Is Methylphenidate ER worth taking?

I am 18 years old in my senior year of high school and I have been diagnosed with a A.D.D. since I was little and I was on a lot of medicine (Idk the names of any) and I stopped for a few years and my doctor wrote me a prescription for methylphenidate er 36mg. He said that it will work great for being focused and organized. But he didn't mention that it's addictive and had so many side effects that are actually very common to the patients. Such as thoughts of suicide, insomnia, depression, and loss of appetite and dry mouth. I asked my older brother who is in college now and he says it's like crack in a pill. I heard that it's terrible for your health. Is it really even worth the risk? Please let me know if you have any experience with the pill.

How much is this rare(er)/misprinted 1974 $100 star note worth?

I work at a bank and recently came across a 1974 series $100 star note from the Kansas City Missouri run (J). I looked it up and there were 448,000 in the run, which I understand is fairly rare(?). Also, the front of the bill is printed far to the right, leaving almost no light green to the right, but almost a quarter of an inch of green to the left. The back is slightly off center (the opposite way), but it is not as dramatic.
The bill is definitely in circulated condition. There is a bit of the crease through the middle of the bill (from side to side) and the edges are worn.
Just wondering if 448,000 in a run makes this rare and what sort of value I might be able to expect for it? Because it came from the bank, I'm only in it for $100, so I know I'm at least even!
When I'm on my home computer, I'll try to post a picture If I'm able to...

Is it worth becoming a registered nurse? please read and help.?

So i really want to be a registered nurse and then later on go to school and maybe move up to become a trauma/emergency room nurse. ive been doing a lot of research, and people always say that being a nurse is a terrible job, and it does not pay enough. it also says that nurses make about $50,000 a year at most. its not about how much money i will make. i honestly love to help out people and i am really passionate about being a nurse but i dont want to go to school and spend a lot of money on a career that will leave me poor. I want to go to school and later on in life have a nice house, a nice car, and a way to support my family and put my kids through college (if i have any) .
my question are>>>
1. How much do ER/RN nurses make? (please be as accurate as possible.)
2. Is 50,000 really not a lot of money??? I mean my dad is the only working person in my family and he only makes about 30,000 a year. There is 4 people in my family and we all have a good life. I mean we dont go on vacation every month but we do live in a really nice neighborhood, we have a nice car, we shop at nice stores and all. I live in ILLINOIS and it is an expensive city.
3. i heard a lot of horror stories about how ALL doctors hate nurses and just make their life hell. is it true or do people just make that up?
4. Do you have any tips on what to do when i get to college and what classes will help me. or anything helpful?

im sorry if you find a lot of mistakes in my question. im not American so i have a hard time writing without making any mistakes.
& please be nice. dont post any rude comments.
please and thank you.

Can I go to the ER for severe tooth pain?

Yes you can, and many do…but you would be much better off going to see a dentist. I currently work in an emergency department, and we see many people for dental pain. Many of these are known drug seekers, They often do have very bad teeth, but go to the ER for pain meds and never go to a dentist to have the cause of their pain addressed. Many ER doctors look up the patients on a state narcotics registry that shows how many controlled substance prescriptions they have had filled. Frequently, we see many patients with hundreds of prescriptions for narcotic pain medications over a few months. Naturally, the doctors give these people non-narcotic pain medications, and instructions to follow up with a dentist as soon as possible. If you legitimately have severe dental pain, that you know is due to a dental issue, and can’t wait til the dentist opens, try googling “24 hour dentist emergency”, there may be one near you that can get you in any time of day or night. If none are available, then yes, an ER will see you, and you may be given pain medications as well as antibiotics as needed. The pain meds you receive may be the same as you can get over the counter, however.Another thing to consider is that ERs don’t see you in the order you arrive, but by priority of the illness or injury you are there to be seen for. If you go to the ER with dental pain, chances are you will wait several hours before being seen, as more “serious” patients are seen first. Being loud, rude and obnoxious will not speed up the process either. I think I would rather take over the counter pain meds and wait at home for the dentist to open, than spend my time in a crowded waiting room with a bunch of sick (potentially contagious) people who will probably be seen long before I would.BTW, for pain due to a cavity, chipped or broken tooth, oil of clove is available without a prescription at most pharmacies and even many grocery stores. A little bit applied directly on the painful tooth (use a Q-Tip) is all it takes.
