yes, WHAT YOU HEARD IS TRUE. Michigan is probably the largest Muslim community in America. Sharia law forbids proselyting to Muslims. In other words, they try to convert you but you can't try to convert them. It seems that now we have to abide by sharia law. Next thing you know, we be seeing them make honor killings of their women and nothing happen to them, stoning in the streets of their women with no arrest or trial. Sharia law enforced over state and federal laws. Then, we will all have to convert of be killed as infidels as the Koran teaches.

There are indeed neighborhoods where Muslim residents are the majority.But China does not enforce the Sharia laws anywhere in the country. Some Muslim people probably want to live by those laws themselves, which is OK as long as it remains in line with Chinese laws.

Sharia law is only followed in core muslim countries. In other non muslim countries one has to follow the law of the judiciary or the government. Also it is mentioned in the Quran that one should always follow the law of the land.I’d also like to mention a quote by Ali ibn Abi Talib ( Radiallahu anhu) : Watan se mohabbat imaan ki nishani hai ( love towards your country is a sign of faith)
