Is It True That If The Majority Of Users Say The Same Thing It

Is it true that some people never change?

Change is inevitable. When my Grandmother was alive, she would tell me stories of the “old days.”She especially liked to inform me of the difficult times that she and my grandfather went through, to help me when I was feeling overwhelmed. She would say things like:“Your Grandfather lost his job 3 times during our marriage, but we always seemed to make it.”“Those were the times where we learned the most.”“It toughened us, kept us humble and grateful.”“As a young girl and early on in my marriage, I was so shy, but then I found my voice.”“I learned that I didn’t always have to say yes.”“I used to turn heads when I walked down the street, but now people turn their head to see if I need assistance.”Everyone changes mentally, emotionally and physically. Some changes are intentional such as decisions about jobs, relationships, and having children or not.The majority of change that happens to us are unintended, unexpected or unwanted. Things like aging, health problems, loss of a job, and people in our lives that come and go.Both intentional and unintentional change can create the most growth, if we allow ourselves to learn from them.Is it true that people never change?

If the majority thinks something is true, does it make it right?

One of my favorite quotes:What's right isn't always popular, what's popular isn't always right.(Not sure of the exact author of this quote. Some sources credit Albert Einstein for this saying, some attribute it to Howard Cosell.)One of the most famous Greek philosophers, Plato was also against democracy, and this was part of my Philosophy course back in high school. It made me ponder over it a lot, and was an eye-opener, as I naively used to believe that the "Majority is always right" was always correct. And oh boy, I was so wrong! As the years went along, I learnt it in different ways. For those who would get this Indian reference (I'm Indian of origin), here goes one of my favorite analogies:Not all Bollywood movies that gross over 100 crores at the box office are good movies. Infact, more often than not, they end up being horrible cinema (the Salman Khan and Shahrukh masala movies). In fact, many of the brilliant pieces of cinema in Hindi cinema, tend to be the unnoticed small films (such as Ship of Theseus, or The Lunchbox), that don't gross all that much at the box office. All that being said, in a lot of situations, the majority usually is right. (I would even be tempted to say "most of the time, the majority is actually right")And on the other hand, sometimes people just group along to support a "wrong cause", outnumbering the people "who are right".

What would happen if a majority of the people voted for a NOTA (None Of The Above) option?

I differ with some of the opinions mentioned by people how NOTA is useless and absolutely not worth it. I agree not immediately but it will have an impact. This is my opinion:Last time (or before that in some places)we had elections we didn't have NOTA, the system isn't constant, it's constantly changing, we have the responsibility to make the change happen in the right direction. It's a fact that even if majority votes NOTA, still the next candidate wins. But it's a wrong conclusion saying that it has no impact whatsover, that's not a fact., that's a wrong conclusion. Why do people have a notion it's not worth putting NOTA?. They are still counted, and reported duly. We now have a number instead of a vague opinion that candidates are unfit. One PIL is enough to push the system in right direction. There is immense power to be harnessed if used. This is just the first step, you can't expect to reach you destination with just the first step or stop your journey since you don't reach your destination in the first step. If enough people put NOTA in enough places, the system would be forced to rethink it's stature on using NOTA, so how can you say it has no impact? We the people have the responsibility to put the country in the right pathWe the people have to criticize, comment and correct the systemWe and only we have the power to do so... Adios...

People say dell makes horrible products is that true ? Like laptops?

Dell makes great products, across the board. I've owned multiple of every product they make (desktop, laptop and gaming laptop). Their service and warranty are better then anyone else, hands down.

Either 72% of Yahoo Answers Environment users agree that climate science funding should be eliminated, or something fishy is going on with the voting system.

Materialist vs. spiritual?

A keen spiritual heart and mind can avert by unity, the majority of people are missing the point.

Is MLB rigged? Most people keep saying every single game is rigged and I am just wondering if that's true so is MLB really rigged?

Most people? I don't know a single person who thinks that. Yes, there are a few morons out there who think that every thing is rigged. They also tend to believe that Elvis is alive and managing a Burger King in Kalamazoo.

The simplest way top disprove is to simply say that there is no way in hell that the thousands of people needed to pull off such a scam would not include a single one that would speak out at some point. And the bottom line is this - there is way too much money involved for them to rick blowing it by having someone find out it was fixed. Next time you run into one of these people (and I'm guessing you must know a lot since you think "most" think this way) I suggest you run away from them as quickly as possible - just in case their stupidity is contagious.

Is it true that the Dutch don't want people learning Dutch?

What?! No! We WANT you to learn Dutch. We DEMAND you learn Dutch. Don't dare not to learn Dutch. If you're a tourist, we will forgive you everything and speak only English with you, until you leave. But if you live here and you don't speak Dutch we think:You're dumbYou're an arrogant bastard (you think you can get away with just English? No way)You're from the mountains and never saw any civilised peopleIf you've migrated to The Netherlands we will immediately address you in Dutch. If it turns out you don't speak it yet, we will give you unsolicited advice about Dutch courses. We expect that you will be able to speak a little Dutch after a month. After a year, we expect you to speak like a native. Okay, we will forgive you the accent, but please don't you dare make grammatical mistakes. If you do, we will tell you, in our typical Dutch direct way: ‘Your Dutch sucks. You know, there's this course that can really help you, shall I look it up for you?’On the other hand, we are pleasantly surprised if it turns out your Dutch is remarkably good. If you look foreign and you address us in flawless Dutch, we will exclaim: ‘Wow, your Dutch is really very good!’ We think you spent months practicing the pronunciation and grammar. However, most of the times the foreign looking person will answer: ‘Of course my Dutch is good, I was born here, I went to the same school as you. Only my grandmother was born in Morocco.’ Oops. Please, start today. And please learn how to pronounce ‘gezellig’. We will love you.

Why do some Indian people say they have the same skin color as White people and attack Black people?

Most Indians are dark and brown. And Aishwaraya Rai (India's fair and lovely and "Most Beautiful Woman in the World") is tanned compared to a White or Asian person, and they have Brown tone in their skin rather than a Peach. And some light Black people also have the same light caramel complexion as Aishwarya and some Indians are also really black.

Question is not meant to be racist towards Brown people, but I am wondering why they are racist towards African Americans when they have the same brown skin color.

Albert Einstein - "Racism is a disease of white people". What do you think of this quote?

Let's just say white people are more prone to be racist than any other people on earth.
