Are kids smarter than adults?
No way, not at all.I have 2 kids, 11 Nieces and nephews. Most adults will outsmart them when little. Once they get older it is not as easy, but still they still lack experience. Arround 18 years old you can finnaly start asking for ideas or have a real conversation.It is kind of hard to prove (becasue most adults already know that), but It literally takes years for a kid to learn how to add or multiply, or how to read. You can teach an adult that if a couple of months.Some kids look smart because they know stuff that adults don’t. But knowing the lirics of the latest songs or how to open a PDF or how to use a phone is not really something that will label anyone as “smart”.

Their intelligence is said to be the product of centuries of persecution in Europe.“Asian” people are not more intelligent, and same goes for their babys.

Smarter? Hm. More like unaware. They have this innocent way of thinking. It's pure. I'd say it's better to see with the unclouded eyes of a child than jaded views we adults have. Why do so many people try to reclaim part of their youth by different endeavors? To get close to that purity they once had. Children are humble. They can see things we adults are not able to see anymore. They also cannot see, the difference that would cause animosity. They're blissfully unaware. Still, don't mistake. Some children are wolves in sheep's clothing. Little monsters. Those are the ones that were exposed too early to the trials of adulthood. Sadly, they've lost part of their innocence all too soon.

Children don’t have prior experiences to judge new siduations on. This means children have the potential to be more open minded and see things more clearly. This is not indicative of intelligence but more clarity because the world has not influenced their thoughts yet.This is why a child is so literal at times. Things are what they are and that’s all they know. Their most base instincts are food and to be cared for. I would say babies are very good at getting what they want most of the time because that’s how they are wired.The ones I love are children that are just getting a grasp of the language and adults mistake their literalness for being smartasses. Children don’t generally aim for that but can come across that way because adults see the world from a different perspective. For instance children are working with a limited vocabulary so they may use a more creative approach to communication.Children display a level of measurable intelligence based on how well they mimic others or create indapendent thoughts. Adult intelligence is base on several metrics and a more broad spectrum. This happens not because adults are smarter but because they have more experiences and there are contributing factors that affect the adult development.Some people believe at the time of birth till one year a child holds the secrets of the universe. Others may believe children are incoherent screaming creatures with little use till they are older. Personally I think children are the smartest from 1–5 because their minds are creating new pathways faster than any adults brain. They pick things up very quickly and retain it much longer. Again this does not mean they are smarter just much faster at mental development.
Do you believe children are smarter than adults?
In some things yes.There minds are fresh and not cluttered like the adults. So they think quickly and spontaneously whilst the adult is still trying to figure out what to do the children already know what to do. A good example of this is trying to figure out how my new phone or computer works and my kids 10, 11 and 12 already knows what to do. Even my 7 year old daughter seems to be better than me at using the phone and it's apps.Are they smarter than adults? Yes , to some degree.
Can sometimes teens be smarter than adults?
Sure they can, but I have to say, the overlap is not as much as some make it out to be. From your teens to your 20’s, your life experience, wisdom, common sense, social skills, and ability to understand the world increase massively. There really is a huge difference, and I wouldn’t have believed it as a teenager. I had to experience it myself to understand it.I believed, said, and did some very stupid things as a teenager and, looking back, I can say that I’m way too smart for those things now. That’s why I kind of laugh when teenagers talk about how they’re the future and we need to get those crusty adults out of the office because they don’t know anything. How about waiting until your brains are fully developed before making a judgement like that.
Why do some adults think they are so smart?
as a 17 year old. i must say, i have encountered, some adults. who think they are so smart, and critizided me, for my grammar and my spelling. almost making me sound stupid the funny thing, was 1 was a teacher- who does not make much money at all and the other was a police officer- these people are making jack sh#t in terms of money- and have the nerve to almost pick on myself? i consider my self an adult, i pay for my gas, and my insurance. despite the fact that my parents could easily pay for it. i may not be the best in terms of essays, and grammar. but i am smarter than what they think
