What would happen if you got lost in the forest and you don't have an Internet?

If you are lost in forest and you don't know how to get out of it, then:If there is no internet in you mobile, switch it off or keep it at minimal battery usage mode. You can check for network connection after every few minutes while walking. If you were in a group that may be near you and searching you, then try to lite a fire and create smoke so that they can know your position and find you following the smoke. Also, decide a meeting point before starting. But if you are alone, check your resources like water, food, medicine and a weapon to protect you from wild animals. If you have extra luggage then you should reduce according to your need so that you don't have to carry useless things with you.If you are near a hill or a high point, just climb to its top and look around to find smoke, light source, human habitat, road or river.Sun in day and North Star in night will show you directions. Decide the direction in which you have to go and start your journey if you have found something mentioned in the above point. But if you cannot find anything and you don't know where to go. Just decide one direction as per your knowledge of the forest and start walking in that direction. You should not lose that direction otherwise you may end up walking in circles finding nothing. If you find some fruits collect them or if you are a good hunter, hunt something small that you can carry for food.If you find a river or flowing source of water. Collect water from it but don't drink stagnant dirty water. Start following the flow of river as you can find a village or human habitat on river banks. Before its getting dark, if you didn't find any help, find a good spot to spend a night. Gather some dry firewood, lite a fire to keep you warm and wild animals away from you throughout the night. If you are lucky you may find help soon but if not don't get frustrated, have patience and keep trying as long as you don't find a way out of the forest.Internet is not going to help you everywhere. Always keep a map of the forest that you are trekking, do some homework and carry notes about the forest. Survival tricks, physical fitness, knowledge of plants and animals is also necessary.

If you were lost in the forest with nothing but trees, what would you be doing?

Well, I would really enjoy it. Lost in the forest of trees, how wonderful would that be. But suppose I wanted to go home, there are still few more things I can do, it requires my knowledge of where in the world I am—say I should know what country I’m in, or at least at which hemisphere of the world I am.And by the way there are different kinds of trees, such a fruit trees so you know what I’m gonna do. I’m gonna feed and collect some food to prepare myself. If you can hear water flowing, look for it, as most streams and rivers will lead you to a human settlement, if not the shore, where you can find help. It’s not all the time, but worth the try. As most humans settle tend to be near a body of water for sustenance.Since I’ve mentioned I should know where I am, I could then look at the sun, it rises from the East, and sets to the West, the left of East is North, and so knowing South follows.Suppose you are in the middle of Russia, try going Southwest. The capital, Moscow is in the West side of the country, also there are more countries on this side, that’s in Europe and Middle East, if you choose to go Southeast, you’ll probably end up in China, but still a remote part of China. So you’ll better chances of finding humans if you so Southwest from the middle of Russia.Suppose you are in the Philippines, you still need to know which island you are in. If you are in the Luzon Island, there are better chances by going either East or West, depending which is more mountainous—go the opposite way, but going either North or South can be much longer.

What would you Do if you were Lost in the forest?

Sit in stillness and listen and feel and be move towards the right direction of the way aka the word aka the TRUTH of the Forest aka the world aka the Universe aka the purpose and will of Jehovah

Problem solving and Math question 4 Very long math problem! Please help Thank you?

On the fifth day when all the peanuts were gone ed and judy took a hike to the store to get more peanuts. Onthe way back they got lost in the middle of a forest. The area they were in measured approx.13 miles from north to south and 14 miles from east to west. When they discovered they were lost they were at a point that was 7 miles from the southern border and 7 miles from the eastern border of the forest. In their indecision as to whether they should was east (toward morning sun), west (toward setting sun), south (toward the direction which they came), or north (because they might be wrong about the direction they came in) they decided to walk in all four directions. they devised a plan whereby they would walk north first for 30 minutes. If they werent out of the forest yet they would then turn right and walk east for 60 minutes then turn right again and walk south for 90 minutes, and so on, adding 30 minutes with each change of direction. (Nobody said this was a good plan). It turns out that in the forested area they covered about 1 mile every 30 minutes. They also decided to drop a peanut after every 100 yards so that they would be sure they never doubled back on their tracks. They had 50 bags of peanuts with them, and there were 40 peanuts in each bag. On which side of the forest-north, east, south or west did they finally emerge, and how long did it take from the moment they were lost until the moment they got out? How many full bags of peanuts did they have left????

If you were lost in the middle of the woods, couldn't you start fire to the forest in order to attract rescue?

Good to hear your replies. I knew I had something there. I would do it with no problem at all. It's the right thing to do.

Those concerned about burning down house, etc. - that doesn't make any sense. It would be easy to know you were close to a major developed area (like Southern Cali) and there would be no need to start a large fire to attract attention.
I am speaking of situations where you're so far removed from civilization that no fire you start would burn down houses.

And even if you were close to homes, I think it is easily provable (in a mathematical sense) that the probability of success by lighting a fire has benefits which outweight the less probable outcome of having the fire spread with devastating results.

When you weigh both sides of the argument, the lighting of a fire is the best and has the most probability for having an overall successful outcome.
