easier for mental calculation)X is normally able to shed 20–40 lbs. in one month because of their high fat-muscle ratio. Losing 40 lbs. in one month will sound INSANE for Y but it’s only 10% for X.For Y, it would be totally acceptable for them to lose just 10–20 lbs a month because he has a lower fat-muscle ratio.X has 200 lbs. more fat than Y and when you start dieting, you lose water weight but you won’t notice much physical changes yet since your body isn’t really focused on burning fat yet. You’ll probably be able to wear smaller pants or shirts but underneath your clothes is a lot of excess skin. Then you continue the diet. then you slowly and steadily build a good basal metabolic rate (BMR).BMR is your body’s fat-to-energy process and makes up around 70% of the calories you burn throughout the day, even when you’re not doing anything. Once you rev up your BMR, that’s when you start to really notice the changes in your body and the time where people start posting their before and after photos. From this point on, it’s only natural that you start losing less weight because you’re not as fat anymore. So for the first month, you might lose 10% of your weight but the second month, you’ll be lucky to get away with 10% but this 10% is quantitatively smaller. If you push through with your weight loss program, your body has probably adapted to this whole new fat-loss thing so it has a good bit of muscle now. When you have more muscle, you start to burn more fat naturally for energy. When you get bigger muscle, it usually means less fat to burn so you’ll be lucky to lose 5% this month. The third month is probably most people’s rebound month too since that’s the time they get bigger muscles and muscles are much more dense than fat.

Is it possible to lose 8 pounds in a month?

two pounds a week is the optimal rate at which to lose weight and it is completely doable. Keep your calories to 1200 in a day, drink two liters of water daily, and exercise daily, not just five days a week... the body doesn't get time off, neither do you.

Is it possible to lose 100 pounds in 250 days.?

Don't listen to that acai berry stuff. It doesn't work. Ive never tried it but honestly its just marketing trying to get you to buy overpriced blueberries. Anyways, realistically, no, it isn't possible to lose 100 pounds in 250 days. Assuming that its 100 pounds of fat and no muscle, that is quite alot. Have you seen what 1 pound of fat looks like? If you lost 1-5 pounds a month you should be happy. That is actually alot. Don't get caught up in the numbers, you can look good when your not the ideal weight for your size, age, etc., everyones body is different. Right now I weigh 215 and I ask people how much they think I weigh and they say 160. Its not all about the numbers is what im saying, if you can lose 1-5 lbs a month, you should be very happy. And drink lots of water!

And for your plan, Id suggest something like

Monday- Cardio/running

Tuesday- Arms, triceps, biceps

Wednesday-Cardio/running

Thursday-Chest, Back, Shoulders

Friday-Cardio/running

Saturday- Legs, abs, thighs/glutes

Sunday- REST

You should ALWAYS REST! And if your looking to build muscle you MUST eat protein after workout. Buy some whey protein shakes, they have the highest BV. You must consume protein after workout because the cells in your muscles start to divide and when you eat protein the protein goes straight to your muscles and rebuilds them, but when they rebuild it gets bigger than it was before. So basically, when you are sore after a workout, thats good! Just drink a whey protein shake after workout and you will build some nice muscle mass in a couple months, trust me.

You need to find a diet that will help you lose weight and become slim, but it must also leave you feeling satisfied with what you can eat.You need to follow a diet plan that is going to keep you feeling good. Im 22 years old and i weight 340 pounds! im trying to lose 100 pounds in 60 days! is it possible to do it? if so how can i do it! i need your help and support out of this

Is it possible to lose about 100 pounds in 8 months with good diet and excercise?

Here is what you need to do if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Lose weight) and you will have more energry.

If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads) in one and protein (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have any or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming, running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions, pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross country skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension) (YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull, leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. So your body doesnt go into starvation mode, YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF.

If you stick with this you will have a great body. also drink a least 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonalds, Wendys, etc because there is nothing good for you on the menus - even the salads are bad (bacon bits, cheese, dressing, etc)

Good Luck :)

Is it possible to lose 100 pounds in 6 months? How would you do it?

That would be 4.16 pounds a week, or 1.8 kg, on each week during those 6 months.I'm not saying it's impossible. But I don't think you can do it without adverse consequences. It is indeed possible, and frequent, to lose 4 pounds a week when you are starting a diet and you are very overweight, specially if you follow a ketogenic diet were you lose a lot of water weight in the first two weeks. But after that, the rate of weight loss slows down. A healthy rate of weight loss shouldn't exceed 2 pounds a week (with aggressive diet). A much better figure would be 1 pound.Losing more by taking extreme measures may be possible, but you would be losing more than fat, you'd lose a lot of muscle mass, bone density and quite possible your mental sanity. Been there, done that. Not recommended, at all.Losing weight is a marathon, not a Sprint. To lose it and keep it off you need a change of life. Diets are temporary and always end bad. Even if you lose weight, you'll gain it back if you don't change your habits. There are no easy fixes, no miracle diets. You just have to create a moderate caloric deficit, walk 40 minutes or an hour a day, and be patient.

Is it possible to lose 100 lbs in 100 days without metabolic consequences?

No way.100 lbs in 100 days is 1 lb per day. That's 3500 kcal per day.To accomplish this with a BMR of 1500 kcal you'd have to burn an additional 2000 kcal. And also not eat.You cannot sustain this for 100 days without becoming severely malnourished.Assuming you ate a sparce 1000 kcal per day, that's 1000 extra calories you'd have to burn to keep up your intended 1 lb/day weight loss. You're gonna be way too tired to burn 3000 kcal a day with physical activity on a 1000 kcal diet.
