Is It Racist To Be Upset At The Election Of David Wilson

Was Franklin Roosevelt racist against Black people?

Question: Was Franklin Roosevelt racist against Black people?Of course he was.He was a privileged White male who was born at the end of the 19th century. He never viewed Blacks, Latinos or Asians as his intellectual nor social, equals. While he wasn’t a segregationist along the lines of the Southern wing of the Democratic Party at the time, his views would not be seen as progressive even 20 years after his death.Roosevelt was more of an opportunist than anything else. He didn’t press civil rights because doing so would have cost him Southern and Midwestern votes. He didn’t propose anti-lynching legislation because it would cost him crucial support in Congress. And he didn’t press the issue of disenfranchisement as the Black and Latino votes he might gain wouldn’t offset the White votes he would lose. He essentially did what he needed to do to maintain his grasp on power.FDR was as a racist by today’s standards, as that was what was socially acceptable at the time. Again, he wasn’t a segregationist. However, he did not view non-Whites to be the equals of White Americans.

Are we seeing the end game on Donald Trumps Presidency?

Unfortunately no.Trump is incredibly selfish and he will not go down without a fight even if it sacrifices the United States government. You can see how he handles the press making every negative news story “False News” and any investigation of him by the FBI or the Justice Department as political hacks. He extends the polarization of American Politics for his own gain and hides behind the Religious Right even when you know he doesn’t believe himself. He courts the Extreme Right Wing to the point where you have to believe he is a racist himself. So I cannot imagine that he will stop pushing his agenda even if it totally destroys and trust by the American People of the Press, The Justice System, and the Government itself.I hope the American People will not go as far as another Civil War, but I have to believe that Trump is willing to go that far…

How will Republicans respond to President Trump's firing of FBI Director Comey?

As an Eisenhower Republican who stopped voting Republican when it became clear that the strategy of the crypto-Nazis who have hi-jacked the GOP has been to stack the Supreme Court with Fascists in 1988, my complaint about Comey was that he threw the election to Trump with his letter to Congress in October. The rest of the “Crooked Hillary” mythology that gives both liberals and Trump voters great comfort I ignore as lacking the substance of swamp gas.I disagreed with Comey’s letter, but, in retrospect, he did the right thing. If he had kept the emails secret, it would have leaked out if Trump had lost and the crypto-Nazis would have continuted their agenda of constitutional constipation trying to impeach and convict President Clinton. And the FBI would have been discredited for being partisan against Trump. If he had announced FBI investigation into the Russian collusion and Trump lost, a similar crypto-Nazi crises would have erupted AND,not only would the FBI be discredited, their investigations would have been fatally compromised, Chatter about the Russian connection had already surfaced in the debates and he, Comey, really didn’t need to show his hand. So, his decision was to risk influencing the election in Trump’s favor to avoid the risk to the FBI after the fact, one way or another, and he lost the bet that it wouldn’t affect the election. BUT the public knowledge of and interest in, the Russian connection has not injured the FBI investigation but actually accomplished what I think was Comey’s strategy in the first place: to ensure that this Russian intervention would be exposed, examined and digested by as wide a public audience as the Watergate hearings, and that any attempted cover-up would be facially criminal and politically fatal to the crypto-Nazi actors dependent upon the vote for their paychecks, health care and pensions who, not incidentally, supervised the obstruction of Obama’s economic renewal agenda for 6 years. It seems Comey’s firing has shaken the adult leadership of the GOP out of its dognatic slumber. How the crypto=Nazis are running the GOP is Comey’s target. Pick your metaphor: Comey’s firing can be seen as either (a) a bridge too far or (deux) a Trojan horse. Or Trump’s Tar Baby, who don’t say nothing.
