Is It Wise To Spend These $500

Should I spend more than $500 on a snowboard?

I have a burton board spent 150 on it. bindings and shoes everything together i spent 326. 60 on the bag to carry everything. I got my stuff towards the end of the season so everything was on sale.

its worth it to get a board considering rentals are pretty expensive but I you want to spend 500 on your stuff that's would be based on what you think looks good. because 500 is pretty expensive in my taste.

Can only spend $500/day w/Chase Checking?

So I decided to go out of town and do some Christmas shopping at the Dallas Galleria today. Well, I decided not to take cash, since I figured taking it out of my Debit card/Checking account would be easier and more convenient. I went into this store and had $600 worth of stuff, and my card was declined. Then I tried taking out of the ATM and it would not even let me take out $400. The nice lady at the register started calling my bank.... Chase, and apparently they told her that I had a limit on how much to spend a day which was only max $500. Why the heck would I ever deposit all my money into a CHECKING account if I am only going to be allowed to spend $500? It is not a SAVINGS account. They said I could use it tomorrow, but not today. Whats up with that? Anyone ever had this issue before? So, lucky me, I got to drive 2 hours and bring back NOTHING because my CHASE account would not let me. That really made me so upset that I could not even take out anything or spend anything if I have not even locked it. I honestly thought that you could spend as much as you wanted with your Checking account. Can someone help me> gone through this? What should I do? I have enough funds in my account. I would not go Christmas shopping with limited amount. Thanks.

If you had to spend $500 less each month, what would you cut out?

Hey David,If I had to cut $500 a month, I would start with cutting out going out to eat and alcohol assumption. My wife and I go out at least once a weekend, so cutting back here is a quick way to save $500. I would also look into cutting back on the cable bill or streaming services. I was paying so much money for all the possible channels and wasn’t watching a third of them. Another place to look is at your cell phone bill. Changing data plans or threatening to leave can get you some more discounts. There are quite a few ways to cut money, but these are the things that came to my mind. Good luck with your cuts.Chaz5and2Guy.com

As a bridesmaid, I was asked to spend about $500 for bachelorette party and bridal shower. Is it usual?

The smart way around it is to snap her out of her princess complex. Since she's a friend, you should be able to speak with her frankly. It isn't your responsibility to treat the bride. Bridesmaids often throw bachelorette parties and showers, but out of the goodness of their hearts, not a sense of obligation. She shouldn't expect any of these things, and she definitively shouldn't ask. Tell her that you can't afford that right now, but that you promise to come up with something she'll really enjoy. Then, plan something you know she'll enjoy, within your price range. If she complains about that, she's a brat and doesn't deserve any of it.

What is the difference between a $50 purse, a $500 purse, and a $5000 purse?

Let me take crystal purse as an example:$50: very low quality, cheap crystals, not shiny, easy to be broken$500: depending on where you buy them. If you are buying from a manufacturer like us, it’s still good value as our retailed customers sell them for $2000–3000$5000: top brand name like Judith Leiber. I have to say there’s a lot of design and quality in their bag. They spend lots and lots of money on marketing and sponsoring the stars in all types of shows. So a bag costs that much is no longer a bag, it’s a signal/simbol.I hope I have answered your question. In case you want to know about us, please check the photos below. We are importing the Swarovski crystals from Austia and applying them on our purses here in Guangzhou, China. You may send us your drawings then we could create the bags for you with crystals. Please contact us to collaborate with our designers.

I have $500 to spend on a new gun, any and all recommendations are welcome, what should I buy?

What do you WANT to buy?For $500 USD you are well within the price of :Much of the Glock line - The Glock 23 (Full disclosure: I own one) is around $450–500 USD and it is both concealable and fairly accurate. It’s a .40 S&W; however, there are Glock 6mms in that range if those are what you are seeking. The SIG SP2022 - The poor man’s P226 (Again, full disclosure: I own one of these) An excellent weapon that runs anywhere from $425–500 USD. Very accurate, right out of the box.The SIG P320 - A very decent weapon , which has dropped in price primarily due to the lack of market for the model. It can be had for sub $500 USD in many places. Most of the Rock Island/ATI .45 ACP line - A series of 1911 clones, these are decent enough weapons which run sub $500 for nearly their entire product line.Springfield - Much of their line runs at/around the $500 USD mark. While I don’t care for their ergonomics, they are decent quality weapons and they easy to buy accessories for.

How much is $500 USD worth in India?

This is a good question. There are two potential ways to interpret this question here:1. How many Indian Rupees does a person need in India to buy the equivalent amount of goods that a person can with $500 in the US?or 2. A person has $500. They go to India, exchange that amount to Indian Rupees. How much would that be worth in India relative to what $500 is worth in the US?I will answer both. Before I answer your question, let's consider two factors at play:1. Currency Exchange Rate: We all know what this is. If not, read up here Exchange rateAs of July 31st 2015, the 1 USD ~ 64 INR2. Purchasing Power Parity:Purchasing Power Parity for a country means -How many USD do you need to spend in your country to get the equivalent of 1 USD in the US?For India, that number in 2014 was 0.3 Price level ratio of PPP conversion factor (GDP) to market exchange rateThis basically means that if someone converted $0.3 to Indian Rupees, then they would be able to buy as many goods in India as $1 can buy in the US. (Keep in mind this more relevant to everyday goods like food and clothing and cost of living. Not including really expensive electronic gadgets)So let's answer the questions1. How many Indian Rupees does a person need in India to buy the equivalent amount of goods that a person can in the US with $500?If for every $1 in the US, we only need $0.3 in India, for $500, we only need $150. So that in INR would be = ₹ 96002. A person has $500. They go to India, exchange that amount to Indian Rupees. How much would that be worth in India relative to what $500 is worth in the US?Ok, so I have $500. By Purchasing Power Parity $0.3 of my money will allow me to buy in India the equivalent of what $1 buys in the US.So we have:$0.3 => $1$500 = ?It comes out to ~$1667So basically, with $500, I can buy in India what $1667 will fetch me in the US.  (That $500 in INR will be ₹ 32000)So in summary:1. What someone who spends $500 in the US gets, an Indian can get the equivalent by spending $150 in India2. If someone takes $500 to India, they can buy the equivalent of what $1667 would fetch in the US.(by buy I mean everyday items like food, clothing, rent, etc, not electronics and luxury cars)

Is $500 too much to pay for glasses?

Not in this day and age- the price of gas is driving glasses up too! You dont mention whether or not you were buying progressives or any other bifocal- Most of your top of the line, digitally processed lenses these days can be $600- $700 a pair- not including a designer frame. Sounds like you did get a reasonable deal, given you got what you wanted. The thing is- you dont want to scrimp on your lenses- especially of you spend any time on the computer during your day- Take it from someone that has worn the less expensive lenses- then had the best- there is NO comparison!
