Is It Wrong To Laugh At The Things Confused Patients Say

Regina Spektor - "Laughing With" what's the meaning of this song?

Okay what it sounds like to me is this - She's saying how people only go to Him when something is wrong and then other times feel it's okay to mock Him. But what about the end of the song? "No one's laughin at God, we're all laughing with God." I'm confused.

Am I weird? People say I'm different. I'm so confused!?

I have depression because I'm treated like an oddball in my family, like I was always the one to make the mistakes when I was younger and stuff.
I used to say stuff without thinking, and I have social anxiety so my siblings would always tease me that I had my nose in a book all the time.
I always did my best to get good grades(B+ average at the least with all AP classes)
And my parents never recognized my hard efforts, they always just said I need to work harder.
My mother lied to me half my life, and I found out my dad might not be my real dad at all.
My parents also never include me in family activities, and when they do, I'm usually on my own team.
My dad never hugs me even when I cry him and my mom just say to suck it up, I love them so much I just wish they could see it.

Mental heath? help me please. i dont know whats wrong.?

Um, what is wrong with me i guess i'll try to describe it too you.

well, I hear people say my name "carli" and sometimes i hear screams or cries or laughing or something.
I hear doorbells, and every time a car goes pass my house i feel like they're watching me.
sometimes i see like my mom or dads or brother's car get ready to pull up in the driveway i wait but then i guess i was just imagining it cause nothing is there.
I hate mirrors at night and i feel like people are in them.
i zone out a lot and wont blink, i say random stuff and have weird fantasies. i overreact about everything and extremely emotional i cry a lot to. and at funerals or news of someones death i laugh, i cant help it i laugh hysterical. and i feel horrible about it. I'm a fourteen year old girl.if that helps anything. and sometimes i get little voices inside my head telling me to do things that i dont wanna. but i do it anyways. HELP PLEASE.

I think people laugh at me, what can I do about it?

I am not saying that you are wrong, but  I would suggest you to do some introspection !!And it doesn't matter if people laugh. You know what ?People do not behave in constant manner when it comes to your image.Their behaviour changes from time to time, depending upon what is going on in their own life(trust me). They reciprocate to you by the way you see yourself..If you love yourself , do not let ANYBODY make you feel down. Also be calm for a while and observe more than speaking, Believe me , it really changes your perception , and on the other way round people will  suddenly become  inquisitive about you :D By the way all this happened with me(Just thought it might help you too ) Happy living !!!!

Whats wrong with a man having soft hands.?

I was talking with a group of laids today when one of them started to hand me something. She rubbed her hand on my while giving me a piece of paper. Then she says wow you have soft hands. Next thing you know they all start laughing. I was confused on what was funny. So they all startec to walk awayI heard one of them say thats so unattractive. So i dont get what the problem is. I work hard and i dont like the feeling of calus on my hands. So i like to lotion. I dont get manacurers are anything so why do women find that weird.

What are some funny things to say to a drunk person?

Haha I want to make him make the cute face guys make when they realize their girl pulled one over on them and they can't admit it haha.

Saying my water broke will make him freak out, and anything that has to do with cheating will cause a HUGE scene with him.

I mean something like, let's say I tripped him and I told him it was the house gnomes that did it and maybe he should search around the house trying to find the one that did it. Stupid things like that haha.

Doesn't Bush always look like he's smirking, laughing at the public?

Boy, bungiebabe woke up on the wrong side of the political coin this morning, eh? Too bad about his approval rating, btw. Finally proves what people like me have been trying to tell you for years now: Little King George and his tyranny cannot be tolerated. It is about time that people start calling a spade a spade. Guess what, King George followers - The emperor has no clothes!

So keep bowing to his smirking, bobble-head approach to leadership. After all, isn't making others feel insignificant how you types manage to feel so good about yourselves?

Why do people laugh at the pain of others?

Depends on what type of pain you’re talking about.Do you mean like when someone falls? You won’t really laugh when someone falls from a 7th floor in a building and ending up laughing, would you? However, when someone falls in the street, maybe an icy road? We laugh at the clumsiness of the situation.Do you mean laughing at someone else’s misfortune? This one’s called schadenfreude, it’s the feeling of joy some people get while seeing others fail, get hurt etc. This happens because when we see others fail, we feel better about ourselves. Thus giving us the joy that can make us laugh. In general, we laugh because our brain tells us to. There are several ways to look at it.You see, laughter isn’t just there and activated for humour or real ‘funny’ thing, laughter is also activated as a steam gauge, where a buildup of feelings prompts an outburst of laughter. In other words, laughter is also there to ease the tension of other emotions such as awkwardness, embarrassment and so on.Another way to look at laughter is as pain killers. Knowing that laughter releases endorphins into the blood thus working as pain killers. Since laughter is contagious, the person who fell, was in misfortune, may also laugh making it a win-win situation out of an awkward situation. The last reason would be because some people have pleasure with hurting others, they’re called sadists. It’s just how they are and how their brain works.Hope this helped

What does the proverb "Those who laugh on Friday will cry on Sunday" mean?

It means, in another phrase, you may hear, "Laugh now, Cry later". Like if you are laughing now, or making fun of something or somebody, Sunday,(or some day), you will regret it. Making you cry and realize that you shouldn't have done whatever it was that you did.In other words"Karma"(What goes around, comes around).
