Patrick Willis is better but the only reason why is cause he's faster, That's it. you cant find me any other reason why he is better than beason cause if you look at them play, they play almost identical. they both tackle, play coverage and do every thing similar. the speed of willis is the only thing that separates them. BTW, don't bring up stats this year cause beason has been playing OLB filling in for thomas davis.

Because people always want to believe in their own intelligence. With a dense and brilliant work like A Song of Ice and Fire that means deducing A LOT. Because so much of the experience is exactly deducing the not obviously stated, readers are definitely legitimized in this excercise.As someone who has many theories some incredibly dumb, I was always 100% convinced they were right. This of course was only because I didn’t recognize the factors that discredited these theories. Such as here probability but more importantly Ned’s character. Martin went out of his way to establish Ned was the kind of man would never disobey his marriage vow. But this requires acknowledgement of subtleties that don’t support this theory.Lastly; most theories exist from soap rules; he is the father of her, that’s someone secret twin brother, etc. It’s very superficial and soapy twists partly legitimized by Martin himself and the L+R twist, but mostly by Star Wars and daytime soaps. People are used to this level and theorize on this level. Which is why even impossible, easily discredited theories such as this one exist in the first place.
What if Jon Snow was a son of the Mad King being hidden by Ned Stark?
Jon would still need to be hidden from Robert and Tywin.He would be closer to the Throne because of having a penis.But the dynamic with Ned would be very different. If Rhaegar had been the father, Jon would be the son of that idiot Lyanna ran off with, borne of idiotic young love.If Aerys was the father, Jon would be the offspring of the RAPE of Lyanna. Ned stark wanted to save Jon. Robert hated Rhaegar and almost everyone from Targerian house was killed during Robert’s Rebellion. Robert was ready to kill even teenage Danaerys and her unborn kid due to his hatred. Ned knew that in order to save lynna’s son he needs to adopt him as his bastard son.

Before Ned met his sister Jon (Arryn) was the one whom saved him by killed Arthur Dayne. Jon (Arryn), like any other normal person, would approve of someone’s (especially a close friend’s of yours) child was named after you.Arryn approved of his name being used to name aegon (Jon snow).
If Jon is the bastard of Brandon and Ashara, which secret of Lyanna was Ned bound to protect?
No, he is too young to be Brandon's son, since Brandon was in prison for a long time when Jon was even conceived. He was dead a year or more before Jon's birth. Not to mention, if Brandon had had a son with Ashara, Lyanna wouldn't know about it, since she had already vanished along with Rhaegar.Furthermore, Ned's recall of his sister's final moments talk about how relieved she was when Ned gave her his word, of how scared she had been before. That doesn't make sense in order to protect Brandon and Ashara's bastard. It makes sense only if Jon's very existence was a threat to someone, or an insult (it would be both to Robert, if he knew).
