Is It Weird If Someone Liked Your Instagram Post From Over A Year Ago

If I like someone's Instagram post & unlike it in less than 5 seconds. Will the person still be notified of my like?

Yes, the person will be notified anyway. If you like someone’s post on Instagram and unlike it the next second, the user would still be notified, only when he/she clicks on that notification he will find out that there is no like listed on his/her activity feed. If the Instagram notifications are enabled on a users phone, then he/she would definitely receive the notification about the like and would know who liked the post but since the user unlike it the next second, they would not find it on their Instagram notifications section.Even if you unlike the post, they would still remember your user name.

Is it weird if someone liked your Instagram post from over a year ago?

Recently someone requested to follow me on Instagram so when I allowed them to follow I thought the person's post were pretty cool so I followed back. After I allowed them to follow me they liked a picture from over a year ago. The picture was a photo of me and I rarely post pictures of myself, its not because I 'm insecure or anything but I use Instagram mainly for photography that I take. I find it kind of weird that they scrolled through all my pics and liked that one specific photo of me instead of a recent one. Does it mean anything?

What does that mean when a guy likes your picture instagram?

Is it weird to like all someones posts on instagram in a row and continuosly like them in a row?

Not at all! People do that to me all the time and I get a little ego boost if anything :)

Why do some people follow me on Instagram but never like my pictures?

1. I don’t like it because you don’t follow me back.2. I don’t like it because you don’t like my posts.3. I don’t like it because it doesn’t have 11 likes yet.4. I don’t like it because I don’t want you to know that I’m creeping on your shit at 4 a.m.5. I don’t like it because I don’t want you to know that I’m spending my Friday night on Instagram.6. I don’t like it because your humble brag isn’t humble.7. I don’t like it because your post is 100-percent self-serving.8. I don’t like it because I’m jealous of your body.9. I don’t like it because bae wouldn’t like it if I did.10. I don’t like it because it’s a happy birthday post for someone I don’t know.11. I don’t like it because I follow too many NYC food blogs to even notice it.12. I don’t like it because I’m driving and that’s how people get killed.13. I don’t like it because I can’t double tap the screen without putting down my pizza.14. I don’t like it because we slept together a few weeks back. Better to lay low for now.15. I don’t like it because I liked your last 3 posts and now I’ve got to play hard to get.16. I don’t like it because you employed enough hashtags to smother a small Grizzly bear.17. I don’t like it because other people on Instagram can see what I like, which is just weird.18. I don’t like it because it’s an all-too-familiar post about you “officially” accomplishing something.19. I don’t like it because it’s too personal for social media.20. I don’t like it, but I comment on it because liking is no way to communicate.21.You can use whitehatbox to auto like ,follow, unfollow, follow back, unlike, pin, comment, share, add friends, view/comment video and send messages etc.

How does one know if a picture on Instagram used an app to boost the number of likes on it without having actual Instagram users like it?

Great question! First of all, when you say boosted post, then one is lead to think “boosted post on Facebook”which is a paid feature for business and community pages. You cannot do this on Instagram.  However, you are probably talking about buying fake likes. This is extremely hard to determine but there are a few things to look for: Look on the post likes. You cannot see all of them, but you will be able to see approximately 100.  Click on the individual profiles.   -        Fake likes come from profiles that have 5-7 pictures. -        They usually follow close to 7000 profiles, the maximum number you can follow, and only have a handful of actual followers. -        All their post were uploaded on the same date. So their 7 pictures would all say 36 weeks ago.-        Sometimes they don’t have pictures-        Sometimes they have a hyperlink to a buy fake followers website-        Look for a weird grouping of photos (people do not match profile photo)-        Most of the fake profiles are from India-        They usually only have one name. So for example your profile name might be Jane Doe or Sam McCalister, a fake profile will say some weird single word name like “Phiolabram” If you need help growing your Instagram Account (Real Followers) or increasing your engagement activity, then I’d suggest looking into an Instagram Marketing Firm.

Does a girl like you if she likes one of your old Facebook pictures?

probably, girls don't really like facebook pictures period unless they have a personal relationship with that person (family, friend, etc.) they don't want to seem stalkerish. the fact that it was from over a year ago definitely meant she was facebook stalking you. don't freak out, be flattered.

Should I talk to this guy who followed me on Instagram?

Guys don't randomly delete hot attractive girls they follow and who follow them unless that hot attractive girl is just a scammer.

Me thinks he has a girlfriend now and she required him to go through his followers. Some girls get jealous of their guy having a bunch of instagram follower girls or don't want their guy following random girls on instagram. The best rule for this I have seen is if the person has over 1k followers there is no issue with following them because the likelihood of meeting actually talking to that person is almost 0.

I do not randomly follow girls anymore but I have a girlfriend so why do I need to cast a net.

If you want to talk to him there is no issue with being like ""hey I was wondering if you want to meet up to get coffee some time you seem pretty cool."

What does it mean if my crush doesn’t like my post, but viewed my Instagram stories?

There is only one logical reason to ever post an Instagram story: to see who actually watches it.One of my exes from seven years ago does not even follow me on Instagram, but views every single one of my stories. Weird, right? And when my most recent ex — the one who swept me off my feet and just as quickly broke up with me without reason — started watching my stories, too, I couldn't help but wonder, does this mean anything?I mean, I never watch my ex's stories. I don't need to know who they are dating or what they eat for brunch. So why do they do it?In my head, everything means something, and usually, it all boils down to: This person is obsessed with me. It would be so convenient if, each time a new crush or ghost from my past liked one of my tweets, statuses, pictures, or watched a video, it meant that they were still in love with me.Personally, I think that if an ex watches your stories, they are either 100 percent still in to you or completely over you.But to really get to the bottom of it, I decided to ask a dating expert and some men for their opinions.

What happens when you like a photo, unlike it then like it again on Instagram?

This question is bit confusing, let me give it a brief-This is what happens on the side of picture's owner notification->>He will get a notification that you liked the picture(when you press the like button). >>Notification will be disappeared when user refresh the notification(when you unlike the pic)>>He gets the notification again(when you like the pic)(there will be a single notification only that yo liked the pic)This what happens at the back end as Chris Burd explained.- You liked a photo, unliked it then liked it again. That’s what happened. On the back end - perhaps a NoSQL Store or MySQL/PostGres SQL there is most likely a boolean character with a liked true or false. Stored in a table or a collection with your userid and the original sharers user id. Hence the association. Please up-vote and follow if you like the answers. Thanks !!
