Is It Right To Take Shortcut When It

Should you take shortcuts in life?

Some are beneficial. In college I tested out of some classes. This saved money and shortened my time for graduation. Consider the reason you want a short cut and weigh the pros and cons. If it helps you and doesn't cause any undesired consequences then go for it. Short cuts cannot help in relationships. These require time, effort and patience.

Why shortcuts are not the right path to success?

Only Sustained Success matters in life because it enables us to maintain our lifestyle. Yes, some people succeed in no time but have you found out how early they have a downfall? It is the foundational base on which the success rests. If it is weak a business cannot stand on it for long.Same is the case with employees too. If someone gets a job by hook or crook, it doesn't gives the certainty that he/she will remain in the job for long as “performance” is mandatory to retain the job. Lack of which will result in firing from the job.P.S. At times, the success seems overnight but it is not. People would have worked hard day in & day out to reach to that height yet we remain unaware of their efforts because IT'S THE ONLY RESULTS SPEAKS (*we don't give much damn prior to the results are out & hence miss out the times when one engaged himself/herself in extreme hard-work).

Are there any real shortcuts in life?

If you become a neurosurgeon by taking a weekend course, guess what would be the result????….the result would be a terrible topsy-turvy with lives.Okay let me share with you all a story I recently read in shiv khera’s popular book ‘YOU CAN WIN’Once there was s lark singing in the forest. A farmer came by with a box full of worms. The lark stopped him and asked, ‘what do you have in the box and where are you going?’ The farmer replied that he had worms and was going to the market to trade them in order to get some feathers. The lark said, ‘I have many feathers. I will pluck one and give to you and you will save me from searching for worms.’The farmer gave the worms to the lark and the lark in return plucked a feather and gave to the farmer. The next day the same thing happened and the day after and on and on until a day came when the lark had no more feathers. Now it could no longer fly to go hunting for worms. It started looking ugly and stopped singing and eventually met the fatal end.Reading till this much I am sure everyone can presume how shortcuts lead to perilous predicaments…The above story typify the behavior of fools, who for their short-term gain, eventually suffer long term pains…The moral of the story is quite clear—what the lark thought was an easy way to get food turned out to be the tougher way. There are no shortcuts in life..Isn’t the same thing true in our lives…??Many a times we look for the easier way ,which really ends up being the tougher way.The key is to get to the root of the problem and not just go with the shortcuts. Same is true about our attitudes of bitterness and resentment and these attitudes keep cropping up in different parts of our lives….Hope the readers could relate my analogy to this question…And of course,I loved the words of a fellow quoran who says , “Why looking for shortcuts?? We should take life as it is. Enjoy life, mate. No one gets a prize for finishing life first.” … Indeed that is it…..Thanks for reading

Is there a shortcut to enter the ISRO?

Yes there is. Not many of us are aware of it.Lets take the case of Vijay who wanted to be a scientist in ISRO since his childhood. He attempted JEE but could not secure a rank high enough to get into IIT. So, he opted for some NIT in some branch and landed up with a B.Tech degree and a Job in private company. Then, he competes with thousands of people in ISRO exam to qualify for the few post of scientist in ISRO.Quite a tough process, right?Let’s take the case of Ajay, his childhood dream also is to be an ISRO scientist. He also got similar rank in JEE. But, Ajay is smart. He knows shortcuts. He joins Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST). After finishing his B.Tech., he directly get recruited as scientist. Because, IIST has a tie up with the ISRO that most of good students of IIST will be placed in ISRO.Now lets consider the case of Dhananjay. He is Civil Engineering student. HE also wants to be a ISRO Scientist. He also knows shortcut. He attempts GATE and take admission in water resource engineering/Remote sensing because he knows that ISRO does conduct direct walk-in interviews for scientist vacancies for M.Tech water resources/Remote sensing candidates.[1]Footnotes[1] Image on wp.com

Why did titanic take the short cut???

Actually, Titanic did not take a short cut. The captain actually did alter the course slightly farther south to try to avoid the icebergs he'd gotten warnings about. However, that year the spring had been particularly warm and the icebergs were in greater number and farther south than usual. Titanic was going too fast for those conditions, the likely reason being that the shipping company wanted the ship to make headlines by arriving in New York sooner than expected. Well, they made headlines all right...!

What should I do if my neighbors use my backyard as a shortcut to get to the neighborhoods common amenities?

you are going to be "that neighbor" sooner or later. i'm "that neighbor" to THOSE neighbors.

so 2 things come to mind...

the 1st is to put up a fence. even a little 1 foot tall landscaping cute fence would give them the idea till you get the big one up. most people fence in their back yards anyways.

OR... have fun with them. next time run out there and introduce yourself. talk about where you just came from and ask them a million questions. don't forget to show them a scar or talk about up coming doctors appointments. then the next time you see them out there, dart out as fast as you can, tell them you've been waiting for them. that you watch the back all the time. update them on your bowl movements and show them pictures of the kids. ask for their phone number "just in case"

2-3 times of that and they will avoid any area you are.

How do I make desktop shortcuts on Windows 10?

It depends what you want to create a shortcut to:Folders or Documents: From the desktop's File Explorer, right-click a favorite folder or document, choose Send To, and select the Desktop (Create Shortcut) option. The shortcut appears on your desktop.Websites: On Internet Explorer, see the little icon in front of the website's address in Internet Explorer's Address bar? Drag and drop that little icon to your desktop for quick access later. (As of this writing, the Microsoft Edge browser doesn't let you create desktop shortcuts.)Control Panel: The desktop's Control Panel contains eight sections, each with links beneath it. Every icon and link in Control Panel can be dragged onto your desktop to create a shortcut. (An easy way to access the Control Panel from the desktop is to right-click in the screen's bottom-left corner and choose Control Panel from the pop-up menu.)Storage areas: Open File Explorer with a click of its icon on the desktop's taskbar. From the Navigation Pane along File Explorer's left side, drag and drop any storage area you want to the desktop. Windows immediately places a shortcut to that drive on your desktop. (This works for your main OneDrive folder, This PC, flash drives, disc drives, and even network locations.)Referenceshttp://www.dummies.com/how-to/co...
