Is It Weird Using Black Bobby Pins In Pink Purple And Teal Hair

Is it okay to wear pink if you are a boy?

Of course, one can.It is incredible (actually, depressing) that we have managed to “copyright” colors and dresses and looks and preferences. And worst of all, we expect (and sometime, dictate) what others should like or wear.Girls love pink. And ponytails. Fluffy toys and barbies. Rom-coms and flowery dresses. Boys play with dinosaurs and transformers. They prefer muted colors and action flicks.“Oh, you want to keep just the beard with no mustache? Sorry, only Muslims are allowed that look.”“Guys putting on make-up is so gay!”Some of us are so far gone that we would even taunt a young boy for growing his hair long (and that too, for a noble cause). But it is time to end this mania. Anyone and everyone is (and should be) free to make their own choices.Despite everything wrong with our generation, there is one thing we have excelled at - being cool with others for who they are. The global society now as a whole is more accepting of homosexuals than it ever was. We are also coming to terms with other orientations - bisexuality, pansexuality, asexuality. Gender is as fluid and non-binary as it could be. We are learning to get along with people of varied (and sometimes conflicting) religious, political, and philosophical views. And we must strive to keep this up.If a little boy wants to dress up as Elsa for Halloween, he should. If a young girl wants to don a black jacket and ride a friggin Harley, more power to her.Watch every genre. Let kids play with the toys they want to. Deck yourself with the brightest and the craziest of colors. Long hair, short hair, straight, curled up on themselves, black, red, blonde, yellow, green - own your look.Leave no stereotype unturned.Old-school farts with their hearts carved out of granite and their minds muddled with propaganda have dictated how we should live for far too long. It’s time to take back control of this world which is now rightfully ours and do away with discrimination and outdated labels for good.

Homecoming Ideas! Hair, jewelry, etc.?

i saw that dress a while ago!!! i love it!
for jewelry, go with silver to match with ur shoes, or maybe white or red (? depends on the hue)
for hair, u could google it lol:

i personally would go for a 1/2 up do or full down, only so ur shoulders dont feel too exposed.
i like this style : http://www.women-hairstyles.com/images/h...

maybe a side ponytail? http://www.prohaircut.com/gallery/carrie_underwood_l_40844.jpg
hope this helps! :)
edit: since u said ur hair is shoulder length, my opinion would be to keep it down, or maybe do the 1/2 up. :)

What are some quick, cute, good hairstyles for long hair?

Here are a couple of hairstyles that make you look gorgeous on every occasion:1)Low BunIf you have hair that extends beyond the shoulders but would like an elegant and clean look to go with your cheongsam, the low bun is definitely the way to go. A low bun gives off the impression that this beautiful look was created with minimal fuss and is effective in highlighting the neckline and detailing of the garment. Accentuate a low bun with some hair accessories and a pair of striking earrings.2) Long Wavy and Swept to the SideOpt for a romantic look with this simple hairstyle. Keep it loose with naturally wavy locks or crimp slightly if you have straight hair. Sweep it all to one side and put on a pair of pearl or diamond earrings and a brush of bright red lipstick to complete the look – simply gorgeous!3)Short and Traditionally StyledThis is by far the most traditional and classic hairstyle to match a cheongsam. Many television shows and movies set during the time when cheongsams were in style feature actresses in this hairstyle. If you have hair that is just above the shoulders, then this is the perfect look for you. Style your locks in corrugated waves and slicked with some styling oil for a classic and traditional look. Your bangs should be an inch above the eyebrows to showcase your features and short hairstyle completely highlights the neckline and the styling on the cheongsam. If you are looking for more creative hairstyles, do refer to this blog.Cheers

What makeup do i wear with a deep purple/magenta dress?

Hair: loosely curled and add in some hair accesories like bobby pins with rinestones on them or a pretty head band. and use hairspray that also adds shine.

Face Makeup: for minimal foundation try using a tinted moisterizer with atleast an SPF 15 and then dust on some loose powder. try brands like physicians formula, covergirl, maybelline.

Eye Makeup: dust on some pretty gold eye shadow from lashline to brow bone, and along the lower lashline. then apply a dark golden brown from lashline to crease. then apply black eyeliner on the upper and lower lashlines. next apply two or three coats of black mascara on upper and lower lashes. use waterproof liner and non clump volumizing mascara. try brands like: maybelline, nuetrogena, revlon, covergirl.

and for a softer look for the eyes try just wearing the pretty and sheer gold eyeshadow without the dark golden brown, unless you want a more smokey eye look.

Lips: first apply chapstick then apply a light rosey pink colored lip gloss.

good luck i hope this helps :) let me know if you have anymore questions, i am a makeup artist and makeup consultant at ULTA so i know tons of tips and tricks for makeup and hair and products.

i will also add pictures of the colors and products i think you could use. good luck :)

Homecoming makeup and hair ideas? 8th grade going with my 9th grade crush. so nervouse >

For your hair, try something simple like bumping it with some curls.
As for your make-up, make it look natural. Don't cake it on, just because you want to impress him. A natural look will fit much better.

What are some ways to wear long hair (besides straight down and pony tail)? I see women tie it up into something cute, how does it stay in place? Mine just falls down

I think part of the trick is finding styles and methods that will work for your hair specifically. My hair is thick, somewhat coarse, and extremely resilient. Many styles therefore will just fall out from my hair too. I don't like using hair products like spray and mousse. My first tip is, don't buy hair elastics and bobby pins from the supermarket, go to places that specialise in hairdresser stuff and ask them for their best. I use 999 bobby pins, and glider hair elastics. They are both strong and effective and hold my hair tight. On eBay under “hair ties gliders”.These aren't cheap but they will last you for ages and there's heaps in a packet. If your hair tends to fall out of updos, those loose whispy styles aren't going to cut it for you. You need something tighter and bolder. I'm a fan of period hairstyles as they tended to work better for thick long hair. What you can get away with will also depend on your face shape and whether or not your hair thins out toward the ends or has a blunter, thicker edge. The great news is, if you can learn two or three unusual styles, you won't need more than that. People will be pretty impressed and start to see it as part of your style. Firmer updos can be harder to learn and do but once you get the hang of them you'll have a rockin style that will be fairly uncommon and look great. Here are some that I worked a similar thing to:This one (above)never worked quite as well on me because my hair doesn't taper at the ends.
