How will the online on PS4 work?
I've kind of decided already that I'm buying a Playstation 4. But there's still one thing I don't understand 100%. The Playstation Network. Until now, I've been an Xbox gamer. And I understand Xbox Live. But not the PSN. Here are the things I want to know: 1. Will it be free? 2. If not, how will it work? 3. If it is going to be like a "gold membershing" thing, how will you be able to purchase it? I've been buying the 12 month Xbox Live Gold cards until now. Does the Playstation have the same thing? And can you buy a "gold membership" without purchasing a phyicall card? 4. If so, do you need a credit card? Or do PaySafe cards work aswell? And one more extra question. I have my Xbox hooked up to my PC monitor. It's a huge flatscreen monitor. I don't have my own TV though. Will the PS4 work with a PC monitor?
Can you play online PS4 without a PS Plus?
Very few games offer online without Ps Plus. The biggest free online game would be Fortnite. There are many other smaller ones but are mainly pay to win.

No and I never will I have a friend who has his birthday in February and his family gets him ps + every year I activate his primary ps4 and he activates mine he gets AAA title s like GTA cod ww2 bf4 and big games like that it's one nice deal if you ever can make a deal with a friend

But online multiplayer for games is a different story, Sony stated that developers will be able to choose weather their game's multiplayer requires users to have a membership to PlayStation Plus, (PlayStation Plus is like Xbox Live but cheeper and a lot more worth it) the point of this being the developer may get a bit of profit from this, so i expect that for call of duty, they will require you to have a PlayStation Plus subscription, but don't see this as a bad thing, because PlayStation Plus offers a lot, in the PlayStation store, PS Plus owners can get discounts on most items, the ability to store games saves in the cloud, access to content early, (like games in beta and so on) automatic updates, and the best thing is (other than it being cheeper than Xbox Live as its £39.99 a year, and cheeper on Amazon) the best thing is the instant games collection, which is like Games with Gold on Xbox, every month, PlayStation Plus users get at least 5 top rated games (a meta score of over 80) this month, for PS3, they gave away Mafia 2, Spec Ops The Line, Need For Speed Most wanted, Saints Row the third, payday the heist, and for vita Lego lord of the rings, and when vikings attack, in past months they have gave away games like Uncharted 3, uncharted golden abyss, demon souls, littlbigplanet 2, littlebigplanet carting, xclm enemy unknown, ico and shadow of the colossus HD, at gamescon Sony anounced Assasins creed 3 is coming in the next months, and when the PS4 comes out, you will get DriveClub for free, and Resogun free to, in other words you will never be short of a game to play, and PlayStation plus is defiantly worth it, and in answer to your question, yes, some multiplayer games will require a subscription toPlayStation Plus, you can pay for it in 2 ways, 1, buy 90 days at a time for £11.99 (Cheeper online) or by yearly for £39.99 (also cheeper online) unfortuatly you cant pay motherly, but it works out cheeper buying a year, and at the moment, if you buy 1 year of PlayStation Plus, you get an extra 90 days. :)
