Is It Safe To Let My 3 Month Boxer Go Under My Deck

How do I discourage or stop my 3 yr. old pit and 6 month old fox ter.mix from digging?

I have a pitbull and a yorkie.
They have some stuff that u can spray on the where they dig at petstores, just ask a worker. And just tell them "NO" and be firm and consistant.
Just a question:Are they indoor or outdoor dogs? Mine are indoor and i've never had a problem with digging.

How do you get rid of mothball smell from carpet?

Hi, Ben.

Unfortunately, I've never found anything that removed the smell of mothballs. If it was your carpet (and not your mother's), I would suggest you rip up the carpet and throw it away. That would help. But even that would not remove all the mothball smell. That smell is very persistent and also very toxic.

Personally, I think mothballs should be banned. The chemical in mothballs, Naphthalene, is extremely toxic and is associated with hemolytic anemia, damage to the liver, and neurological damage.

If you show your mother the link listed under "Source" below, she might consider getting rid of the carpeting.

As for the mothball smell you're now facing, time will eventually eliminate the smell, but it could take months or even a year to dissipate. I've never found a solution other than time...baking soda doesn't help and neither does vinegar or air freshener. Mothballs create an extremely stubborn and poisonous smell.
