Can I travel to Russia with 2 passports and 2 different names?
I was recently naturalized and took American name (ex. Jane Smith), my Russian passport both internal and travel have my native version of my name, which is totally different from my American passport. The question is : HOW can I travel to Russia with the Russian travel passport and buy tickets to my native name, but enter US with the American passport? Will I have any problems with the authorities? I would prefer to answer my question by someone who knows the answer and NOT assumes one. Thank you
We are 2 people planning to travel to 2 different destinations. Can I book a single ticket on IRCTC so that we get seats together?
Only miracle can do so,IRCTC is still so user un-friendly, i really failed to understand the logic being put forth in their system.I recently had to book 3 tickets for my family all from Point A to Point B, with fairly good time margin of 2 months advance and in desired AC 2nd class while booking ticket it was showing 27 seats available.To my utter surprise, after payment the ticket came out for all 3 Side Upper births. Not finding any use of these seats, i opted to immediately cancel the ticket which costed me Rs.630/- .I was puzzled and was be-fooled by IRCTC in simple 2 transaction by loss of Rs.630/-Can’t they offer seat options like Air Travel.Can’t they ask for payment after offering the seat nos.
Is it possible to transfer my Lot Polish Airlines e-ticket to someone else?
I have an airline ticket in my name for Lot Polish Airlines and I cannot travel due to personal reasons. I did not purchase cancellation insurance because that is only for medical or other 'unavoidable' emergencies, and my reason for not traveling is NOT one of those so it would not have been honored anyways.. I know of someone else who DOES want to travel to that destination and she wants to know if I can have her name transferred over to that ticket. Is such a thing possible? Is it possible to transfer an e-ticket for an airline flight to someone else? I read that this is NOT possible and not allowed due to revenue reasons.
Travel agencies suck? I have been trying to book my air-ticket and all the travel agents have different fares.
The problem is not just the travel agencies and online websites. The problem is how close you are to your departure. Air really needs to be booked a few months in advance to get the best prices. As you will get closer, prices are going to go up. Also, travel agencies don't really sell air only anymore. They usually sell it in packages. Since most airlines are having economical problems, they are no longer paying agents to sell the tickets. So they have to add a fee on to sell the tickets. The best options are now to go directly to the airline to get the tickets. The prices are usually lower, even compared to online discounters. But again, being so close to departure date, it is going to be hard to find good rates.
