Like Tokyo Ghoul:Blue Exorcist: A boy by the name of Rin Okumura discovers that he’s a half demon and the son the Satan. He goes to True Cross Academy, an exorcist school, so he can become an exorcist and defeat Satan.Deadman Wonderland: Ganta Igarashi, a middle school boy, is framed for the murder of his entire class. He’s thrown into Deadman Wonderland, a prison like facility, and he tries to escape. Several characters have Deadmen powers which let them control their blood and form attacks with it.No.6: A boy named Shion helps a criminal escape from the authorities. Shion and the criminal, Nezumi, eventually meet each other again and must survive together on the outside of No.6, a huge city. It’s similar mainly because both main characters go through somewhat drastic physical changes and live in a dystopian society. Also, some people think Shion looks like Kaneki.Like Mirai Nikki:Danganronpa the Animation: Several students arrive at a school and are forced to participate in a killing game. They must figure out who the murderer is or they’ll die while the murderer gets away. (This is also a video game series and there’s a sequel to the anime.)Gantz: Two teens die, come back to life and are forced to kill aliens. They’re put into a group with other people who happened to come back to life and they have to fight together. Lots of people die in this and there’s gore. (Note: The plot’s good but the fanservice was too much for me so I dropped it. It’s freaking hentai level… Anyway, if you don’t mind fanservice, you might like it.)Juni Taisen (Zodiac War): The 12 zodiac signs are personified and have to take part in a killing game. (This is currently airing. )
