Vicodin and Nyquil?
Lately I haven't been able to sleep at night, like it takes me until 6 in the morning to fall asleep. Last night at about 1:30 A.M. I took a vicodin (I don't know the mg) and about 2 or 3 times (I just drink form the bottle) the normal amount of nyquil. I slept so good last night it was amazing, even better than when I take sleeping pills. So is vicodin and nyquil bad to mix, like if I did it once a week so I get one good night of sleep is that really bad?
Is it safe to take vicodin before going in a hot tub?
I was prescribed lortab for tailor's bunion. I only take it when it's very inflamed and painful, like now. However, I made plans to go to a korean spa with a friend. I took 10mg, would it be safe to enter a hot tub and/or sauna and steam room? I don't particularly like hot tubs much, so i won't stay in long, however i do love the steam room. They also have a hot clay room, would that be safe? Idk if this is important to mention, but i had open heart surgery when I was a baby (VSD repair). I've been healthy as a horse ever since (well, except the foot deformation). I know I need to be careful around hot tubs in general (according to my mom). Also, if i take 10mg, I don't feel dizzy or ill at all. Just a little sleepy later on.

hi this is Mickie, just took my ambin so some words are phonic i take vike'z (7 yrs) for my fibro my al ju, my C3,4,5 & S1 & L5 are bulging. the vike'zs have alot of ty la nal IN THEM your only suppose to take 400 mg daily per my doc. the vike'zs have that much unless you take the 375's which have much less tynol in them, so to answer question 2 vike'z 2 hrs ago probally the 500's or the 750's didnt work CALL your DOC he will probally tell you to take 2 more vike'zs and1-2 pm's, or the opp sit most people get sleepy when they take vicoden(if its the generic vike'z not suprized it didnt take pain away. get new mri, get tested for fibromayliga. if you take any other meds call a 24 hr walgreens or cvs and ask. how do you stop pain in back fast hot bath ,lobster red(as hot as you can take it) dont smoke,no tv music (soft) may work praying will usually do it for everyone. if you take nothing for sleep try the pm if you try anything else ambin cr, ambin reg which do work!!! you'll sleep great!! for 8 hrs& u take it more than 5 days in a row YOUR HOOKED. the cr's dont do a thing for anyone who has been on reg ambin. but check with a DOC 1st because you know why ur back hurts and i dont.hope ur pain free soon.
Vicodin and tramadol in the same day?
You don't need to worry! When Pain meds are taken for the correct reasons (pain) most people do not become addicted(usualy only people who are pre disposed to addiction have this problem) Your Idea of alternating meds is good for it will keep your tollerance for one or the other from going up as fast. Just be sure to take the pills exactly as directed. Your Doctor may have you "taper off" the vicodin when you no longer need it yet it is my oppinion that you will have no problems at all as long as you take the pills as directed. I was on the Fentanyl patch along with oxycodone instant release for breakthrough pain for six months and had no difficultys when I got off them (long term use DOES make your tollerance go up though) Both of these meds are MUCH stronger tha vicodin. I have leftover vicodin from when I got my wisdom teeth out and...?
the problem is just one tonight and then maybe one tomorrow and then two the next time then you run out and then you go by from the street bc you like how they feel. Dont get me wrong if givin the option i would take them. you bet your a$$. I have problems sleeping too. Its like my mind will not stop thinking. i have taken benadryl before to knock me out. but dont start the habit. not good. good luck Also takiing as prescribed doesnt mean to take it for sleep. it means for pain as it is an analgesic. and careful not to take to much bc it does contain acetaminophen
