I don't want my future child to look like me because I am very ugly. What can we do to get a child who doesn't look like us but still our own?
I’m honestly amazed that no one has already said what I am about to say - do people not understand where children come from? Anyway, if you find yourself ugly and do not want your child to look like you, I can suggest one thing not to do, and one thing to do, and science will back me up.Don’t get yourself cloned. This is probably pretty easy, since unless you find a particularly dodgy and unethical geneticist somewhere like North Korea, nobody would even take you seriously if you told them you wanted to be cloned. But being cloned is your best chance of having a kid that looks just like you, so don’t do that.Do find someone to be the kid’s other parent who you get along with really well and like on a lot of levels, but who looks nothing like you. Someone from a different ethnic group in a different country on a different continent might be a good start. Different facial features, hair, skin tone, and so on.I have a totally different hair type and color, and a totally different skin color, than my wife.Our kids have totally different hair types and colors, and totally different skin colors, than either of us.

PLEASE BE HONEST!!!! I don't like my skin tone, sometimes at school I would look at the mirror and feel really insecure because most of my friends are pale. I got the ugly genes?
Ugly is a harsh word considering it's not true for anyone. Everyone has a beautiful feature on their body, for some more then others but still nobody is ugly. What some people call gorgeous may be hideous to others, we all just have different opinions. If you truely believe that you are ugly then that's fine but I just want you to know that it's probably not many people's opinions and that there may be a guy that loves you for what you look like and who you are and if you change that it might break his heart. If you want to change your looks then go ahead but please don't change who you are. If you have acne then use a facewash, like Clearasil. If you have dry skin then use a moisturizer like Aveeno. If you have an uneven skin tone then use a foundation that matches. Then use mascara to emphasize your eyes and lipgloss to make your lips pretty then blush to give you a warm glow and you should be set to go gorgeous.
Can you be a model if you have bad skin?
Yes, you can be a model any shape, size, skin colour or race! No one is perfect, they usually just want a photograph of you with no make-up just to get a feel of how your skin is and it's tone and what make-up to use etc. In the photos they will fix any flaws like if you have a zit they will photo shop it or use make-up. If a modeling agency rejects you remember to shrug it off and move on they aren't worth your beauty. Good luck in modeling! Ugh, to the above comments ignore them. You don't have to have PERFECT skin no one is perfect. Just stay calm don't get stressed drink lots of water. I applied to be a model and they accepted me and I had bad skin and that didn't matter. Some agency's might even look for girls with bad skin for a certain product they are selling like Proactiv they may want someone with some acne so they can show how it works. You might get rejected but it's no big deal you have to be thrown around a few times to make it big. If you try your best you will make it.
Why do people think dark skin is ugly ?
im 14 im a freshmen.. mexican .. and i have very DARK brown skin :( i hate it no guys like me because of my skin color. im very self conscious about myself . ever since i was little ive been made fun of my dark skin. my dad just used to call me "dark" or "darky" how mean. all my friends would be like why are you so dark ? my other friend used to call me "corn dog" and ugh i just hate myself. i dont have boobs ! & all my other friends do . &plus someone told me "bright colors dont look good on dark people" im always wearing long sleeves or a sweater bcuz i feel ugly when i wear short sleeves. all my other mexican friends are light skinned with light brown hair. and im just dark with black hair and pitch black eyes. im so ugly , all the guys i think are cute dont like me , or im invisible to them . why is dark skiin so unattractive ? :( i hate looking at myslef in the mirror -.-

I'm not sure I'm best placed to answer this question, as I've never looked at a man (or woman) and thought that person is ugly, I'm going to look away. What person does that?Real beauty is in the soul, or at least that's what I think. All skin tones are beautiful. Despite being brought up in an all White village up until I left for university, I never once concerned myself that I was darker skinned than everyone else. In fact, my school friends envied my olive skin tone, always trying to show off that they were darker than me when they returned from holidays abroad.I recall watching skin whitening commercials when my parents watched their Asian programmes on Sky. I was just perplexed, why would anyone want to damage their beautiful skin. I'd be grateful to have healthy skin, if you watch documentaries on people that suffer severe skin conditions, you appreciate how lucky you are.If someone doesn't find me attractive because they consider me dark, then I'm just not the right person for them. I can't change my skin colour, this is me. The most important thing in life is to value yourself, work hard, be kind, and there will be someone out there, like me, that loves a person for who they are.P.s. My dad's skin was a lot darker than the rest of my family. Anyone that met him always asked what his secret was, as he had no wrinkles. In hospital when he was dying, the nurse remarked he had the most beautiful skin she's seen. The porter in my building is originally from Africa, he has the most beautiful flawless skin I've seen, he's 65, and looks 40! Count your blessings, you'll most likely age well! Why is Dark chocolate considered ugly.?
People can be so immature and ignorant, don't let people define you because of the color of your skin, you were made that shade because it is beautiful to GOD and he likes variety, your skin color is probably beautiful. You do not need people to tell you that your skin is beautiful and that it doesn't matter what shade you are because it is something that you need to believe deep down within, their are people in this world who are of all colors which is a beautiful thing, Trust, everyone gets teased for something no one is perfect!! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and who ever is teasing you probably has 110 things wrong with them. Your Family, Friends, and Future boyfriend should like/love you for YOU!! and your beautiful personality, looks come and go, but the true beauty is within, and is everlasting!! P.S your Probably just as beautiful on the outside as the inside!! We are our own worst critics and what you see is not necessarily what someone else sees, they may think that you are the most beautiful person they have ever seen!!
