Is it possible to survive after jumping off the George Washington Bridge?
Yes, but only about 20 out of 1,200 have done it on the Golden Gate Bridge. You must hit in nearly perfect vertical form, have enough breath to make it to the surface and be able to swim a long way to the shore. The golden Gate bridge is 746 feet high and the George Washington Bridge is 604 feet high. Both are way too tall to be a safe diving board. Acapulco cliff divers plummet up to 150 feet into the surf below but that is a lot less than jumping off the George Washington bridge.
Cliff Jumping?
My friends are going cliff jumping and i am stoked. But the only thing i am afraid of is if i might hurt myself, like once i hit the water. Dose anyone have any tips on the way i should jump, or the highest i should go etc. Thank you in advance
