Reliable ExpressCard manufacturers?
When I bought my laptop, it came with an ExpressCard/54 slot. After further research, I discovered that there are many laptops that have this hardware capability included. However, my search for ExpressCard/54/34 products has turned up very little. I really want to take advantage of this slot since my 2yo laptop is starting to show early signs of aging. Specifically, I was looking into the small SSD ExpressCard modules in the hopes of adding slightly more storage and better page-file performance. The ancient relative of the ExpressCard is the old PCMCIA CardBus modules that were common for Ethernet/Dialup expansion. If you were in my position, would you be willing to take a chance and buy one of these modules?
