Can you hear your own heart beat in your uterus?

Okay, hey guys. I'm using my sister's account for this, I don't feel like making my own. Haha. Anyways, I am 16 years old, almost 17 next month. I was with my boyfriend for 3 years, when we decided to finally have sex in March. Soon after, we broke up. I never really put much thought into becoming pregnant, after all, my period was only a week later. Well, my period in March was really weird. It was heavy, then there would be times I wouldn't even bleed. In April, my period didn't come. Well, this month, my period wasn't even a period. There was little to no blood, like spotting. The majority of the time it was just brown. Anyways, I was having some complications with ovarian cysts. My doctor referred me to an ultrasound yesterday. She didn't take a pregnancy test or even consider it. Well, this morning I went to my ultrasound. My technician said she wasn't allowed to disclose any information with me, she'd have to tell my doctor, who will tell me. Anyways, She did my upper abdomen and the lower. She then examined the lower pelvic area. She started looking at the uterus, and her facial expression changed. She began zooming in and out, and she looked a little confused. She then put the sound on, and there was a heart beat. I just assumed it was my own. I didn't want to ask, because she wouldn't give me a direct answer anyways. So, I was talking to my mom, and she asked if I was pregnant. I told her I wasn't sure. Is it possible to hear your own heat beat through your uterus?

Can we hear our own heartbeat if it beats very fast?

You can hear your heart beat fast or slow or at any rate that it may beat. Basically you can hear your heart beat, period! To hear your heart beat, you need a quiet background. If you sit and settle down in a very quiet room, and allow your ears to acclimatize then first you will hear your breathing and then just below the breathing you will begin to hear your heart beat. When you are exercising or physically very active, you will hear the blood rushing in strong pulses very close to your ears as you heart rate and blood pressure increase. In that case you are not actually hearing your heart, you are hearing you blood flow as it pulses by your ears. Which is arguably your heart beat too.

Can the deaf hear their heartbeat?

I am hearing and I don’t hear my own heartbeat unaided. No doctor has ever let me borrow their stethoscope to hear my own heartbeat. So in my 52 years I have actually never heard my own heartbeat. I have listened to a recording of the doppler activity of the left chamber of my heart, which is closer to a heartbeat. This is something a deaf person would not have been able to do. This was also part of a larger heart exam because of some heart issues. Again, something that I could never hear unaided. No hearing person can. Still, I have never had to opportunity to actually hear my own heartbeat.Few hearing people can really hear their own heartbeat. You feel it. If you do actually hear it, it’s a health disorder called pulsatile tinnitus or a hardening of the nearby veins. Why do I hear a heartbeat in my ears? - TinnitusDeaf and hearing people can feel the heartbeat within the body and through feeling the pulse at the neck or other pressure points. A bounding pulse (Symptoms, Causes, and Diagnosis) is something both hearing and deaf can feel. I am regularly assaulted with a bounding pulse, so I do feel my heartbeat often. Such questions may even raise a few blood pressures to feel a bounding pulse in others.I know the question is probably asked out of curiosity, but it strikes me as a hearing person the wrong way in how it is worded. As a person of hearing, too many of us equate things with our hearing that should not be. I get it, we’ve never been without hearing and that’s a mystery. Still, even curiosity can be worded better. First find out if you actually do hear your own heartbeat. You probably don’t. If you do, see a doctor. Both hearing and deaf can feel heartbeats through body in the same way.

Is it possible to hear your own heart beating?

If you are asking if you can hear the lab-dab of your heart (this is how our heart sounds when ausculatating with a stethoscope...lab dab lab dab...), yes, you can use a stethoscope placed on your left side of the chest.
If you are asking if it is possible that without using a stethoscope and you feel like you can hear your own heart beat, this is what we call palpitations. It has also the sensation of as if the heart wants to jump out of your chest. Palpitations can be brought about many things like, if you are feeling very nervous, afraid, claustrophobic, angry. If you are using ventolin inhaler or nebulizer, one of the side effects of ventolin is palpitation.
I hope I answered your question.

If you hear a heart beat in your stomach does that mean your pregnant?

No... you can hear your own heartbeat through your stomach, though. The baby is way too small to hear it just by putting your ear up to your stomach.

Is it normal to be able to hear your heartbeat?

Frequently it is perfectly normal, especially when lying down on your side. As long as the heart beat is not fast or irregular, and you do not have symptoms of feeling dizzy or lightheaded, then it is likely normal

What can cause someone to hear their own heartbeat, besides a stethoscope?

A pillowWater in the earEar infectionHead traumaInfected toothHypertensionMigraineHanging upside downTerrorPhysical exertionExacerbation of pulmonary or cardiac condition

Why, sometimes, can I hear my own heartbeat in my pillow when i'm trying to sleep?

You're hearing your pulse! The pillow blocks out other noise and you can really hear sounds that are being made by your own body. Happens to me, too. (Happens to most people, I imagine.) But sometimes your head is not in the right position, or there is other noise in the area, or you're really tired and fall asleep quickly, so you don't notice it.
If you ever have a chance to be in Sensory Deprivation Tank, you will hear ALL your body sounds! It is really noisy and can be a bit weird.
